In a way she may have been emotionally manipulated by the T's and what is happening with Aryan and his family may seem like too good to be true and fleeting. That someday she will be kicked out from the Rathore house as well.

If that is the case and not just the writers being dumb then it makes sense. Not every human being accepts breaking of a romantic relationship and the one where there was a power dynamic i.e. Adi holding more power, by showing himself more educated, serious journalist etc and downright verbally abusing Imlie, Imlie is more determined not to see the truth of how hollow her life was/to some extent still is.

Honestly, adding teekha to namkeen😈, but that scene where Aryan holds her back has no emotional depth whatsoever. It only highlighted how Aryan was restrained and was left with only regret. Imlie on the other hand was looking like someone whose favorite toy has been snatched, that is how frustrating it was. Because her concern for Meethi is hollow. It is meaningless. And then when he left her and she looked back, I don't know why was she so stunned. What did she look back for, validation, no. The emotion was off there.

And please let us not make this about age anymore. Age is relative. At 30 plus, Aditya behaves like a dolt, Malini is deranged. Imlie's age can no longer be used as some kind of a shield for her. She is not some privileged urban teen who cannot get over a breakup. She has seen far worse growing up.

I am still awaiting the karmic slap that will snuff the life out of her. Her bru ha ha about Aditya and his measly life needs to see a mirror. She needs to feel what actual loss feels like in life. And come on guys, we have many shows to quote where the FL is not more than 18-19 and have been far more empowered and strong. For instance, Kalyani from THR, Naina from YUDKBH and ofcourse Geet from GHSP. So please.

Regarding Imlie, BBSB n Tripathi's are her family so even if these PPL take her for granted n ye log kitna bhi isse bura bhala bole still she will always have love n gratitude for them. Ye soch ke hi chalna hai.. Bcoz I have seen Aparna being so terrible to her still Imlie always love n cared for her. weird ITV logics..

But I too found her concern for BS when Meethi was missing misplaced.

The only positive thing I noticed is that

When last time ASR held her hand after that car rescue..she didn't even notice or acknowledged ASR being there n how he rescued her n was worried for her..she was just engulfed in her love or whatever it is for BBSB n though was surprised that he released her hand but didn't even turn back.

But, today as soon as he released her... She was shocked..also turned back n also looked at him..

That in itself is a bit of progress....
