One of the pair has to Marry and here it’s clear it’s adini. Can’t be AryLie coz imlie is too broken to marry someone else and Aryan doesn’t love her as well. So no one can force them at this point nor will it be consensual.

Also, I think AKT waits for imlie at the mandir and he calls her but this time asr picks the phone which angers AKT so he goes back to the mandap. Parallel scene - asr sees that AKT really wants to mend his ways so he lets imlie meet him but he gets worried as imlie is not to be seen. He then looks for her and then finds her in the car and she runs towards her BS only to find him married!

She needed one last closure to end this chapter and this marriage was IT.

This is what I guess pans out this week. And we start with a new beginning for Aryan and imlie next year <3

They not only wanted to drive the contrast between Aryan and Aditya. They also wanted to replicate Dadda in Imlie's life. Dadda was Imlie's shakti from a paternal PoV and Aryan will be Imlie's saarthi cum shakti cum himmat from a partner PoV.

Meethi herself won't allow her to make that mistake. And I also believe Imlie isn't like Meethi.
