EXCLUSIVE! Humsafars producer Gul Khan: We have got no intimation about the show closing

The media is rife with rumours about the popular Sony TV daily soap shutting shop

Four Lions Films' is definitely not having a good run in the TRP rat race. Last year, their show O Gujariya Duniya was pulled off the air due to falling TRPs and looks like the trend will continue this year again with Humsafars.

When we heard rumours about Humsafars going off air, we called up Producer Gul Khan to find out the truth. She said, "I have heard about it too but the channel has given us no such intimation. Yes the TRPs are not good, but somehow we can't figure out why. According to the response online, we are number 5 nationally, but it seems the TV viewing audience thinks differently."

The latest track of the confusing wedding between Sahir (Harshad Chopda) and Arzoo (Shivya Pathania) was loved by the youth online, but somehow it did not help the falling TRPs. "The show is being loved by fans all over. The kind of response we get online is amazing."

Well something is definitely affecting the rating of the show. Anyway, for now the show is not going anywhere, but who knows the fate of it in a few weeks. Until then stay tuned to this space to read

If the producer doesn't know what is happening with her show, what more can we expect from the show 🤢 We are all in for a bad heartbreak

They can't figure out why? If they had been reading feed back they would know ... TRPs don't come without consistency, some amount of logic, simplicity and characters you can relate to ... enough said! You can't play havoc with your leads for the sake of a third character and expect people are stupid to keep watching ... the show has been inconsistent and all over the place from day one ... post marriage they could focus on SaAz but no they turn it into a thriller ... be consistent ... show a good smooth story ... but no they decide to change it into a horror flick and then wonder why TRPs are not coming

Promise your viewers a love story ... first show all non sense ... then turn it into a horror flick ... and sit and wonder oh don't know why TRPs are not coming ... of course you won't know!!!

Just go check how much SaAz have been focussed whose apparent love story it is ... and you will get your answer!

TFS Raji...I guess since it's no more the passionate romantic love story..we will have to accept it as it is...coz Sony or PH won't listen to us...making hilarious posts to ease the tension is all that I can see ahead... ...will need some antianxiety medications soon...

But Nadia ji i just saw a tweet from the PH stating even when they had given enough SaAz or started unfolding the love story they sadly did not get any ratings ...sonyTV pressurises them to change their original story plot ...tough nut !!

Oh this sounds so familiar.

But it usually takes upto a year for this to happen and by then there would have been a story developed atleast!

This time I guess the channel also is contributing to the nonsense by no promotion at all!

And why can't the producer figure that out??

And if she is seeing online popularity she should know what js being hated about the way tbe show has been the last few weeks as well!

If despite liking the show online feedback is negative they should take it seriously..then the Zaki track and this horror Arzoo track would never have come!

Na Soumi ...the PH is forced to change the plot to stay on air and then introduce a parallel lead to see if it works in favor ...SonyTV n marketing puts 4lions under scanner for next few weeks ...it is clear now next 2-3 weeks if ratings dont grow they quit 😭😭😭

How many epis they gave of SaAz till date and how late? All of past few weeks have been full of zaki zaki zaki and total unrealistic things like a girl in trauma sleeping with a guy ... a mother not caring and leaving her daughter ... of course channel would interfere if your story telling would be all over the place and senseless ... now blaming the channel alone is utter non sense ... both are responsible and if the show is to work and survive both need to work things out
