CVs have butchered it with their own hands, there was no need to play football with the female leads characterisation just to accomodate zaki in the story, it reflected bad , and almost every viewer have lost connect with Arzoo.. so when the female lead does not connect anymore, the love story becomes one sided, this was bound to happen

Very true Harshu...actually this is a bigger problem than Sahir being married. Arzoo came across terribly last week as did Zaki poor guy. And you are absolutely right...it became a one sided love story...they should have shown Arzoo also struggling to understand that her feelings know Sahir loves her but why is he saying he doesn't...that journey of discovery would have made for a more interesting story. Like now, Arzoo keeps telling Sahir she hates him, but Sahir knows very well that she doesn't. Should go both ways.

Very well said 👏 Thats exactly is the problem with the story line
Can someone please tweet this to the makers and let the cvs know the actual problem
We online viewers have been screaming out throats about Zaki but they kept on shoving Zaki on our face
Now suffer 🥱

@llin & @VD :- this wont even stop.. the CVs are exceeding every extreme to butcher Arzoo, if making her cluless about Sahir and agreeing for zaki withing 2 days was not enuff, they made her into an arrogant and full of herself.. and no matter how much feministic we are , its true that audience will never like such self centered Female characters.. this show is and was never a man's love story only, it was a mutual love story, butahir's love story, he is currently all i can see is that its only Sahir's love story, he is bound to suffer, he is bound to repent, he is bound to love her endlessly and she is not bound to even understand and behave normal ? does that even make any bloody sense ? moreover, then why and how will they justify Arzoo if they turn her into a 2nd zeenat now ?

Harshu.sundas yes I do agree they are making Aarzoo go extreme rather than making her wonder what could have gone wrong with Saahir all of a sudden they made her go all brain shutdown only giving attention to Zaki who was irritating and comes up with those boring sugary cheesy yawn-worthy dislogues 🤢 was a total put off to us young viewers just imagine what the Trp audience must be feeling 🥱 the focus should have been on SAaz and only SAaz then bring in Nikaah but they totally forgot who their male lead was and was busy promoting another one 🤢

But before that they do need to bring out Zeenats past pronto.

Don't think they will kill Zeenat, if they get extension then she is going to be their trump card to create friction between the two leads. But yeah they could show that the docs have declared her condition irreversible or that he had given her the divorce papers but before he could get her to sign, she had an accident.

But more than that, they should show Arzoo's POV to the audience for us to connect with her. Sahir works for us because we know that despite his grey character, he doesn't harm anyone intentionally, you see his tears, his self talk and feel his pain. Like for example, when they showed the precap about him threatening to burn her family down, most people believed that he was just fibbing and would never actually harm her family. He is shown to rethink his actions, reminiscences about the special moments with Arzoo, so one understands why he is doing what he is doing.

Arzoo doesn't do any such thing, its like Sahir and the moments spent together with him just do not exist for her. She never reflects on her actions, just does things like a petulant child and thats why we stay disconnected with her. Look at the way they showed her non-reactive to Zaki's proposal initially, She doesn't rebuke him or ask why he is in such a hurry to marry her. She doesn't bother to ask questions about Sahir's first wife ever. A little bit more depth in her character would work wonders for her, Now if she turns dark just because she is recently annoyed with her family and tells Sahir she hates him, its kinda stupid isn't it?

Cvs need to have a tighter script and better execution of the scenes. I know a daily soap cannot run of two people alone, one needs other characters to take the story forward, but if the focus shifts from the main leads to the sidey characters too much, they are going to lose the audience.

Lastly it does need to be promoted better, they had such a horrid montage of the nikah that noone in their sensible minds would turn the TV on to see who was marrying whom. Look at the way they promote MP or CID, or even INKMP these days, they are in your face literally, but Humsafars is hardly ever promoted. Its like they just want to pretend that the serial does not exist.

HS has so much scope that if the creative team makes a bit more effort, they can come with a gem of a serial that will be talked about and watched for a long time to come. The question is, are they willing to invest their time and money on it ?

and when they failed to make zaki the lead and now they planned to ruin arzoo.. what a mess, and this is unfair because at first to shove zaki in the plot they ruined sahir, and now arzoo.. and now the story is at a point where apart from sahir u dont feel pity for anybody or connect with anybody else/.. ridiculous 🤢

@ true2heart - your absolutely right. There is a history in 4Lions show where most of the ML's are sketched very well and FL's fail to impress. These little nuances that you have mentioned go a long way to connect the FL to the majority of the audience watching (who probably happen to be females anyways). If they just tighten the grip on the script and the same writers write the story every day maybe it will change (yeah right long shot!)
I know someone wrote that we only look at one episode at a time and analyze it but the writer has a story in mind that plays out at the end. Unfortunately, audiences need to connect to the story and the characters to like the story!

Sahir's past is the major hurdle in people connecting to the show but they are he'll bent on hiding it...they better show it now or they won't have anytime in hand.Plus the self mutilation and the continuous Rona dhona,Arzoo and her pathetic family,Zaki hovering around Arzoo even in her sleep and the WORST part is poor editing, they just don't focus on expressions and that's when I loose the connect.
