Arzoo's own family turned a new leaf today...overnight, characterizations changed!!
Nausheen was always a very strong woman...she brought up three daughters without the support of any man, faced so many problems, tolerated a rape attempt on her daughter...and now all of a sudden she is talking of suicide? Why did she not try that when Sarfaraz left her? of when the factory burned?

That scene..of a mother trying to kill herself infront of her children instead of dealing with her frustrations in way that sets a better example to her children...that was a degradation of motherhood.
Look at Alvira...the woman also does not have a husband...her son lives like he is dead...and her other son is a useless romeo..who is nothing in life on his own. But she lives on with patience...doing her part. When did suicide start helping anyone.

And Myra, the youngest one...she was terrible today. It was for her college fees that the whole loan from Farah issue came about. She should be feeling some remorse that the family is going through so much for her. Instead, she has the guts to blame Arzoo for not marrying Zaki and becoming a leech to Niyamat House. Arzoo, poor thing is trying to keep the veil of dignity over their heads in their weak times instead of buckling under pressure and accepting money from either Zaki or Sahir.
The only person who can help them out correctly is Alvira..who should be offering them the money.
Afterall, Arzoo and Nausheen came here due to Alvira. Weird that Alvira is not doing anything.

Inspite of knowing that Zaki could be Samaira's baby's father, Myra wanted Arzoo to marry him so the rest of the family can stay there in that house? and enjoy the riches?? They turned the whole family including Nausheen's upbringing to be bad today.

I was not surprised by Zara..at all.

And Sahir...he listened to all this, and thought of using this situation to his benefit...he needs the deal to be done...she apparently needs money...and lo and behold...he drags her and tells her ...the deal is still on the table ." Mein to Jahannum Mein hi hun"..I am already in hell was his self comment. Spoken like the true Devil. And now he has kept his proposal again ...that she marry him for money. The little turn at the neck he gave while listening to the whole Farah escapade tells a lot...his mind was racing.
And when that did not work, his emotional manipulation started. Offer money to Nausheen. Make the family obliged. Irritate Arzoo more. She doesn't want to take the money..family doesn't want to return it. He got the family tangled in itself.
Arzoo wants only love, and respect. Wants the man to say that he loves her truly, deeply , madly,
wants him to be true to her, and live happily ever after. Is wanting that fairy tale wrong??? No, thats what most of us want in marriage.Yes we all want money and comforts too, but if you get them at the cost of marrying a man who is already married before, has not divorced his wife, and you think he will never love you...but still have to marry him for money...all those comforts become a noose in the neck.
She thought Zaki's friendship is true, it was proved wrong to her. She thought her family will be with her through thick and thin, appreciate her efforts...Why couldn't she take a loan from Saiyyara..she is an employee there and is allowed to take a loan. ?? Why did Sahir himself not think of it instead of trapping her?
I did not think Sahir was offering marriage to protect her from Sarfaraz or Farah. He can never protect her until Nausheen stops becoming so weak to allow Sarfaraz back into their lives again and again. Infact now Farah will taunt her more because she allowed her daughter to be second wife.
Sahir still very much wants the deal. The whole money and Farah thing was to make Arzoo's resistance weaker.

Felt really bad for Arzoo today..betrayed by her sisters, shaken by her mother's lack of courage, the only person who promised support...is the person who wants her to be his wife..in return for her money. Go away from here Arzoo...and before you go, give Sahir a thousand slaps. One is not a all enough. And give some to Myra and Zara too.Leave them on their own.

Hi dear,
Beautifully written and it touched my heart. I am just waiting to see how Arzoo behaves with her sisters. I won't like it she is going to be the same lovey dovey with them. This episode clearly kills the innocence and love that Arzoo's character depicts.

Sahir didn't offer her anything new did he? ... arzoo knows what Sahir did or wanted ... he didn't hide it ... he did that before the farah episode too and even after watching farah he told arzoo right after it what was on his mind without mincing any words ... Best thing for arzoo would have been to leave the house and explore opportunities ... the world is very big ... but if choose to stay back despite everything then she needs to own the responsibility of her decision she can't forever blame others ... others are responsible for their right or wrong decisions and she is the one responsible for her own!
And what they made nausheen. myra and zara did was so out of character for them specially myra and nausheen ... am so put off with it ... because nausheen sucked when it came to sarfraz but for arzoo she was always a support!

If Arzoo didn't want to accept Sahirs offer of money then she didn't have to but after telling him and his business to go to hell she shouldn't be standing in the same house and wondering how to take care of her family's monetary issues! She should have found some alternative and moved out if she was going to uphold her dignity!
And her mother and sisters...atleast Myrah most definitely were compromised to show Arzoo as wronged...even if she was wronged this time it was her own family...if she chose to accept the deal after all this it's a choice she has to accept responsibility for...

And Sahir did not tell her at this time...I actually love you...marry me..not that she would have believed...but also..that would have been wrong as well...it would have been taking advantage of her weakened defences and trying to overcome them..instead he stuck to his earlier business deal offer..marry me and solve your money issues as well as help me get my deal!

Nice post! A lot of characterizations changed overnight to glorify Saahir and his stand. In order to prove him and his pessimistic view of the world right they changed characters over night. Or else has Myrah ever shown interest in money. She was always very much into her Appi, her love story and her well being. Nausheen had weaknesses but she was never the one to give up and commit suicide. A whole bunch of characters changed over night to glorify Saahir's stance.

I still disagree he is doing it for her well being or else he can help her without letting her know. She is a junior designer in his company. First thing that strikes me a junior designer in the biggest fashion house is poor that she can afford college fees? How expensive is college in India? What about loans/? Anyways if he wanted to help her he could have given the money to Sarfaraz or let him back in his company under the condition they leave Arzoo alone. This is to get her to marry him.

Exactly, CVs have made Arzoo's all family members weak and wrong, in order to justify Sahir. Sahir can help Arzoo in many other ways...simply he can tell Alvira to give them the money since she is the one to bring Arzoo here. The other day he begged Alvira to make Arzoo stay..he can similarly beg to Alvira to get the money to Farah.Or as you said he can simply give the money to Sarfaraz and have him out. He gave a useless hollow threat to Sarfaraz long back that he will not tolerate any harm to Arzoo...now why is he letting this happen...as soon as he saw Farah..he should have called up Sarfaraz and threaten him/send him money and get rid of the matter. Why make Arzoo feel dependent..if he really cared for her.
He asked her to go..she wanted to go and packed...he begged his mom to make her stay...she stayed..now he makes deals. Seriously no amount of "hotness" or stylishness will ever make up for degrading the woman...as Sahir has done. He is basically saying , yes I am married, but I want you to be my second wife, because I can buy you. And Arzoo cannot be angry and rude to him? Ofcourse she should be.
Love is one thing, self respect is another.
Maybe so, Sahir does have a bad past which might soften Arzoo in the future, but he always had the choice to explain things to her, to open up his past to her. He is rather willing to hurt her and marry her. Sad. I wish no woman ever gets into Arzoo's shoes...to hell with such psychotic love from Sahir.

True CountryApple , Arzoo is shellshocked with her family...they turned Arzoo's family bad to make Sahir's motives look good...its for him to say later that look, you own family cares for money, don't blame me. Thats why that 180 degree turn. The change in Nausheen is unbelievable.

and After doing so much nautanki these sisters and mother are actually wondering why Arzoo married Sahir?

See you have to understand the difference if Arzoo gets angry or rude that is because she week character. She is not allowed to have emotions inside her. Saahir is allowed get away with heinous crimes like gambling with life, burning down factory and forcing a girl to become his second wife because he has a sad past so he can make Arzoo's present miserable and she has no right to be hurt or upset. You have to understand this difference in desi soaps especially 4 lions.

Characterisations have changed but to show Arzoo as right on whatever she chooses to do later! If they wanted to glorify Sahir why would they show the threat scene after that...
It doesn't make sense for Arzoo to not think of alternatives for this situation...she just raves and rants and feels sorry...and then apparently accepts the easiest way out...!

They couldn't come up with a plausible justification so they compromised her mother and sisters...if it was to justify Sahir they would not show him as bad and more bad all the time!

Her family wanting her to marry Zaki was so low that it's unbelievable...it's a clear indication that it's to evoke sympathy for Arzoos wrong actions later!

And if we are talking about difference...between Sahir and Arzoos actions...one important one is ...Sahir takes responsibility for his wrong actions and blames no one else...nor are his actions defended as right...whereas Arzoo looks for scapegoats to blame and is never accountable for the choices she makes...she is so full of herself that she can't see she has choices! And once again we have Arzoos actions being defended stating Sahirs wrongs...which have been called wrong anyway!

I agree with u...come on yaar just think a man say to a gal that tell me what is ur rate, how much money do u want to marry me n yeah i have someone else in my life n I played a love game with u just to prove u a gold digger, now tell me ur rate, I will pay u coz marrying u is imp. for my business deal, n gal shud agree n shud not show arrogance and atitude. ..lolz ...oh god how much disrespectful n disgusting it is for a gal...be it a poor gal or rich gal...doesn't matter...feeling b koi chrez hoti h..at such situation a gal will feel like kill that person.
so how can Aarzoo see such person' s feelings, guilt n pain n agree to marry him easily.
They showed all they characters of aarzoo's family pathetic n selfish yesterday's for justifying Sahir.
