Arzoo's own family turned a new leaf today...overnight, characterizations changed!!
Nausheen was always a very strong woman...she brought up three daughters without the support of any man, faced so many problems, tolerated a rape attempt on her daughter...and now all of a sudden she is talking of suicide? Why did she not try that when Sarfaraz left her? of when the factory burned?
That scene..of a mother trying to kill herself infront of her children instead of dealing with her frustrations in way that sets a better example to her children...that was a degradation of motherhood.
Look at Alvira...the woman also does not have a husband...her son lives like he is dead...and her other son is a useless romeo..who is nothing in life on his own. But she lives on with patience...doing her part. When did suicide start helping anyone.
And Myra, the youngest one...she was terrible today. It was for her college fees that the whole loan from Farah issue came about. She should be feeling some remorse that the family is going through so much for her. Instead, she has the guts to blame Arzoo for not marrying Zaki and becoming a leech to Niyamat House. Arzoo, poor thing is trying to keep the veil of dignity over their heads in their weak times instead of buckling under pressure and accepting money from either Zaki or Sahir.
The only person who can help them out correctly is Alvira..who should be offering them the money.
Afterall, Arzoo and Nausheen came here due to Alvira. Weird that Alvira is not doing anything.
Inspite of knowing that Zaki could be Samaira's baby's father, Myra wanted Arzoo to marry him so the rest of the family can stay there in that house? and enjoy the riches?? They turned the whole family including Nausheen's upbringing to be bad today.
I was not surprised by Zara..at all.
And Sahir...he listened to all this, and thought of using this situation to his benefit...he needs the deal to be done...she apparently needs money...and lo and behold...he drags her and tells her ...the deal is still on the table ." Mein to Jahannum Mein hi hun"..I am already in hell was his self comment. Spoken like the true Devil. And now he has kept his proposal again ...that she marry him for money. The little turn at the neck he gave while listening to the whole Farah escapade tells a lot...his mind was racing.
And when that did not work, his emotional manipulation started. Offer money to Nausheen. Make the family obliged. Irritate Arzoo more. She doesn't want to take the money..family doesn't want to return it. He got the family tangled in itself.
Arzoo wants only love, and respect. Wants the man to say that he loves her truly, deeply , madly,
wants him to be true to her, and live happily ever after. Is wanting that fairy tale wrong??? No, thats what most of us want in marriage.Yes we all want money and comforts too, but if you get them at the cost of marrying a man who is already married before, has not divorced his wife, and you think he will never love you...but still have to marry him for money...all those comforts become a noose in the neck.
She thought Zaki's friendship is true, it was proved wrong to her. She thought her family will be with her through thick and thin, appreciate her efforts...Why couldn't she take a loan from Saiyyara..she is an employee there and is allowed to take a loan. ?? Why did Sahir himself not think of it instead of trapping her?
I did not think Sahir was offering marriage to protect her from Sarfaraz or Farah. He can never protect her until Nausheen stops becoming so weak to allow Sarfaraz back into their lives again and again. Infact now Farah will taunt her more because she allowed her daughter to be second wife.
Sahir still very much wants the deal. The whole money and Farah thing was to make Arzoo's resistance weaker.
Felt really bad for Arzoo today..betrayed by her sisters, shaken by her mother's lack of courage, the only person who promised support...is the person who wants her to be his wife..in return for her money. Go away from here Arzoo...and before you go, give Sahir a thousand slaps. One is not a all enough. And give some to Myra and Zara too.Leave them on their own.
