Has it ever occured to you
That when my tone is rude, its the tremble I hide
That you would see the shiver,if I didn't hold your arm tight ?
That when I look away, its tears that I fight ?

Has it ever occurred to you
That despite what you think, life is rarely fair ?
That despite what the mind thinks, its for the heart we care ?
That not all truth is truth and all lies lies ?

Has it ever occurred to you
That whatver you see, may not actually be
That when the mask finally comes off
There is a you in me ?

👏👏👏 Perly14.

I don't have any time. I just read this and I had to reply to you from Arzoo. This may not make any sense but no time to spend time on this. Here goes.

Has it ever occurred to you
That I asked neither the rose nor the delicate perl
That all I ever wanted was to chase my dreams
That I never wanted to fall in love

Has it ever occurred to you
That you need courage not to look away with teary eyes
That you need to say exactly what you feel
That playing these games is really waste of time & futile

Has it ever occurred to you
That you are pulling me into your past when I want to move on
That life is what you make out of it, that you have a choice
That you keep the truth hidden behind the layer of lies

Has it ever occurred to you
That now whenever I see you being kind to me, I will never believe you

That it need not be what your mind thinks, your heart will never care

That there was no need of any mask to find me in you
