I agree with your post.
If Zaks claims to be a good friend, he must help Aarzoo recover fast. The proposal was completely unwarranted and has given a manipulative streak to his character. Probably he himself replaced the original paternity results and has to get out of it impromptu, so this nautanki.

The new montage reminded me of the montage of Maharana Pratap where Pratap was shown with Ajabde and Phool. Ultimately after lots of drama, Pratap weds Ajabde.

Here also we could see the same. Aarzoo and Saahir.:)

Another thought : what if Zaks is HIV positive and has passed on the same to Samaira and in desperation wants to gets married somehow. There could be a message here how a persons philandering ways can land him in trouble. Maybe he is dying so Aarzoo relents and then after he is bumped off, she marries Saahir. So the title of "Humsafars" is apt. Humsafar means companion/soulmate. So Aarzoo has two Humsafars...Lol

I dont know but which ever way i look at it yesterday's epi doesn't make sense ... if they had to show proposal and all they could show atleast a two week leap if nothing else ... forget attempted rape a heart broken person is not in a state to consider proposals no matter what ... arzoo telling him i am not in a state of mind to even think about it would have been more apt an answer ... i just feel in the rush and to show zaki they messed up arzoo ... and nausheen the less said the better

He really played today with Baawli...when she frankly rejected him... The report khulasa and humsafar request and sickest was she asking time... If she doesn't love him that's it pack up boss bolni Thi why set expectations to him he will be sticking around her impressing biryani nausheen and this baawli here n there to make us feel more sick...

I guess Aarzoo does not wanted him to b left heartbroken because of her direct rejection after all the convincing he did because she knows the pain of heartbreka and for her Zaki still remains a good friend .. like us viewers , she cannot assume that he mayb playing double games ... so thats where I see her not able to say a direct No for the second time

whether its Sahir or Aarzoo , I always try to find a reasoning behind why they did what they did because I feel CVs r making both characters more human and flawed somewhere .. not really making them perfect or else it will b boring ... the day they both act according to what viewers want , show might probably end as we will hv nothing to discuss or debate then 😆

yeah we are so glad that sahir saved her on time .. no jyoti i am not saying rape victims cannot get married or have a 2nd chance, they definitely can, but not just after 12 hours of the horrible incident, even the men can not have guts to go with a proposal.. Arzoo was near to the horror and she infact had double set backs, a heart break and a rape attempt on her, she was obtuse tonight, and majority of us felt that her character has been compromised for creative satisfaction...

See if we r expecting Aarzoo to slap Zaki , then Aarzoo should hv slapped Sahir too na in coming episode when he goes on to threaten her with that paper cutter ...After all that trauma she went through last night , is it right to threaten her again with cutting wrist drama ? So Zaki confessing love = Saihr threatening her .. I see both incidents very much out of place and then it all comes to down to how Aarzoo reacts in both situations ... Zaki knows how to put lots of butter in his words and b politically correct , reason why she is not able to give rude reply to him whereas Sahir is more direct and does not know how to b extra sweet and so we see Aarzoo mostly giving him rude replies but in either case Aarzoo is not the type of girl to go around slapping anyone unless its someone like that cab driver

And again I repeat Aarzoo is not a rape victim .. her life was saved on time ... so there is no reason for her to go in forever trauma .. she can well come out of it in 12 hrs time especially after her mother asks her to bring that old Aarzoo back again ...

Also just because she said I will think to divert the whole topic ., does not really mean she will think actually for marriage .. today ka spoiler clearly states that she is thinking how to say no to Zaki without hurting him ..

Jyoti i dont know , will this make it clear or not, i watched a pakistani drama called dastaan .. the female lead was a rape victim too, and the male lead who loved her a lot and had waited for her had still never got her consent to be together again, and this was after 7 years, and here thwy show arzoo being so normal with marriage proposals within 23 hours .. yes she was not raped but she is still being victimized to make sure that sahir feels guilty, then why cannot be she victimized to make sure that random men cannot come and propose her and also get away with it ..

Again in that drama like u said , she is a rape victim .. here in this show it was just an attempt made but nothing happened to her because Sahir came on time .. so she should not actually act like a rape victim either .. women today r strong enough to forget the nightmares and move on with life really quick ..

Also Zaki is not exactly random men .. he is actually her friend ... problem is u r trying to see it more from Sahir's POV that he is made to feel guilty of the whole thing and so how can Aarzoo b so casual with Zaki .. but again its not exactly Aarzoo's fault if Sahir is carrying the guilt inside and hurting him by beating him up with belts and stuffs .. thats the problem Sahir has to overcome with and for this we cannot expect Aarzoo to stop living life or stop talking to other men alltogether if the man is his friend .. only thing I wish here was Aarzoo leaving house mayb than staying back

Main issue here is Zaki is now made the parallel lead and thats where the such scenes r coming from ... and thats why I wrote in my post that Zaki need to become negative here for SaAz story to flow

I was highly disappointed tonight...
