Yes, I agree to your point: while writing fanfictions, an author has all the liberty to be creative (and the temptation to get carried away) there is this added benefit of the serial portraying those very characters so half of the creativity is already done. The reader can instantly relate to those characters.

The Sahir of this FF is slightly different from the serial and so is Aarzoo. She is far more professional. She realizes that her hard work is the only thing that is going to help her in the long run, and she is not going to be the bumbling intern anymore. She has enough of self-respect and will not take any non-sense.

Yes, then that's the word to describe Aarzoo in the serial. But the same character in my FF is not going to be that way. And you will soon see the result: Sahir will start trusting her beyond what is being shown in the serial. But is she worth the trust?

Now that is the spoiler for the next chapter.
