i wish Sai had said mein tumhaare saath nehi rehna CHAHTI instead of nahi reh sakti. Small difference but meaningful.
I overall liked her points. she is very clear.
She mentions how P has always been in between them and she was a dusri aurat and he supported P. she says she is forgiving him to get over her own bitterness and she has a coparenting plan. all logical.
She says she will not pull a P. I wish she had told P this too that I wont become a P- a person to snatch , be selfish. But I wish she had also dwelt some more on the mistakes of V and how forgetting it all is NOT easy for her. She can forgive but not forget. I wish she had reminded him of the anniversary, the pheras, the vows, the honeymoon, the shared bedroom, the way he claimed her publicly as wife always etc when he said I dont have pati patni relationship with P. Its not just sex, its much more than that.
Anyway she was clear. I am glad. Multiple times loud and clears she said My answer is NO.
V is really behaving like a psycho. Everything isnt about him and his damn wishes. Where was this enthusiasm to make Vinu call Sai as his aai when he was supporting P?! why hasnt he done that yet? if he had done some groundwork he could have made a case for himself. But he is making fake promises that Vinu will always call you aai. Thankfully Sai doesnt buy it.
The aabaa- Sai conversation was beautiful. The kaayde and faayde waala raasta is a great dialogue. For a change Aabaa isnt giving any soft lines of support to V and is 100% is giving the right advice that she should tread on the right path and not the one that takes her to V. Aabaa acknowledges that Sai has been pure hearted and wished only well and all her struggles in the path of truth are worth it and she should wear all her battle scars as medals of honor. Beautiful line. their chemistry is always mindblowing. Sanjay sir and Ayesha have the father daughter warmth. I smiled when he put an arm around her shoulder. Aww.. what a natural touch!
I wish even in that scene she had mentioned that she cannot trust a man like V who went ahead and married another woman- that too P of all people even though she loves him and has always dreamt of this happy family with him. P was the reason for all kaands but V married her. I think they keep stressing on dusri aurat and not ruining a marriage because if V had not married P, Sai probably would have believed Vs apologies and his so called regret and reconciled. So in a way its good he is married. Because if not for P, he'd have convinced her all too easily to reconcile. But then again, he'd be a lot more trustworthy if he had actually managed to have the spine to ask P to leave, introspected and never allowed another woman into his life because he cant give another woman a place in his life especially after the way he ended things with Sai- by breaking her heart brutally. I think even I would have had more sympathy and trust in his claims if he had actually cast P away and remained single father to adopted Vinu and genuinely repented, always kept Sai's memories close.
The Sai-Savi scene was also sweet. Sai is trying to convince Savi sweetly about moving back. Its tough on the little girl but better now than later. this coparenting thing can definitely work out better for all involved. i just hope Savi doesnt flip and turn on Sai at any point. she is a good kid. let her remain so.
Savi thinks V can have 2 wives- ugh! she says why dont you also marry V! oh dear - no child. bigamy cant happen. But Sai didnt get mad- she just says-no it cant happen. I wish Savi would ask V- why he has 2 wives instead. I think shes old enough to realize than no one else in her friends has a parent with 2 spouses. I want Vinu and Savi to ask that fundamental question to V and him to explain why he let Sai go. why he picked P over Sai.
Anyway I look forward to Sai finally leaving toxic nivas with Savi. Sadly Vinu is destined for toxicity with P and CN losers only. anyway maybe distance will make heart grow fonder. especially with his Dr Cool becoming his Doctor aunty's husband. I want Savi also to find a new father figure in Satya. V needs to suffer the consequences of his crimes. simply saying - i wanna fix things and taking the easy way out by tossing away people as and when he pleases is not cool.
