But the problem is that V doesn't act as if his love is only reserved for Sai, the way his anger is. He goes above and beyond for criminals, immoral people like Sada, Shruti, PP but when it comes to his wife - she's supposed to "understand". After everything he did in surrogacu track- months of pain how was he expecting Sai to not leave if pp was around?!
His love is for all- family, friends, strangers, children and Sai is one of many. But anger is only for Sai.
when Sai did things like make a decision to stand by shivani, devi or meet ajinkya/aniket, or even give his gift to bk- he was wildly possessive, upset, jealous and angry. He over reacts all the time and is easily forgiven but when she does 10% of it he cant handle it.
This extreme behavior is toxic. But from a viewing standpoint it would still be ok if we saw Vs crazy, dedicated, shiddat love in all its glory. Bit reality is that he has been mute too often. So where's all that "love" he claims he has ?
The only gesture i loved was Virat Sai Chavan which was truly something that was unexpected, big demonstration of love, but now thats a faded memory....
I'd be more understanding of his anger if his love was also equally passionate
His love is very understated, so much that until Sai started to love him she never recognized his feelings or believed that he could see her as a wife.
His anger is a volcano and his love is a phuski bomb.
Thats the issue.
Yesterday his soul/imagination version says to Sai how he died a thousand deaths, how he felt hopeless, how he was waiting to die to be reunited with her - have we really seen that depth of feeling from him to justify such claims?
They rushed the post Sai death to literally 5 min scenesm one of him screaming Sai and collapsing and then sadly doing a hawan. And even now post leap his nostalgia about Sai is force-fitted. Not one scene of him just locking himself up and weeping! Not one scene of him talking out loud to her photo asking Sai to come back to him. Rather he's guilty and apologetic about thinking of her constantly.
When they omit all his love, longing, passion on what basis is the audience supposed to root for him, feel for him?!
They may now show a few FBs of it in upcoming episodes but i just know that its gonna be rushed.... Its all an after thought. They've missed the bus. Adding a FB or two now after we see him with pp-vinu even if its a complex weird relationship is not as impactful.... it looks like a lollipop.
Why didn't they spend 2 episodes at least on Sai death and Vs feelings?! Why rush it?! That was a huge deal! Even now look at all the times he remembers Sai.... Its so abrupt. Why not just show a solo scene of him in the bathroom weeping under the shower. Why not give a dream scene of V hallucinating Sai around him and breaking down when he realizes its fake. Why not show him listen to her voice in a recorded message she sent him.... Maybe a long ago voice note of her saying i love you.
When he regrets Sai leaving and him not stopping her he doesn't recall his harsh words. He told her she was an orphan, home breaker, a bojh....
I genuinely want to ask the people that are trying to find a defense or explanation for V or maybe even just trying to give him a chance because the story demands it- are you doing so because we all know Sairat is endgame and so convincing ourselves V loves Sai gives us all hope, or are you seeing any objective scenes to show this immense love/longing he has....
Because I also want to believe that he only loves Sai.that he craves for her. Sairat are soulmates. I want to see a happy family of 4, both of them successful professionally and personally being each other's cheerleaders. But what we get of V is SO underwhelming to me that when people say V is so passionate about Sai- I want to believe it but I cant!
Where are all the scenes to show this love V has for Sai.... The intensity is missing in love but is like 5x when he's angry!
