.I found YHM to be cringe as well . Raman is the only ITV ML I detest but Vankar is showing 10x more cringe than YHM and Virat Chavan 1.0 is long gone . Anyone can coax this Virat . I can’t imagine Virat 2.0 in ladak track , hunger strike track , post ousting track , hand holding track , cafe incident .

Balika vadhu was too preachy .. I liked it when Avila gor was there ..

frankly no show should stretch beting 400 episodes.. it goes to dust .. there is no head or tail in the story

if you compare bhagya , yeh rishta Kaira phase all of them have multiple marriages , leap ,death but coming back alive after years just because each other has stretched beyond 500 to 1000 episodes.. there is nothing to bring in the plot


what ghum is showing is nothing unusual.. yeh rishta and kumakum bhagya has both shown this before and kept its place in trp . Even yeh hai chahaten the heroine half the times lives with the villain half the time with heron

Generally, Star shows get better TRP than other channels...they have captured the market..followed by Colors and Zee. These channels have the most toxic, regressive content🤪. Sony gives much better shows..but it rarely gets TRPs. 😆 Exceptions are there ofcourse.

Having got burnt more than once...I have a policy..avoid top TRP grossing shows. 😵

I'd rather take preachy over toxicity and humshakals....the writing in BV had a certain old-world charm & commitment...it had multiple tracks...it was not boring.

But yes, soaps should not extend beyond a certain number of episodes..it becomes pointless.

That way Pakistani shows are good...story is crisp..gets over in 30 odd episodes..

Does channel make a difference? I don’t know. I am asking. I don’t think Ghum would have been this popular if it was on rangeela or star bharat
