Not all men expect their wife to adjust, infact many have started to expect their parents to adjust, some to act fair and some for their selfish reasons in an unreasonable way too. Things are changing, some are changing for good, some are turning into a selfish son too. Some people when both husband and wife are working and when they are very ambitious or have big dreams, they expect a lot out of parents, they expect parents to adjust a lot, they don't even care about them.

Reciprocating care towards wife's family? I know some who do it, my husband being the first 😍. I love him for that too. Trust me, there are very nice men, who can act fair and who are very reasonable too.

Some ITV shows do show such kind of men.

Actually, well said point. Not all are so. I have seen my dad adjust for mom, and some are genuinely changing, even in arranged marriage.
