Sai would have not thought that Kaku will go this extend to prove her stand right and stop marriage... And she was not prepared to read behind the lines.. she believes what she sees and hears... Yes with time, she would be changed in this aspect..

But could aai be playing a game with the CN jokers as well. She has been in that house long enough to know how they are and she isn't that dumb..

I mean she was the one who explained to virat how everyone assesses Sai through a closed mind.. This actually got me thinking whether she is also playing a game with them and the whole anger towards Sai is to show CN gang she is on their side and also a way to stop Sai from sharing any information with them...

She literally came and told them about Pulkit being missing and his phone stolen (the reactions of CN jokers was as if they had actually gotten caught they didn't have an answer till aai spoke)

Maybe aai has gauged the situation and has ready their reactions, Aai is usually silent but she notices a lot of things, plus she is in the house 24/7 so she might have overheard them..

I don't know maybe it is just hard to fathom that aai is against Sai.. It would be interesting if AAi is actually helping sai from behind, and knowing sai during the end she won't let aai's name get dragged in the whole mess..

I mean this can be a possibility, she hasn't told sai about this whole act so sai is genuinely distraught to lose her last supporter.

It is actually like when Pakhi took Kaku to talk and the next day we got the fake letter.. Kaku acted shocked but she knew what was coming because there must have been no way pakhi did not involve her in the plan!!

Honestly, at this point this track is getting super interesting, the cat and mouse game with the climax during Devkit wedding is going to be a treat to watch!!

Wow. While I would love to see this as you have described, at the moment we can only speculate. It's suddenly bringing in that much more interest in the track isn't it. Ashwini's act of silencing Sai today did appear genuine. She was actually angry at that moment. As I said in my post too, Ninad played on her fears for Devyani and Sai both by giving her a bit of the 'love' that she hasn't gotten in years... It was very evident from the hesitation she felt when he held her hands that they have been extremely estranged. So, when she asked Sai to keep quiet in the end of today's episode, she actually did it out of her protective instinct at that moment. I don't think she understood what Sai was trying to reveal but it was more from the point of view of asking Sai to stop arguing with the three oldies and attracting more of their anger and wrath. Unless it turns out, as many posts here say, that she could have heard of the letter scam and already knows the truth but then in that case why would she wait for things to fall apart like this and warn Sai not to tell Virat anything and wait for Devyani to get worse mentally and Sai to be literally thrown out in Virat's absence. It doesn't add up at the moment because we don't have that information.

Honestly, if you ask me, I am not sure if Ashwini is someone who will play a game like that. She had been closest to Devyani for all these years and couldn't smell any rat. She was trying to protect Ninad from being probed by Virat and Sai. I think the whole stress on Devyani's mental condition -- usko shock dena padega, hospital le jaana padega is playing on her mind. Moreover, she knows the Makad gang will use any opportunity to try to hurt Sai or throw her out... So she's trying to get Sai to keep quiet at the moment to stop the matters from escalating in Virat's absence-- I firmly believe that Ashwini is weak without Virat around to do something so huge on her own against Bhavani and Ninad. She stands strong when she knows Virat will be there to back her in some issues or when she had to admonish Virat himself as a mother.

What I do feel is that there could be a continuation of the scene where she will sternly warn Sai and ask her to stay out of the issue and listen to what everyone has said because she has done that in the past when she thought Sai was being stubborn. But she will also go to Sai to calm her down because she is really a mother -- she will be angry but she will not abandon the child. I think Sai needs to confide in Ashwini for her to be able to understand what is going on. Ashwini definitely knows that the trio is capable of being very vengeful and vitriolic but I don't think she expects murderous things from them. Sai needs to share with Ashwini about her findings, Harini and her fears and then it's likely that Ashwini will join her as moral support but also ask her to be careful. It could also be that Ashwini will ultimately be the one to call Virat when she senses that Sai has also fallen into trouble.

But frankly I would love if your theory on her behaviour is true.. it would definitely up the intrigue factor of the track.

If she is faking it then she is doing a good job. At least she will shut Sai and stop her from revealing everything to the criminal gang.
