Is Rishabh a trustworthy son???

hey guys,

this week's discussion is regarding Rishabh.

As we all know that he married Cynthia secretly.He has been successful in hiding his marriage for past 7-8 yrs.

In few episodes back,when Cynthia got upset seeing the behaviour of his parents with Kakul,he told her that his parents were not like this.Present circumstances have made them so.Like Samman all of a sudden married Kakul and Vanshika's dad's revenge.

Please answer the following questions!

#1. If he says that his parents were not like this then why he hid his marriage.Why he did not try to convince his parents for his marriage to a Cynthia?????

#2. His parents especially his dad trusts him so much.Is he a trustworthy son??

#3. Has he set a good example for his younger brother and sisters???

Very thoughtful que..here are my views;

Rishab character is positive but not very strong ..he can see what is right and what is wrong but cannot fight back or cannot support stongly,so he know that parent cannot accept cynthia as she is not from same caste and he cannot fight back plus he doesn't want to lose his parents and familt completly.

2. His parents especially his dad trusts him so much.Is he a trustworthy son??
He may not be very open but he is trustworthy ..he cannot do anything wrong or which can creat troble for parent and family
he can hide but cannot do wrong things.
3.Has he set a good example for his younger brother and sisters???
As a brother he is good but hiding something very big like marriage is not a good thing .he should be strong enough to tell the truth and face the consequences 😊

I feel that Rishabh is a good human being but he is also quite sensible and practical so he was able to sense the change in his parents early on.He knew that their mindset would not allow him to marry the girl he loved and I am happy to know that he knows what commitment and love to his love means..since he married Cynthia and did not let her hang on to promises alone.


He is a strong support for people in the family since he is generally not biased and tries to prevent the selfishness of some of his family members. There is obviously a gap between what he considers right and what his father thinks as right.

As far as I can see he has a strong impact on his younger siblings in spite of the age gap.They are unconsciously affected positively by the stand he takes .

To marry and not to tell it was entirely his decision ... and he knew that his parents are not gonna accept ... so tellin Cynthia that they werent like this before. I feel he is just trying to pacify her. Either he is trying to avoid conflicts and fights or he is not strong enough to let his parents know of A decision he took (Coz he felt this is RIGHT. ANd I will say it's both. But he should have told them.....

2)He is a trustworthy son. He cares for his family. And he is very levelheaded only one in the family right now.

3) Marrying someone u love especially when you are old enough to take your decision isn not wrong at all. But hiding it like a coward (although I do not wish to use this word for him) is not correct.
But still, he is someone his younger ones can look upto

He has hidden his marriage and birth of his child! how can he be trustworthy?

i think he is like his father as father cannot talk in front of wife rishab is also not hat strong as well

I agree with Nehz. He has been helping his family. He isn't anything like Samman who doesn't care about anyone, but himself. Rishab is trustworthy because he's been helping, he tries to help every time. It's his life, his decision to marry Cynthia, and he didn't make a wrong decision, if you ask me.
