That evening…

Everyone is sitting in the verandah and Mansi is playing hide and seek with Geet and Nandhini…

Geet is running here and there forgetting about her condition…. She is already exhausted from the function…

Ranno goes and stops her…

Ranno: Geet, ye kya hai? Tumme patha bhi hai ki aaj tummari godh barai hai, aur tum maa banne wali ho

Dadi too thinks that Ranno is right ..

Dadi: haan Geet bete, zara sambalkhe

Geet: mein teek hoon Dadi ma

Ranno: hare babaji, iss ladhki ko mein kya karoon? Iss ki bachkhaani abhi bhi nahi gayi aur ye ab do do bachon ko kaise sambalegi?

Geet gets offended that Ranno is not trusting her with raising Mansi, that too in front of Rajinder ..

Geet: maa, tu Zara chup raho, mein sab sambhaloongi, aur Maan haina

Ranno: haan haina? Ab woh aake mujhse naraz honge ki meine unke “Maharani” biwi ki teek se Khyaal nahi rakha

Geet: mein apne khyaal rakh sakthi hoon, tum chinta mat karo

Dadi: Geet beta, aap ki maa ko appki chinta nahi hogi toh kiss ko hogi?

Geet: dadima, ye nahi samjhte ki ab mein bhi ek maa hoon aur apne bachon ka khyaal rakh sakti hoon

Ranno: iss ki kyaal rakhne ke liye do log chahiye aur ye kehthi ki ye bachon ka khyaal rakheki?

Nandhini is getting mad at the way Ranno is questioning Geet’s abilities as Mansi’s mother …

Nandhini: mausi, Geet didi aap se bhi achchi maa hai, aap kya jaanthe unke barein mein? Aap nahi jaanthe ki didi ne apne Mansi ke liye kitna kuch kiya hai

Geet stops Nandhini from spilling the beans…

Geet: Nandhini, tum chup kar

Rajinder is curious to know the truth… she meets Nandhini alone…

Rajji: Nandhini, aap kya batha rahe the uss waqt

Nandhini: kab maaji?

Nandhini tries to avoid the talk ..

Rajji: tum Geet ke barein mein kuch zyada hi jaanthi ho

Nandhini: aaisa kuch nahi hai

Rajji: Geet ko dekh ke mujhe apni beti ki bahut yaad aathi hai, aaj woh hothi toh shayad Mansi ka ye haal na hotha

Rajji tries the emotional blackmail…

Nandhini: aap Mansi ki chinta mat karo, Geet didi usko apne kudh ki bache se bhi zyada pyar karegi

Rajji: par apna bacha toh apna hi hotha haina

Nandhini: par Geet didi aaise nahi hai

Rajji: tum apni didi ko kuch zyada hi support karthi ho

Nandhini: nahi, ye sach hai

Rajji: woh sach toh humme bhi jaan ne ka haq hai beta, haina?

Nandhini: woh aap didi ko ya jijaji ko mat bathana

Rajji: mein wada karthi hoon, mein kissi ko nahi bathaoongi

Nandhini: aap nahi jaanthe ki Geet didi Mansi ko kitna pyaar karthi, didi toh apne iss bache ko bhi Mansi ke liye kurban dene ke liye tayaar thi, shukar hai babaji ki, jijaji sahi waqt pe aagaye the, warna aaj ye godh barai bhi nahi hothi aur didi kabhi bhi maa nahi banthi

Rajji: aap kya keh rahe ho?.

Nandhini narrated the incident….

Rajji can’t believe that Geet was ready to give up her motherhood for Mansi….

That night…

Maan comes a little late after attending some meeting…

Geet and Mansi are still awake waiting for Maan…

Ranno is still with them, she is half-asleep…

Rajjinder who came to check on Mansi stops by the door and over hears their conversation…

Maan looks at Ranno…

Maan: aap ne inko samjhaya nahi

Rajinder pities Ranno, after all she also has been in the same situation a few years back…

Rajinder knows how Maan easily gets upset when it comes to his wife’s welfare, specially when she is carrying his baby….

Now that he has lost Sam he is all the more worried about Geet…. That’s understandable…

Ranno ki neendh udd gayi Maan ko aaise pareshan dekh ke ..

Ye kya musibat hai? Ye donno sothe nahi toh mein kya kar sakthi? Meine bhi unke wajhe se abhi tak jaaga hai, ye kisko patha hai?

Ranno: aap ki Maharani hum log ki baat ko kahan sunthi? sirf aap ki sunthi hai, ab aap hi samjhao apni biwi ko, humme toh sona hai

Ranno leaves as it’s Maan’s turn now to take care of Geet…

Ranno is surprised to see Rajinder outside…

Ranno: aap?

Rajinaap: mein Mansi ko lene aayi hoon, woh abhi tak sone nahi aayi

Ranno: ye donno kudh bhi sothe nahi aur humme bhi sone nahi dethe, aap pareshan mat hona, Geet toh hamesha damadji ke aane ke baad hi sothi, aur aaj Mansi bhi Geet ke saath apne papa ke liye wait kar rahi hai, aakhir woh Maanji ki beti haina

Rajinder: mein samjh sakthi hoon, aap jaake sojao, mein Mansi ko lekhe jaathi

Ranno leaves ..

Rajinder doesn’t want to interfere in their family time…

She thinks that she should leave Mansi with them…

She wants to leave but stays back as she is curious to know more about her grandchild’s future family….

Maan: Geet, chalo, sojao

Geet: Maan, aap kuch bhool gaye hai

Maan: kya?

Geet looks at Mansi…

Geet: Mansi, papa ko aap hi yaadh dilao

Mansi: papa ice cream

Just then Maan remembers his promise to take them out for ice cream..

Maan: par Geet ab toh bahut dher ho gayi hai, hum kal jaathe hai

Geet: nahi, humme aaj hi jaana hai, haina Mansi?

Mansi: haan papa, baby ko bahut bhook lagi hai

Maan: ab toh humme jaana hi padega

Maan lifts Mansi and takes her in his arms…. .

Geet: Maan, aap bahut achche ho

Maan: par Geet, ye last time hai, agle bar aaise nahi chalega

Geet: mein kya karoon Maan? Baby toh mantha hi nahi hai na

Maan: Geet, tummara zidd din bar din badthe jaa raha hai, tumme iss waqt apna khyal rakhna chahiye, aaise nahi chalega Geet, itne raat ko jaana zaroori hai kya? Aaise bhi kya zidd hai? Kal tak wait nahi kar sakti kya?

Geet: Maan, mein toh wait kar sakti hoon, lekhin Mansi kal wapas chale jayegi, aap ko jaldhi aajaana chahiye thi Maan, aaisa bhi kya kaam hai? aap ka kaam toh kal tak wait kar sakta na?

Maan realizes that Geet is right…

Geet bahut udaas ho jaathi ..

Maan ko bhi ye baat sunke bahut bhura lagtha….

Maan: hum Mansi ko do din aur apne paas rakh sakte hai Geet

Geet: nahi Maan, maaji kal hi jaanewale hai, aur Mansi ko chodke woh kaise jaathe?

Maan: kyun? Mein Mansi ko chodke aatha do din badh

Geet: woh baat nahi hai Maan, maaji ne pehle hi mere liye, apne hi beti ki khilaaf jaake, Mansi ko lana padha, ab Mansi ke bina wapas jaathi toh wahan sabko maaji pe shak ho jayega na

Maan: tum sahi kehti ho Geet, humme Mansi ko unke saath hi wapas bhejna padega

Geet: mujhe aap pe pura barosa hai Maan, aap jaldh hi ye sab teek karenge aur Mansi ko uska ghar wapas lekhe aayenge, haina?

Maan: haan Geet

Maan hugs Geet and consoles her…

Geet: Maan, jaldhi karo, Mansi ko neendh aarahi hai, dekho woh sogayi, ab ice cream kaise kayegi?

Mansi who was half asleep wakes up hearing the word ice cream…

Mansi: papa, mera ice cream kahan hai?

Maan: Mansi, aap toh Jr.Geet nikle, patha nahi kal Jr.Mansi ko kaise sambhalein? Lagtha hai ki mujhe KC chodke ice cream parlor kholna padega

Geet: aap itna kyun jalthe ho humse? Aue Maan, agla toh Jr.MSK hi aanewala hai, jaise Mansi chahthi

Rajinder is very impressed with Geet… she believes that Mansi belongs to Maneet…

as expected Maan refuses and then relents

Wow , Tara's mother brought Mansi and came

for Geet's function

its amazing though there is lots of issues yet she comes

and with Mansi too

Maan himself is happy and surprised seeing his daughter

who is spending much time with Geet

I loved the fact that Tara's mother sees how Mansi , Geet and Maan

are a real family filled with love

hopefully she will also try and get Tara to give Mansi back to Maan
