Geet asks Maan to close his eyes….

Geet brings the chocolate mousse…

Geet takes it close to him…

Geet: Maan, ab aankh kol sakte ho

Maan opens his eyes and looks at the mousse….

Geet: ye meine banaya hai

Maan: it looks yummy

Geet: try karke dekho

Maan keeps looking at her itself…

Geet: mujhe kya dekh rahe ho? Try karo Maan, utna bhura nahi hoga

Maan: kyun bhura hoga? Tumne kitne pyaar se banaya hai, toh ye bahut tasty hi hoga

Geet: then why are you waiting?

Maan: jis haath ne usse banaya hai ussi haath se khilaye toh aur bhi achcha lagega Geet

Geet: kya? Aap bache ho kya?

Maan: abhi se practice karlo Geet, badh mein bahut kaam aayega

Geet: kyun? Aap haina? Mere madat karne

Maan: mein toh ek time pe kissi ek ko hi sambal sakta na?

Maan is referring to Mansi and the baby…

Geet: aap kya keh rahe ho Maan?

Geet: Mein abhi bachi nahi hoon, mein apne aap ko sambal sakti aur Mansi ko bhi, aap bas apne kaam sambal lo

Geet tries to have a spoon…

Maan holds her hand and stops her…

Maan: itne pyaar se banaye ho, toh ussi pyar se khila bhi sakti na?

Maan looks into her eyes and Geet can’t refuse as Maan takes her hand towards his mouth and eats the mousse…

Geet too looks into his eyes…

Geet: achcha haina?

Maan: hmm, bahut achcha hai, tum hi taste karke dekho

Maan takes a spoonful and gives her….

Geet is happy that she could make Maan forget his problems for the moment at least…

Later that night…

Both of them couldn’t sleep for they know that everything is not fine between them…

Maan is bothered about hiding the biggest happiness of their baby from Geet while Geet is worried that she has been the cause for Maan’s trouble…

Maan senses that Geet too is awake…

Maan: Geet

Geet: hmm

Maan: abhi tak soyi nahi?

Maan is worried that it may affect the baby inside her…

Geet: neendh nahi aathi Maan

Maan: bahut dher ho gayi Geet, abhi so jao

Maan feels guilty…

Maan: kyunki tum aaise hi kamakaam pareshaan ho jaathi ho, aaise hota toh neendh kaise aayegi?

Geet: yahi ki aap mujhse kuch bhi share nahi karte, aap mujhe pure tarah se apna Saathi nahi mante hai, mein abhi bhi aap ke liye Geet Handa hi hoon, Geet Khurana nahi, mein kitna bhi koshish karoon, phir bhi aapse har hi jaathi hoon, patha nahi mein kaise aapki laayak banoongi?

Maan: tum aaise kyun sochthi ho Geet? mein toh bas tumme kush rakhne ki koshish kar raha hoon

Geet: mein toh tabhi kush reh sakti jab aap bhi kush rehte

Maan: tumme kya lagta? Mein kush nahi hoon?

Geet: hmm, tab se aap ko Amritsar ki baat patha chala, aap mujhe lekhe bahut pareshan ho rahe ho, I’m sorry Maan, aap dekho, abhi se mein kuch nahi karoongi jo aapko pareshaan karta

Maan: nahi Geet, tum galat sochti ho

Maan holds her hand and moves it towards her tummy….

He makes her touch and feel the new life growing within her…

Geet is confused….

Maan: Geet, ab mein bahut bahut kush hoon, aur iss kushi ki wajhe tum ho Geet

Geet turns towards Maan who is still looking into her eyes…. Geet can see that his eyes are filled with love and that they are waiting to covey something huge, something good…

Geet realizes that he is really happy….

Maan: tumne jo mujhe dubara papa banadhiya haina?

Geet can’t believe that… what’s he saying?

Geet now observes her hand kept on her tummy carefully…

Maan presses her hand gently to acknowledge it..

Maan: haan Geet, tum maa banne wali ho, hummara bacha tummare andar jee raha hai

Every husband gets to know this news from his wife and here our Maan is lucky to be conveying this news to Geet..

Geet is almost in tears… what was she trying to do? If Maan didn’t come in time, what would have happened? She would have killed their own child…. She can’t believe that Maan forgave her after all that and is only concerned about her happiness…

Geet: mein kitni badi galti karnewali thi Maan?

Maan: sshhh, abhi waqt nahi aaise bathon ki, ye kushi ki waqt hai aur humme koi bhi wajhe se iss kushi ko khona nahi hai Geet

Geet: par Maan

Maan stops her from further talking by keeping his fingers on her lips…

Maan: chup bilkul chup, tumme meri kushi ki chinta thi na? Ab suno, MSK aaj bahut kush hai, thanks Geet

Maan kisses her forehead… Maan: aur tumme bhi kush hona chahiye Geet, aakhir ye hummari kushi hai

Geet is also happy to be bearing Maan’s child… she has now become an integral part of his life…

Geet is happy looking at Maan’s happiness… actually he is more happy than Geet… now he feels that their family is complete… Maan, Geet, Mansi and their little baby…

Geet can’t stop her tears…

Maan wipes them off…

Maan: nahi Geet, aaise waqt pe koi rota hai kya?

Geet: ye kushi ki ansoo hai Maan

Maan: ab se tummare ankhon mein kushi ki ansoo ka bhi koi jagah nahi hai, samjhi tum?

Maan: ab toh so jao Geet, tum jagogi toh tummare saath saath mera bacha bhi jagega na?

Geet: toh aap ko apni bache ki padi hai aur mein soch rahi thi ki aap ko meri kitni chinta hai

Maan: tum nahi hoti toh bacha kahan se aatha? Chalo, ab tum donno chup chap so jao

Geet moves towards Maan and Maan pulls her closer….

Geet rests her head on his strong arms and falls asleep in no time knowing that her Maan is there to take care of the whole family, including the new one…

Maan is ready to do anything for his family’s happiness… he is now determined to to protect Geet from all the negativity of that Tara, it’s got to be his priority, and the law will take care of getting Mansi back….

Part – 79

A thousand thoughts flash in his mind…

Maan feels helpless once again…. This is all his fault…

He should not have left Geet alone, he should have taken her to KC…

What will he do if something happens to Geet? Or the baby?

Maan automatically starts praying to Geet’s babaji… that’s something he picked up from Geet… the last ray of hope when everything gets out of our control…

That brings hope and calms up so that we regain our strength to overcome the problem… that’s the beauty of prayers…

Maan hopes for the best….

Maan could sight Dadi’s wheelchair….

And Geet is behind it, trying to push while the mad crowd is not letting them to move…

Maan is too far from them, he rushes towards them as Dadi’s wheelchair is pulled away from Geet…

Dadi is moved to one direction while Geet is pushes in the opposite direction…

Maan doesn’t know where to go first…

Maan has to reach both of them somehow…

Geet is struggling to reach Dadi and is pulled and pushed roughly by the people… she tries hard to make way when she falls…

Maan’s heart skips a beat, he can’t watch her go down in front of his eyes…

He rushes towards her and Luckily some good soul offered a hand and she is back on her feet….

Maan is there and he goes and hugs her….

Maan: Geet, tum teek toh haina?

Geet: Maan, Dadima

Maan: Geet, tumme kuch hua toh nahi na?

Geet: Maan, mein teek hoon, Dadima ko bachao

Maan holds her hand tight and takes her with him, while protecting her by putting himself in front of her…

They go to Dadima….

There is the announcement that it’s just a fake alarm…

Maam pushes the wheelchair to the sides and takes both of them to the pavement…

They wait there until the mob clears…

Geet is worried that Maan is angry with her for the happenings…

He should be, this is the last thing that he wanted to avoid but here he is again put through the same pressure, luckily everyone is safe…

But this was unnecessary, this was not something that happened on its own, there was absolutely no need for them to come here…

Where on earth did Geet get such wishes?

And who asked her to take Dadi along…

This is not what Maan expected from her…

Yes, she is still young and naïve, but she has to grow up and be responsible someday sooner… this is not going to help if she continues to be playful….

Maan helps Dadi with the wheelchair while Geet quietly follows them….

She could see that Maan is agitated and upset with the happenings….

But how would she expect something like this to happen out of nowhere?

Still she is answerable to Maan, what if something happened to Dadima….

Then too Geet doesn’t think about herself and their baby…

She doesn’t know that it’s not just her baby but it’s also someone else’s…. And he has every right to expect her to take care of his baby, or at least be careful to keep his baby safe… but no, she won’t…

Maan has spoilt her by taking care of her problems himself…

She was on her own, fighting her way aginst her odds, but Maan just entered her life and took charge even without caring to wait for her permission….

so now it’s up to him to take care of her and also the baby, haina?

Dadima was also worried about Geet and the baby…

Dadi is in the dusk of her life, having lived it to the fullest extent, and her duties also have been handed over to Geet now, she can leave the world happily with utmost satisfaction and gratitude…

But Geet, she has just now stared her new journey with Maan…. She has a life ahead with Maan….

And now she is not alone, she is carrying another life…

Maan is the one who would be affected if at all something happened, thank God, aaisa kuch nahi hua…

Maan has already seen a lot of things that he shouldn’t have at this age, now he is trying hard to return to a normal life after he has met Geet….

Everyone should be helpful and not put him under these circumstances again…

Maan: Dadi, app teek toh haina?

Dadi: haan, bete, I’m just worried about Geet

Maan doesn’t respond…

Dadi turns to Geet….

Dadi: Geet beta, how are you feeling?

Geet: I’m good Dadima

Dadi is afraid that Geet would also be hiding her discomfort like Sameera did….

Maan is looking at Geet only…

Dadi reads his mind… .

Dadi also feels that it’s better to check with a doctor….

Geet goes to help Dadi…

She tries to take the wheelchair from the booti…

Maan comes and shuts it…

Geet is angry that Maan is not letting her even help Dadi….. .

Maan helps Dadi get down from the car while a helper from the hospital comes with a wheelchair….

Maan thanks the helper for assisting them.

He then tells that he would like to take dadi himself…

He then takes dadi in….

Geet is still mad, she is waiting outside itself .

Its his Dadima, mein toh parayi ho gayi hoon, haina?

Maan turns and stares her….

Geet goes with them….

Maan goes and informs the reception desk and asks Dadi to wait while he has to go see someone…

Maan is not ready to leave Geet alone… he is staring her…

Dadi: Maan, hum haina, aap kyun itna chinta karte ho?

Maan: Dadi, be careful

Dadi understands his plight…

Dadi: I’m here, I’ll take care

Geet thinks that Maan doesn’t believe that she would take care of Dadi… he is asking dadi to take care of herself in front of Geet… what an insult?

Geet is fuming, chalo, ek choti galti hi gayi Geet se, iska matlab ye nahi ki Geet hamesha galat hogi..

Dadi: Geet, why don’t you take a seat?

Geet: I’m fine dadi

Geet is standing beside Dadi and looking at Maan angrily…

Maan the leaves….

Dr checks Dadi and says that she is fine, actually much better…

Dr is seeing Dadi in a positive mood after a long time…

Thanks to Geet….

But Maan is not here to hear all this… he always comes at the wrong time or he is compelled to come at the wrong times when it comes to Geet…. Haina babaji? Ye unki problem hai? Mein kya sakti?

Maan tries to be happy whenever he is with Geet…

Those are the moments he could use to boost his morale to win his daughter…

Simultaneously he is going to the court with a petition to have his daughter for the weekends as he used to meet her all these years…

Maan demands that this can’t be taken away from him and his daughter…

His daughter has every right to be with her father no matter what the situation is…

The custody can be decided later but he should get back his access to his daughter…

Geet is confident that they will win this, she wants Maan to be back with Mansi soon…

Geet gets Pawan’s number somehow…

She requests him to make Mansi talk to Maan on Maan’s personal number…

She gives the number to him… it’s the one which Dadi and Geet only have access to…

Maan gets a call soon…

Maan is surprised to hear from his daughter…

He is confused how he got a call to this number….

It’s a video call…

Maan is so happy to see Mansi….

Ab toh Maan uss se pyaar se batein kartha hai, aur khulke apne pyaar ka izhaar bhi kartha hai…. .

Maan: tumme koi galatfami hui hai Geet, kaun kehta ki mein tujpe barosa nahi karta, aaisa hota toh main ye shadi kaise kartha?

Geet: mein jaanthi hoon ki aap mere liye joot bol rahe ho

Geet looks at him doubtfully…

Maan: tum itna kyun sochthi ho Geet? Aaisa kuch nahi hai jaisa tum sochthi ho

Yes, Maan has finally accepted that Geet has equal rights over Mansi as much as he has… that’s why she is fighting with him, she is fighting for her right…

She keeps looking for her gift all around the desk … but there is nothing there, not even a petal…

Maan is sitting and watching her with a huge smile….

Geet tries to look uninterested and goes and checks the drawers… nothing to surprise her…

Maan gets up and looks at her…

Geet takes a file and pretends to be working seriously…

Maan is coming towards her… Geet gets nervous….

Maan snatches the file from her…

Maan: I was just looking for this file, what is this doing here?

Geet: woh Mr. Saxena ka file hai, kal aap ki meeting haina? Issiliye check kar rahi thi

Maan shows the file to her…

Maan: ye Saxena’s ka file hai Geet?

Geet takes a look… iss Pinky ne galat file dedhiya…

Pinky gave the file for Maan had asked for it .. it’s the Sharmas file…

Geet: nahi

Maan: tummare dhyaan kidar hai Geet?

Maan pretends to be angry with her…. He is totally back to kadoos MSK attitude…

Geet: ye achanak aap ko kya ho gaya?

Maan: what’s wrong Geet? I don’t have time for your silly questions

So saying Maan leaves with the file…. .

Geet looks at him in astonishment… what is wrong with him?

Geet starts thinking about how to go to Shimla without alerting anyone…

She has to go alone telling lies to her family that she is going back to Delhi…

Geet books the tickets to Shimla.. she knows that the Khuranas have a guest house there where Maan usually stays in the weekend, she can stay there, she knows where Maan keeps the keys, she is all set to go.. Now she has to find the address where Mansi stays…

Geet stays back at KM on Thursday saying that she has to pack and starts searching for any clue…

She searches Maan’s cupboards at his room in the mansion and finds out a picture of Maan and Sam at Sam’s place in Shimla.. it’s took in the street just outside the house… she can use it to find the place… .she takes it with her…

Geet goes to Hoshiarpur on Friday…

Everyone is excited to see her… for the next two days she tells them about the stories at her sasuraal and how she is going to the office with Maan.. all are happy to hear that they are good…

On Monday evening Brij drops her at the Amritsar railway station and she boards the train to Delhi, but she gets down at Chandigarh and takes the train to Shimla from there…

She reaches Shimla early Tuesday morning…

She goes to the guest house and after a short rest goes out in search of that house.. .

She asks the local autowalas and one of them recognized the street, he drops her on that street…

Geet then keeps looking for the house on the picture…

Yes, it’s there, it’s that one, the same gulmohar tree in front of the porch… the same gate, it looks a bit dull from the one in the picture, maybe it was newly painted at that time and now the paint has faded…

Geet waits and watches from a distance…

A woman her mother’s age comes out to buy veggies from the street vendor…

It must be Mansi’s nani… she looks like the kind affectionate typical nani types…

Sam resembles her mother a lot… Geet looks at the picture and the woman at the house to confirm…

Geet waits for the vendor to leave, the lady has gone inside by the time Geet reaches the door…

Some other woman in her twenties comes to get the door…

That woman looks out and goes back seeing no one out…

After a while Geet rings the bell again…

She doesn’t recognize Geet and thinks that she has come for sale…

Aunty looks at her empty hands… nothing to sell…

Geet: I came to see Mansi

Aunty is shocked…. She looks at Geet in suspicion….

Geet gets off from her seat, she is bewildered, how did she know me?

Next morning…

Geet is fast asleep cuddling with Maan…

Maan has just woke up to see the beautiful sight of his Mishty happily sleeping still clinging on to him like a baby to its mother…

Maan kisses her forehead and she tightens her hold…

She is half awake…

Maan tries not to wake her as he makes her comfortable by pulling the duvet up… Maan wants to protect her bare skin from the chillness of the blower above them…

Geet: ek baat poochoon?

Maan: haan poocho Geet

Geet: app mujhse kitna pyar karte ho?

Maan: phir se wahi sawaal?

Geet: aap jawaab kyun nahi dete ho?

Maan doesn’t understand what she wants to hear.. that he loves her more than Sameera?

Maan keeps avoiding the question thinking on this line…

Geet is too delicate for his intense love… Maan unleashes his wild desires… he wants to show how much he loves her… she soon realizes that it’s more than what she can handle….

Geet can’t take it… par kabhi kabhi wild hona toh banta hai… you need variety in everything..

Maan doesn’t stop as soon as he is finished making love, he soothes her aches with his warm hug later..

Just then Maan gets a call from the tour organizer.. they are a bit late…

First they cross the world highest motorable pass Khardungla & decent to Nubra valley. It’s freezing out there and Geet clings to Maan to keep herself warm..

They stay the night at the tent and enjoy the dark cold night together… Geet loves every bit of the journey while Maan gets to explore a new side of himself, Geet deewana…

Next day they take a mesmerizing ride following Shyok river to reach Pangong Lake. While Geet is thoroughly enjoying the new adventure each day, Maan becomes a full time crazy fan of her…

A week flies in no time and they are back to Manali…

Geet can’t stop talking about her new adventure… Maan becomes a happy listener as they head back to Delhi..

Maan has already started to miss the unhindered joy of being with her which is yet to become a reality in his life…

Maan hopes to break all the chains sooner and set himself free to make the rest of the journey as happy as this one..

Maan is compelled to go back to being the caged prisoner of his own I’ll fate…

Back in Delhi…

Maan has gone to KC and returns late..

Geet is waiting for him..

Maan comes back and finds Geet half asleep…

Maan tries not to disturb her, but Geet gets up seeing Maan..

Geet finds him trying to warm the food… .

Geet helps him and they have dinner together…

Maan: this is so yummy Geet

Geet: hmm, it’s a Sanjeev Kapoor recipe, pasta in makhni sauce, but this is not like what he cooked

Maan: forget about his version, I like it very much, it’s different from the ones I regularly have, this is the best pasta I have had

That night…

Geet is lying with her head resting on Maan’s arms as he runs his hand through her hair…

Geet is serious, she wanted to ask this but didn’t have the courage, everytime she tried and ended up asking him how much he loved her instead…

But now she feels like she has gained her place in Maan’s life and she has the rights to know everything…

Maan: kya baat hai Geet? Maan is worried that she would be asking about Mansi again…

Geet: aap nahi chate toh aap tnahi bathao, mujhe koi problem nahi hai, par agar aap chate toh aap mujhe batha sakte ho

Maan: Aaise kaunsi baat hai jo tumme pareshaan kar rahi hai?

Geet: Woh, Sameera didi aapko kaise chodke gayi?

Maan is silent for a moment…

Geet feels like she has made a blunder… everything was going great… abhi usko Maan ki adeet ko yaad dilana tha kya?

But Dadima too didn’t have any proper idea of what happened..

Poor dadi was stuck in the house while everything happened..

Maan shut himself up and has never shared his pain with dadi or anyone else…

Geet feels that he is unnecessarily burdening himself by keeping it within, he should get it out of his system once for all and know that his life is not the same, he has a new friend in Geet, with whom he should be able to share not only his happiness but also his sorrows… when Maan is ready to move on and start afresh for her sake, he must also realize that she is not here to be just a part of his future, but she is here to accept him along with his past, she needs to know what he went through in order to help lessen his pain …

Geet didn’t expect such a question from Maan…

Geet: I’ve only seen her pictures, she is beautiful, aap ko unki bahut yaad aathi hogi

Maan is lost in his thoughts…

Geet wants him to get over those memories that is haunting him by sharing it with her… it must be painful for the moment but he will be much more relieved later…

Geet: no one can believe that she is gone so early, aaisa kya hua?

Maan: mujhe bhi patha nahi ye sab kaise hua aur kyun hua, meine sapne bhi nahi socha tha ki woh aaise hum dono ko chodke jaayegi

Geet: unko pehle hi koi problem thi kya? Koi kamzori?

Maan: she was always active and happy throughout the pregnancy, actually I was the one little worried about the delivery, she was so confident and clear that she would have a easy normal delivery like her sister

Maan pauses and thinks about the past…

Geet: phir kya hua?

Maan: it was a month before the due date that she complained about little discomfort, I was right there with her all the time, we went to the hospital, by then she was all fine, the doctor said that it must a false pain and we stayed back to be sure that she is fine, all of a sudden her water broke and she was rushed to the theatre, the baby was delivered by C-section, they showed Mansi to me and said that I can see Sam in a couple of hours as she is still unconscious, then there was panic and the doctors rushed to her help, they said she had a cardiac arrest, no one knew why, she died without having a word with me, not even seeing our daughter, I don’t even know if she knew that we have a daughter

Geet: she will know now, aap fikar mat karo, woh hamesha hummare saath rehke Mansi ki raksha karegi, aap dekho, Mansi kaise jaldhi hummare paas aayegi aur aap ko didi ko yaad karne ki moka hi nahi degi, aap ko lagega ki didi aapke saath hai

Geet is happy that she could be a small reason for his happiness…

Geet: mein kabhi aapko chodke nahi jaaoongi, ab toh babaji se mere ek hi vinathi hai, ab hummare pariwar ko hamesha surakshit rake

Maan: babaji ko patha hai ki mujhe teri zaroorat hai, issiliye tumme mere paas bheja hai Geet

Geet: aap sab kuch babaji ke upar chod dijiye, unko patha hai ki humme kab kiski zaroorat padegi

Maan: mujhe toh tumse milne ke badh hi zindagi pe dubara viswas hone lagi hai Geet, ab mein tummare aur Mansi ke zindagi mein koi aanch nahi lagne dhoonga

Geet: mein bas aapko kush dekhna chahti hoon Maan, hamesha, aur uske liye mein kuch bhi kar sakti

Maan: tum saath ho toh mujhe kushi ki koi kammi nahi hai Geet

Geet: aap ne bhura toh nahi laga na mujhse ye baat karke

Geet is still skeptical about what Maan might think about it…

Maan: waise tumme mere zindagi ke barein mein sab kuch jaanne ka pura haq hai Geet, mujhe kushi hai ki tumne mujhe poocha, mein bhi kissi aur ke saath ye baat share nahi kar sakta, haina?

Maan starts kissing her, maahiiiii….

Geet is happy that Maan has started talking to her openly about the past…

But still he doesn’t tell anything about that Tara…

Geet thought that she will get to know more about that Tara from the past story..

But Maan just stopped at the passing of Sameera and didn’t talk about how Tara took Mansi with her and why is Maan not able to get her back as and when he wishes, why is he waiting for that Tara’s permission?

Who is she to have a say in Mansi’s life, let alone Maan’s life?

Mansi is his daughter, he only has all the rights over her…

Geet wants to know more about the current situation…

Why is Maan afraid of that Tara? Why is he not ready to openly acknowledge their marriage?

He has kept it a secret to Tara, but Geet did tell her about the wedding, Geet did tell her that Maan was forced to marry her though…

Geet is now aware of the real tricky situation that Maan is in and she is little unhappy that Maan still doesn’t believe that she could be his strength, he thinks that accepting her in his life could take away his daughter from him…

That’s understandable for no father would give up his daughter for anyone else, haina?

Maan is shocked..

Who is this anonymous caller?

How does she know Geet? She knows about Maan too?

How did she get his no?

What does she want?

Is this anything about Geet’s past?

Something to do with that Anika?

A lot of thoughts flash in his mind at the same time, anything about Geet scares him to the core, he loves her so much and has gotten used to her company to the extent that it’s now impossible to stay away from her even for a few days….

Owing to Geet’s habit of getting into trouble whenever she is away from him, he is constantly worried about her and that makes him think about everything negative…

Maan: but, she called me this morning, she was fine

Lady: it’s something very serious, this matter should remind within us

Maan: May I know who you are?

Lady: I’m a Dr, a gynecologist to be more specific

Maan takes this lady seriously once she revealed her profession…

Maan: what’s the matter Dr? How do you know Geet?

Dr: Geet came to my clinic today

Maan: why? Is there something wrong with Geet? I mean, any health issues that I didn’t know?

Dr: she is physically good, but the problem is different

The Dr pauses…. But Maan is losing his patience….

Dr: Your wife wants to undergo sterilization

Lady: she is confused, she said that someone died during delivery and that she doesn’t want that to happen with her too, I don’t understand why she didn’t talk to you

Maan: I’m sorry Dr, it’s my fault too, I should have been more careful, but I didn’t know she had such fears

Lady: it might be psychological, anyways she needs your help more than anyone else’s right now

Maan: where is she now? Shall I talk to her?

Lady: I think you should talk to her in person, I have asked her to come for the admission tomorrow, but I don’t think she understands what she is doing, I need to talk to you about this

Maan: I’ll be there tomorrow morning

Maan gets the address from that lady doctor…

Maan thinks about telling her Sameera’s story that day.. he didn’t know that it would have such an impact on her..

Next morning Maan is at the nursing home waiting for Geet to come…

Maan can’t find Geet at the clinic…

He is scared that she would be in some kind of danger….

There is every reason that Geet would do anything stupid for her stupid brain is known for taking instant foolish decisions….

Maan goes to the reception and inquires about his wife Geet Khurana…

Receptionist: who are you? How do you know Mrs. Geet?

Maan: I’m Mr.Khurana, she is my wife, now tell me where she is? Is she fine? What happened to her? What have you people done to her? Why can’t I see my wife? What’s wrong with you people? I’ll sue everyone if something happens to Geet, I need to see her now

Maan vents his frustrations and anger on that poor soul who has no clue what’s happening….

Rec: but sir, you have mistaken, Mrs.Khurana is not here

Maan: what? But the Dr said she would be here only

Maan has no other go but to wait there…

Maan looks around… it’s a maternity clinic…

Some expecting mother’s are also waiting there to see the Dr….

One young mother is in labour…

Her family is anxiously waiting outside….

Maan could easily relate to their position…

The girl’s father is desperately trying to get some updates about his daughter’s well being….he runs to every nurse and asks them about his daughter…

One nurse patiently tries to calm that old man…

Nurse: papaji, she is fine, Dr ma’am is with her, it’s just a delivery, every day girls deliver here, and they are all fine and happy with their kids, you are unnecessarily worried, look at that girl with the baby, she delivered two days back and is ready to go home with her boy, see how happy shecis, you too will be a proud dadaji

Maan keeps watching them…

He is relieved that the people here are very caring and so Geet should be safe….

Suddenly the Dr is seen talking to the girl’s husband, he is very young, the girl must be even younger…

That boy is ignorant of what’s happening and nods his head for everything the Dr says .. .

He reminds Maan about the younger version of himself, back at the time of Mansi’s birth…

They rush the girl to the OP…

The father is helpless and really scared… the mother is praying every God she knows…

Maan automatically prays for that girl ….

Maan is reminded of the past, when under the same circumstances he lost Sameera…

But that was a very very rare case, Sameera already had some heart condition that lead to the mishap… still Maan’s mind can’t stop thinking about the chances of saving her had he been a little more aware then, now he has mastered the whole process, he could become a Dr himself…

This is a normal case, and they have opted C-section to avoid any risk…

Within minutes the baby is born, they forget everything in a second and are so happy to welcome the newborn. It’s a girl, just like Mansi….

Maan was more worried than that girl’s family and he is very happy that the girl is fine, if he is so much worried about an unknown girl, what would happen if it were Geet?

But this Geet doesn’t understand anything and is always testing him with such things that scare the hell out of him…

She is the only one who could do this to the sher, the otherwise mighty Maan Singh Khurana….

The Dr is back….

The Dr wants to talk to Maan before Geet comes…

Maan goes and meets the Dr…

Maan: good morning Dr

Dr: so you are Mr.Khurana ?

The Dr raises her head and takes a look at him….

Maan: where is Geet? How is she?

Dr: so you are worried about your wife now?

Maan: what?

Dr: what were you doing all these days?

Maan: I don’t know what you are talking about

Dr: Mr.Khurana, as I said your wife came to me with a request that no girl has ever made, I’ve only seen girls coming to me crying that they want to become a mother somehow, but your wife doesn’t want to become a mother, that’s not something normal, you should know about your wife better, or is it that you don’t care about her much?

Maan: I’m afraid that I have to admit that it’s as much a shocker to me as much as it’s for you

Dr: when did you last see your wife?

On the way back to Delhi, both of them remain silent…

They had a lot to think about.. they have got to know each other more… specially Geet, Maan has never seizes to surprise her with his goodness and his love for her…

This time Geet has got to see that MSK, who fell in love with his Mishty, irrespective of his status as a single father, that MSK who has accepted her as his Saathi, and not just a wife or the other parent to complete his family….

They are back at KM…

As soon as they reach KM, Geet runs to meet Dadima…

Maan stops her by holding her hand….

Maan: Geet, why are you always in a hurry? You need to slow down Geet, it’s high time you realize that you are an adult with a lot of responsibilities and stop getting into trouble with your haste

Geet is puzzled by Maan’s sudden worries about her…

She thinks that it might be because of what happened at Amritsar, Maan must still be mad at her and wants to keep an eye on her….

Geet: it’s ok Maan, I’ll be more careful, I promise you that I won’t do anything to trouble you again

Maan: come with me

Maan asks Nakul to get juice for Dadima… .

Nakul brings juice for Dadima and for Maan as usual…

He doesn’t know that Geet is here and also she is not a fan of juices…

Geet: Nakul, mein Dadi ko lekhe jaathi hoon

Geet takes one glass and Maan takes the other…

When Geet tries to move, Maan stops her…

Geet: Maan, I won’t run with the juice in hand

Maan pulls her closer and gets the glass from her…

He then makes her sit and gives the glass back to her…

Geet looks at him confused..

Maan: pehle tum piyo Geet

Geet: but it’s for you

Maan: Geet, no arguments, just drink it, I don’t know how I would manage two kids when Mansi comes

Geet: Maan, I’m not a kid, don’t treat me like one, I hate this only, I know I’m a mother now

Maan is shocked to know that she knew about her pregnancy….

Geet was ready to give up their baby? What’s wrong with this girl? What kind of a mother is she?

Geet: I transformed from a girl into a mother the moment I saw Mansi, Maan I think you have no idea why I married you, it’s not just for us, it’s for Mansi as well

Maan then realizes that Geet was talking about Mansi…

Maan: I know Geet, that’s why you have to get trained to be a parent before our baby comes

Geet is scared that she might have made a fatal mistake by forcing this wedding on Maan…

Maan is trying to assure her time and again that she is not at fault for whatever is happening… Maan wants her to know that he too loves her as much as she loves him..

Maan wants her to realize that she has become an inevitable part of his life and she is his pillar of strength that holds him from breaking..

Maan turns and looks at her tummy… there is the gift of their love…

Maan puts his hand over her tummy and tries to feel the presence of their baby…

Geet senses his touch and she thinks that he is trying to cuddle..

Geet places her hand over his and puts it around her waist…

She herself turns towards him and moves closer to him…

She then puts her hands around him and tightens her hug…

Maan is scared that the baby would suffocate…

But it’s yet to get into the form…

Maan tries to move back a bit..

Maan slowly gets up and pretends to go to the loo..

Maan comes back and this time he goes and lies on the other side of the bed, hugging her from the back…

Geet is also happy to be sleeping under his arms…

Maan is making a bonding with his baby already by placing his fingers over the womb.. he is telling his baby that though Geet is not aware of the baby’s presence, he is here with his little bundle of joy to welcome…

Maan falls asleep happily with his extended family…

Next morning…

Geet is in the washroom…

Maan hears a loud noise and rushes to see that his baby is not hurt…

Its just normal that Geet does everything in a hurry and keeps dropping something or the other…

But Maan is unnecessarily scared as he only knows about her condition….

Maan enters the washroom to find Geet brushing, she has just dropped the toothpaste and everyone is fine…

Geet is puzzled to see Maan entering in a hurry…

Geet thinks that he must want to use the potty and she comes out leaving the room for him…

At breakfast…

Nakul has kept the papaya salad for Dadima…

It looks tempting…

Geet goes for a serving…

Maan stops her all of a sudden…

Maan: Geet, ye tum kya kar rahi ho?

Geet turns to him and looks at him confused…

Geet: Maan, I think we are here to have the breakfast

Maan: par tum ye nahi khayegi

Maan did need something to get over that pungent smell of papaya…

Dadi smiles looking at Geet complaining about Maan to her babaji…

Dadi: Geet, aap kisse baat kar rahe ho beta?

Geet: aur kisse baat kar sakti? Babaji se hi baat kar sakti na?

Dadi: kyun? Hum se baat kar sakte na?

Geet: aap se kehthi toh aap apne pothe ko hi support karenge, haina?

Dadi: hare, aaise kaise socha aapne? Hum aapke Dadima nahi hai kya?

Geet: toh aap hi bathao, aapka potha kahan chale gaye? Unko toh aap ke saath hona chahiye na? Patha nahi kahan gayab ho gaye?

Geet is tensed as Maan is not with her…. Aaise waqt pe mujhe akhele chodke jaathe hai kya? Dhust Danav, aane do unko

They come out and look for Maan…

He has not yet come…

Geet: dadi, hum car mein wait karte hai

Dadi: nahi Geet, let Maan come

Geet: aap ko bhi mujhpe viswas nahi hai?

Geet is disappointed… Maan has corrupted Dadi’s mind too…

Dadi smiles…

Dadi: aaisa kuch nahi hai bete, Maan asked us to wait here

Geet: teek hai Dadima, jaise aap chaho

They wait until Maan comes…

Maan: Dadi, what did the Dr say?

Geet: you should have been here if you are so concerned

Dadi: I’m better than ever

Maan: that’s good Dadi, I hope the same about everyone

Maan is looking at Geet… he wants her to come with him…

But Geet is not looking at him…

Dadi: Geet, aap Maan ke saath jayiye

Sab ke samne Maan aaisa karega? Geet feels insulted ..

Maan turns and stares her…

She then keeps her mouth shut…

They are at the maternity ward…

Geet now understands why Maan has taken her here…

He is worried about his baby…

Geet panics thinking about the baby…. She totally forgot about the baby after all the bomb scare and everything that followed….

Geet is little worried that she should have been more careful about the baby….

She prays that everything is fine with the baby….

The go to meet the Dr…

This is the first time Geet is meeting a Dr after she knew that she has conceived…

Geet is a little nervous….

Maan holds her hand to comfort her….

Dr asks Geet to come inside for examination…

Geet turns and looks at Maan scared….

Maan nods his head that she need not worry, everything is fine… she should go with the Dr to just confirm that…

Geet goes….

Maan waits anxiously…

Geet comes back with a smile…

Maan is happy only after seeing her smiles….

He need not wait for the Dr’s words to know that his family is safe and sound…

Dr: congrats Mr.Khurana, you baby is doing great, you shouldn’t be worrying like this, you know it will scare your wife unnecessarily, but she is a tough woman, this is a rare combination I’m witnessing in my career, I should say I’m impressed with Mrs. Khurana

Geet is sitting there amused by hearing someone praising her for a change…

But Geet knows the truth, she is so confident and carefree because she has Maan by her side…

Maan is still sticking to his maunvrat….

Dadi gets to be entertained at home itself….
