Geet starts thinking about the options available for her…
She can’t stay at KM, she has lost her job…
She can’t go back to Hoshiarpur… they will certainly send her back to Delhi….
She can’t go to Mumbai…
Dev has lost his mother as a child, his father remarried and from then on Dev lived in the hostel…
He is still living on his father’s pocket money..
He is staying in a room with four more boys… where will Geet go?
She never thought something like this would come… she didn’t think about Maan reacting like this…
If at all he had any problems he shouldn’t have married in the first place… .
She actually has never thought about her married life, even with Dev she is not ready for marriage..
Geet is a sapiosexual person, she is attracted by intelligent mind and not good looks or physique…
If only Maan knew he would have tried to impress her differently… but his persona as the MD of the huge firm KC, and his aura at the office has already started working their magic on Geet… that’s why she is more happy to work under him and takes pride in calling him her boss, or “Maan sir” to be precise…
Dev’s good looks is just an added advantage, what pulled her towards him is his academic excellence… his timing humour and nerd qualifications….
Dev fell for her beauty though… after failed attempts of an ordinaey Romeo, Dev switched tracks quickly and started praising her talents and highly ambitious nature inspite of coming from small town…. getting to know her he has slowly started using her weakness to his advantage… but still he is yet to advance in the romantic angle… Geet’s restrictions and her aversion to romance sort of makes Dev wanting to win her over romantically…
Dev was also ready to marry to fulfill his long time desires but Geet is determined that marriage is only after both of them settle in life…. Dev has to start earning and find a place of his own if at all they can even think about living together as Dev keeps insisting… He is ready to do anything to get her…
Geet thinks that she is smartly handling their relationship…
She is not that smart as she thinks or as Dev lies to her often…. Haina?
Dev keeps gifting her beautiful designer wears and tries hard to evoke her feminine side… But it has very little effect on Geet… Geet dresses up for his satisfaction occasionally when they meet…
Maybe he is not her prince charming… our Cinderella would respond to her actual Prince….
Nothing is working as per her plans…
She is just out of college and her dream is a successful career, she always thinks about herself as a boy….
Why should girls just marry a man and be his slave for life living under his protection, always be dependent on his support for everything, even her children?
She should have children only when she is ready to support them…
The make dominated society gets the girl married off at a vulnerable age when she is kept happy by the man, which results in children and she is then pushed to live that man, how evil he may be, for the sake of her children…
Geet believes in career, income and then marriage, the children….
Any man should also be thinking like that .. but most of the boys get married when they are still living in their parents income…. Benefits of joint family?
In her family also Brij, her jijaji all are landlords, they don’t have any job but roam about like they own the world, setting stupid out dated rules and getting pleasure in torturing the weak, specially women….
He can never fulfil even the simplest of her babhi’s wishes to go out to a SRK movie with him alone… he already has two kids… why should women live such a life?
She somewhere believes that women’s weakness is men, and Geet doesn’t believe in romance like others believe, she looks at Dev as a ticket to her dream future, he will work on his career while letting her bud her own… it will be mutual… no one is dependent on the other….
All thanks to her western influence, people work together, have equal sociel status, they fall in love with each other and marry… that’s why women have equal respect there… haina?
It might be more of a physical attraction for Dev, but Geet is sort of a tomboy… romance comes last, after career, after independence, after marriage, maybe for the sake of children…
She is a female version of Sheldon Cooper… romance is nature’s gift for the survival of the species…
That’s why she is not affected by staying with Maan and she won’t understand his feelings as a man…. For that matter even poor Dev is stilstruggling… according to her Maan is technically flawed already… he should have zero romantic quotient…
Now she has a problem, Maan wants her to go away… that’s fine… but she hasn’t thought of a plan B …
First she has to find a place to stay… then a job… she has luckily got enough balance in her account to survive for a few days…
Her family never gives any pocket money for even Brij… he has to ask Darji for his personal expenses everytime…
This is her savings from college that she was saving to join PG… just a mere 16,000 she could save… look at the pathetic condition of a poor young girl….
She can use her jewelry though for tough times…
But the Khuranas said strictly no dowry from the Handas .
All the jewelry Geet wore are from the Khurana khandan…

Sab Hoshiarpur mein hai… kanjoos Handas kept their jewelry safe with themselves…
They have so much trust in Geet…. She tried to elope with a few hundred rupees earlier, when a friend of hers gave her the idea to hire a room at the private hostel where she was staying, Geet was at that time kept under house arrest and not allowed to go to college and give her exams…. And that’s why all the problems….
She has only got the ring which is her Nani’s and she can’t sell it though….
Her family is too evil to deprive her of all her rights, right from financial rights…
So first financial independence…
Geet packs her bags and leaves KM at the early hours of the day…
As Geet has not come for breakfast everybody asks Maan about her…
Maan goes and finds her missing at the OH… fine that she has left….
But what will Maan tell Dadi?
Maan tells them that Geet has gone to see her friends in Chandigarh, at her college.. and he totally forgot about that…
Dadi is doubtful that Maan is lying…
Maan goes to KC….
But he is reminded of Geet, what to do for he has to stare at the empty desk right in front of him na?
What is this stupid girl upto?
If at all she wanted to go with her boyfriend then she wouldn’t have fought with Maan and come to Delhi ..
She must be somewhere here only… maybe a friend’s house, haina?
All is well… Maan keeps saying that to himself but he can’t stop worrying about Geet…
What has this stupid girl done to poor Maan?
Two days pass and Maan can’t concentrate on anything but Geet…
Maan has to ateast know that she is with Dev or a friend… otherwise he can’t get back his lost peace of mind…
Why should he bother about her?
He married her and he made the vows to protect her genuinely… maybe that is irking him…
Maan starts worrying about Geet seriously after there is no word from her after a week…
Dadi keeps asking about Geet… Dadi says her mobile is always out of network coverage…
Dadi threatens Maan to bring her bahu back soon…
Maan also tried calling her after Dadi complained… he is also getting the same response…
He is reminded of her social media activities…
He searches the net and finds that all her accounts are deactivated…
Geet has gone into hiding to escape from her family…
She knows Maan would send the news of her running away, probably to her boyfriend…
They will certainly start searching her… she thinks too much… she can easily become a script writer…

Should Maan declare everyone that she has gone back to Dev?
But Maan won’t come to any conclusions without concrete proof….
Maan is frustrated that he is not able to do anything…
