Sad i lost that comment that I typed right after reading the chapter... Let me try to recall what all I said on that
1. The not so warm welcome of geet... Well that's bound to happen, n there isn't one reason for it, wealth n power are two things that can create distance in any relationship n here the "saut" relation is already of the nature of competition n enimity. But what I dislike is here maan's mom too is disliking geet, reason being maan's interest in her,
2. Maan's Interest in her, well that's the interesting thing isn't it, initially it was just a curiosity to see her face, n own her (pun intended) but now in the process of knowing her he is realising that she is really something he has never seen before (I mean in quality sense, not physically)
3. About geets - her whole world changed in one moment, in short she made other compromise of her life for her state, well that is expected out of a girl all the time *rolling eyes*
But she does acknowledge that she has to accept this relationship with all the baggage it comes with n move on, whats use crying on spilled milk,... N her change in addressing her shows that.
And I wondered that he actually noticed that, not something expected out of a king 😆
4. I am expecting to see her interaction with maan's cheif wife (whatever u call it)
5. There is a valley of gap b/w their thoughts, but that Valley doesn't need to be filled, toegtehr they will be able to build a bridge and cross that gap!!
My thoughts only
6. I was recommending u to read the book "the twentieth wife" n "a feast of roses" it's a historical fiction, jahangir-nurjahan love story to be precise.
Hash... All points covered,
Though I feel like I just wrote an answer more than a comment 😆
And since it is so long, I am going to capitalise on it,
Just consider it a compensation for all the times I was silent reader, n after that a few times wen I forgot to comment, though I don't think that happened😳
