Dil Ne Jise Apna Kaha
~Part 3~
At 4 pm in the evening , geet reached home , rang bell and seema (mahi caretaker) opened door . She asked her about mahi who told her that mahi is sleeping and she told seema to leave . She silently walked to room not wanting to disturb mahi . On seeing mahi sleeping peacefully with pillows on her both sides to avoid her slipping from bed . Geet put her bag on table , took clothes from almirah and tip toed to washroom .
After freshing up , geet too laid beside mahi pulling her in her arms , kissed on her cheeks and closed her eyes taking a small nap . An hour later geet woke up feeling small fingers running on her cheeks indicating about mahi being woken up and busy doing her fav work playing with geet cheeks . Geet opened her eyes and smiled seeing mahi who was giving her a sweet smile .
"ho gayi mere baby ke neeni puri" said geet pulling mahi in her lap...
Mahi gave geet smile rubbing her eyes instead of answer clearly indicating that right now she needs milk . Yes this is our geet's baby different from other babies . Most of the babies rubbed their eyes when they woke up from sleep or wants to sleep but mahi rubbed her eyes when she is hungry.
Geet walked towards kitchen with mahi in her arms , boiled milk , feed her and then changed her clothes , took her bag and exited from home towards park . This is geet and mahi daily routine after coming from school geet always send seema home , take a nap if mahi sleeping and took her to park.
On reaching park , mahi started wriggling out of geet arms seeing children playing . Geet put her on ground , hold her hand and walked towards bench . After spending time with mahi in park , playing by ball with mahi , giving her rides on various swings geet and mahi came back home...

Night took over khurana mansion as maan enter with a smile on his lips . It looks like he was lost in someone thoughts as he tripped over carpet but balanced himself giving a smack on his head . He staighten himself not wanting to grab his family attention towards himself .
The sight greeted him burned him to the core . There sat crying naintara on her kness in front of dev with joined hands like requesting something . Maan can tolerate anything but if somebody make naina or pari cry he will burn that person without even once thinking . Pari is his baby sister whom he had taken care more than his parents and naina was also their with him from childhood as naina parents and maan parents were friends . She always used to say him veerji from childhood , always tailing behind him for small small and maan loves her like his sister..
"dev" roared maan seeing dev sitting so cooly as if nothing bothering him..
Dev look upwards hearing his name loudly from maan . On seeing maan , naina run towards him and hugged maan sideways and started crying loudly...
"dev beta tu aaj gaya..ab koi nahi bacha sakta tujhe dadimaa aur pari ghar nahi hai aur naina aaj saara badla lene wali hai" mumbled dev knowing today nobody can save him..
Maan patted naina's back , wipped her tears and asked her "what happened naina baby?"
Naina spoke sniffing "veerji aaj na shimla se maasi ka phone aaya tha aur wo mujhe aur dev ko bula rahi thi aur maine jab dev se kaha toh unhone mujhe daata aur kaha mere paise free ke nahi hai jo tumhare gharwalo par barbaad karo aur isliye hum unke samne neeche (stressed this word) baith ke msna rahe the" and winked towards dev and thought "bahut dino se mujhe taunt kas rahe the aaj dheko kya hota"...She very well knows that maan can't tolerate tears in her eyes and this is the best moment make dev scold from maan...
Dev glared naina seeing her winking at him but wrong move as maan saw dev glaring naina and missed naina winking...
