@Nandita, I dont know if you've been in a relationship that stems from insecurity and jealousy, but one thing I will say is that insecurity leads to that only and then possessiveness starts! I've just seen a friend go thru this, so I know first hand! These three words are like glue, they stem from each other! Im not saying that MSK might be this way, but most of the time in life this is reality!

MSK is possessive, insecure he is, its proven a few times too! jealous he can get too!

Well dear every person sure does talk/writes by his/her experience only,
so sure I speak with my little experience & at the risk of sounding repetitive - to me these three words are as connected as day & night...not day & light.

Speaking for myself , Maan is only possessive about Geet & apprehensive about the Dev & his presence in their life. Both going by 'dictionary' & situation we speaking of I don't find him jealous nor insecure.

geet told maan in the bazaar that she forgave dev only because of him...because she wants to start a new life with him...so maan now thinks that for him geet has forced herself to forgive dev...he thinks geet still feels the same pain wenever she is with dev but only for his sake she behaves normally...

so maan hates to see geet with dev and because today geet is so angry with him...he cannot explain that to her...so the only thing he did was to move his hand from her....this gesture was to let her know that he has still not accepted geet's act of forgiving dev...
