The original CHARM is no more....Chemistry or no chemistry..its getting boring now. I have detached myself from the show a lot....I do not watch it like i used to...now its strictly for time pass....and if I am busy, then I just wait to watch it when I can.

Shivu, the old team had a comparatively safer path to tread i.e pre-confession phase but maintaining that consistency of the characters with new tracks definitely requires creativity and thinking process. Even the 6-day schedule thus making it even more difficult to pen down each and every character keeping consistency in mind. Like every MU that they had, should have been kept thinking how each character would have reacted so that the audience could relate with them.

But yes, Geet, the character after marriage has been behaving in a very obnoxious way. She would even do nok-jhoks during office days, but that time it looked cute and adorable. Now, it looks irksome.

And if she is hurt and depressed, I'd have liked if she takes matter in her own hands and proves that she has self-respect by taking up studies. That can be another good track if explored and something new and never seen before in television as well. But all she's shown is teary and weepy. Or making aloo parathas in the kitchen.

What audience did not like was focussed more, for eg; AA track. What we want like Tej-Pammi budding of romance or Adi-Pinky love angle is never paid heed to. There are many ways to focus shift from Maneet and yet make them the centre of focus in every episode. I hope the new writers realize that soon. 😊 This show's USP is Maneet and their journey together so plz never butcher with either of the two.

the people who were with the show since starting ,who created magic,love ,dream all went away and then came the phase of entries n exits none took pain to understand the essence of ghsp they all superficially doing their job and going home ,maan-geet -best jodi in ever and see they are unable to use their potential when some serials are creating history using xpressionless faces hai na kamaal ki baat.

i saw new name in script writing and same day geet called maan gunahgaar it made me think that might be new one thinking maan raped geet and dev the god saved her koi bharosha nahi hai 😆

the exponential rate at with the show is deteriorating I wouldn't be surprised sanjh! It's a tragedy in its true form!!

shreya-👏....i agree its easy to develop confession track rather post confession, where character consistency is really difficult to maintained.

but for me this track is far better than AA but.... i totally agree with topic maker in following points

1. geet character 180 degree change....but i think that was due to develop particular track which we have to wait and see ...track is still 3 weeks old😆

2. deviating from social message which is the usp of the show....cvs should have shown geet continuing studies besides living in beeji house

3. most important dev ka track...speciallydev as msk is a grave mistake...i message one of the writers his reply was dev ka track is channel decision...and we writers are just following it😕.

suggestions:

1. despite maan humiliation and all this it would be better if they show fun track instead ..like some punjabi occasion or lucky shaadi with all hungama and maaneet romance😳

2. lucjky or tej pammi track instead dev ka love track which will ruin this show

finally to TM ..........geet words in last precap is to lead some important sequence and that will be fun to watch...lets see

Awesome post Shive.

As a viewer and as a woman Geet Hui Sabsey Parayi appealed to me not coz of any actor to begin with.
It had me waiting since the promo promised to give us glimpse into the life of this innocent girl who is to be wedded far from home & her fears, hopes & anticipation were hinted clearly as was the alarm of her future in this bond.

Though a piece of fiction it held its root in 'reality', it was truly inspired from life, from the plight that girls, woman suffered in the name of 'parampara', 'honor killing', 'forced marriage or marriage were the bride's opinion was not counted','NRI wedding' , 'rape under the pretense of marriage', 'unwed motherhood', 'fight for justice'........the list continues that had our undivided attention to the the series, its uniqueness.

Soon that got shadowed with romance taking the front seat. But it still was there.

But with the Baby that was a symbol of a woman's fight & victory against the society gone ... followed by the death of the very cause that had us cry for Geet, with Dev earning forgiveness for nothing & a victim showed to celebrate & acknowledge the sinner.
But very foundation got damaged beyond repair when a woman went ahead to prove that she can forgive a criminal, a sinner but not her savior for his one small mistake. And this she discussed with the same man who ruined her life.
Now we are witness to a wife's blindness towards her man's humiliation & soon her sinner to land up in guise of her husband.

Moved away from topic but its an attempt to show what I found in it before & lost in it now.

Guess this is because audience are same but not the creative body, hence the new parents are unable to tend & understand their adopted ones, result assassination of character, pathetic storyline & sick thought process.
