The only way Geet can prove what Dev did to her is through the baby. It is her word against Naintara and Dev's—we saw that at the cop station tonight. My guess is that the script and director don't want Dev and Naintara to be in jail right now and want Naintara to torment Geet some more. Dev will have to shut up because of Mann's accident and Naintara will brush all these revelations under the carpet saying Geet was lying.

Geet will leave town or get a parallel track, and she will think Mann betrayed her and she will meet this other guy meanwhile. Maybe as her new boss?

Mann will recover and then wonder where Geet went… and will slowly discover the truth on his own. And then he will take revenge on her behalf .

Or Mann will not find out the truth right now. Mann and Geet will meet accidently with each believing the other betrayed them. And the new guy being there causing more misunderstandings. I think Meera will reveal the truth to Mann eventually.

But the baby has to go else proof against Dev will stay.
