No, i don't think this was the original track that they were supposed to go with because, think about it, the day before we heard the news about GC falling ill we saw a precap for the Maula mer Maula sequence and she wasn't wearing any jewelry. And remember in the episode the girls take off the jewelry to put on 'better' ones. So I think in the original track she was supposed to run to Maan and tell him instead of running out the house and leaving the party. So I think the track got changed after these two got sick and if they stuck with the original track it woulda been way different, I think.

The confusion only will start with geet not able to go to Maan..

For this week there will be bo union of Geet and Maan. She might not meet him at the hospital due to some unusual circumstances. Jay - the new entry will be a Doctor - I guess....and he will help Geet to send Dev and NT to jail....

I guess Dev and NT will be in jail by this Friday. Maan after coming back from hopital might feel that Geet did this to his brother without even telling him that Dev was the culprit. He might misunderstand her till Geet tells him that she thought he has left her and so she herself went out to seek justice. So, I guess in a week or two Maaneet should be together.

Ok, a very important point- Only identical twins have the same DNA. Siblings from the same parents have about 50% of their DNA in common. There is no way Dev and Maan have the same DNA. Also, while on the topic, she'll need a sample of Dev's DNA like his hair for comparison, to confirm the fetus is his child. But i guess it's ok to grant them some artistic liberty and justify her running off to the hospital to get the test done. :)

Yeah that's true and since Maan and Dev are half brothers, they would share much less percentage of DNA only. And they cannot get the fetal DNA so easily. Amniocentesis has its own risk of miscarriage. They may have to wait till the baby is born and this is where NT might try for Geet's miscarriage.

i think all the hints at the beginning of the show, like geet asking for the agent's no, the dev's phone no written paper etc... were shown so that maan can follow up and get to know the real truth by himself...meera might drop a hint asking maan to go into the reason why geet opted out of engagement by going into her past and maan might take it from there...otherwise why were those scenes shown...the plot could have been sold to somebody else....that is real proof geet has, where dev and nt sold her property to the agent and unfortunately geet cannot go to hoshiarpur and bcos i dont think dev will agree to his dna test to be matched with the baby's...or is all the dna thing just to get maan and geet together in the hospital, if so nobody would be happier than me...
but in all this, gc pls take good care of ur health....pls dont get things go out of hand with ur health...be perfectly fit and fine and then only start shooting...we manniacs can wait for sometime to see u and geet together, ur health comes first....
