i was going through femina old issue of march or april (really not sure which issue ). i came across the same true story of geet . it happened in afghanistan two years back. a muslim girl who was working as nurse in hospital where an indian hindudoctor was been sent by indian goverments as a aided doctor. at first their relation was more formal.suddenly , he became interested in her started proposing her but girl clearly denied the relationship . he went to her parents asked her hands for marriage. at first.her parents said no becoz of religions but he came back again and said i have changed my religion as i love her very much plz marry her with me. her parents gave away and made their daughter to believe what he was saying and did the marriage with him in grand scale. just after 15 days,he said her to her goverment is calling back . iwill go to india and will come back with permanent visa. he just left her in lurch and went away. after 15 days their was no call from him .ultimately she got the new number from another indian doctor and contacted him . he just said that "I AM SORRY" I AM ALREADY MARRIED AND I CANNOT COME BACK AND YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL YOU WILL DEFINETLY GOING TO GET GOOD COMPANION IN YOUR LIFE"she was shocked after hearing she could not say to her parents as they were ailing and to their relatives she was lying that he was not getting visa and used to buy indian gifts showing that he had sent for her. one fine day , she had taken desicion and could trace the adrress where he was working in army hospital near delhi. she brought her mother for treatment in india and confronted to him in that hospital. he was shocked totally denied to accept her. she confronted to her wife also and she got shock of her life when she found that she knew about this marriage asked her leave. and to her pain that idiot was also fatther of two children .she sent her mother back to afghanisten and met embassy people and few ngo and filed a case on him for bigamy. she is still in delhi started persuing her studies in law and waiting for the judgement. " SHE IS CONFIDENT AND SAID THAT I HAVE FULL FAITH IN INDIAN JUDICIAL SYSTEM DEFINETLY IT IS GOING TO BE EYE OPENER FOR THOSE bas***dS THOSE WHO PLAY WITH INNOCENT LIFE FOR THEIR LUST, MONEY " SHE WANTED TO BECOME A LAWYER AND WANTED TO HELP THOSE INNOCENT GIRLS WHO ARE VICTIM OF LUST AND CRUEL PEOPLE" i just wanted to share this with you all and wanted to say that what geet is doing is right. and sincerly pray to god that girl should get the fair judgement should become independent and a man like maan should come her in life accepting her past and make her to believe in love which she must have lost the faith in.
