I know this trip to India was taken as it was a crucial thing in my Life, and still more important coz the exam I had to clear was one big time Hurdle as far as my career was concerned.
In spite of Knowing it was a mere 5 days(Which extended up to 9)'..I cant tell you how terribly I missed the Show-GHSP'.Maaneet-A Jodi with whom I am deeply in love with, The 3 Idiot Thread, The Geet Forum with all its amazing Topics and Discussion and Last but never the Least all my friends.
Since The Idiot Thread Started there hasn't been a single day/time when I have been away from it'.Nags, Pu, Nihu, Nandu, Vrush, Rev, Ani, Nups, Dols, Jes, Imu, Lavz, Vinu'.and all the others have become such an important Part of My Life that I felt as though the Life inside me was sucked out from me'..I existed but merely Lifeless'..
I missed Making Topics, VM'S, Reports and what not for all of you Guys at the Forum.
I was staying as PG and there was no TV there''How do I watch the show???'Not a Chance'I came to deal with it ki there was no way I could see GHSP for that One Week from 20th-24th September'.I had no Access to Internet and Hence IF'..
I knew that I could not see My Fav Jodi-Maaneet, Or the Guy who manages to make my heart beat skip a few beats every time he comes across the Screen-Gurmeet through his portrayal of Maan Singh Khurana'' in the coming 5 days'..I had made up my mind'..I had convinced my self saying "Viji its Just 5 days'.uske baad toh you can see the show how many ever times you want" I even tried saying ki "Concentrate on your studies and Maaneet toh waise will always be there"'.
But it looked as if the entire universe was conspiring against me, Ki they wont let Maan or Maaneet's thoughts out of my head and hart for even-1 Sec. I tried to the best of my patience to not think of the show or anything related to it'..
From 19th to 26th September
I reach Delhi and call Niha (honeydew) well she does not pick up my calls but imagine what the Caller tune was that greeted me "Pee Loon tere neele neele"'.my heart skipped a beat and there goes my mind to Maaneet Land'.How can one not think of Maaneet when the song is "Pee Loon"'.when I regained my composure I kept Maaneet aside and Dug myself into the Books'.after some time when the studies became a bit too Heavy, I thought of taking a break and in the process my eyes fell on the News Paper and lo what do I get an article regarding the Television stars and the First Pic Being Gurmeet aka Maan'.There goes my weak heart again'all fluttering seeing this Guy (I will post the article soon)'.I check the date and realize that the newspaper was dated way back to august'.but I was surprised how this New paper found its way to me when actually that day's news paper was there right by its side'..
With the hopes ki today I won't be reminded much of Maaneet ya Maan or anything to do with the show'.Surprisingly the morning went just fine and I was really happy at my accomplishment when everything takes me back to Square 1 at Lunch'I ORDER FOR Paneer Parantha'..and the waiter Goes" Sorry Mdam Ji Paneer Parantha nahi hai'..Lanche Parantha le aaoon" I mouth just dropped wide open and I was like KYA??? The moment the Guy uttered Lanche Parantha I was drifted back to the Dhaba Seq'..and once again there goes my thoughts, mind and heart back to "La La Land"
I finish my Lunch and walk out of the restaurant my head filled with thoughts of Maaneet'.and this flower Vendor comes to me and asks "Madam Orchids doon'.Bahuth ache hai aur Fresh bhi Hai Madam'." I was shocked but some how got myself to say "No!!! Thank you" when he intervenes again saying toh Gulab Le lijiye'.Pointing to a Bunch of White Roses'I just could not understand what was happening and I fled from there'..The moment the Guy Uttered Orchids all I could think was Maan Saying Orchids to Geet for the Decor of the Party'..and white roses reminded me of how his Face fell when Geet threw the Rose into the Dustbin'..I thought to my self "Am I Going Crazy ya Phir yeh sab sach much ho raha hai???"
Time flew I could distract my self from Maan/Maaneet Once again but not entirely how could I when so much was happening around me'.At 1:00 am tune into Fever 104 FM (Radio) and the Show that was on Air was" From Russia with Love"'.the RJ was talking on Russia '.it was actually an Insight on Russia'.It was not so Interesting as she was talking about the geographical stuffs and so I decided to tune into another FM Station'.But before I could do so'..She utters the word "JwalaMukhi"'.I stopped and listened to what she was saying'..she was Giving an insight on some Volcano (Sorry Don't Remember the name, it starts with "V' though")'ab Mere liye JwalaMukhi can be associated with only one person '..And you guys know who''I control my feelings and say " Nahi Viji Don't Think too much'.Just read your Notes and change that Damn FM Station'.."'
I tune it to 98.30 and lo K.S Chitra was crooning in her Melodious voice "Kehna Hi Kya Yeh Nain Ek Anjaan Se Jo Miley"'.I look above and you wont believe it'.I say "Babaji Yeh Kya Ho Rha Hai Mere Saath???" How can I ever forget this song or scene 'The JA scene which was my Suggestion on the wish List of Scenes to be showcased on Maaneet in the Out House"
A new Day a new beginning'Aaj Toh 100% Maneet/Maan/GHSP ke Baare Mein Nahi Sochoongi chah Kuch Bhi Ho Jaaye'.It was not that I did not want to think about them'.or the show but the more I thought I was getting more and more restless'.I took complete precaution and you wouldn't believe it I even vowed not to listen to the radio for the net 2 days'..Then comes my friend like a Devil in disguise and asks me "Viji do you know when movie this song is from and put the head set of her I-Pod on to my ears"'Thud Thud Thud'.there goes all my will Power in to the Drain as Teri Deewani escapes the Earphones and sinks into my ears, aur mere raunghte khade ho gaye'Stillness took over me and my friend had to shake me to bring me back to reality'.She was like "Viji what happened are you alright?" and I am like(In my head) " Damn it of course I am not alright"'I managed to say I am Fine and she asks me which Movie and I was like "Geet-Hui Sab Se Parayi"'.she goes'"You know what I love this song it has a soul of its own in it"'.I shake my head in agreement when at the back of My head all I could think was about The Dargah Sequence.
That's It!!!!!! Anxiety and Curiosity was Getting the Better of me, and Guys you have no Idea how Profusely I thanked God and asked him to Bless those who were the Master Minds behind Creating GPRS'..A medium to connect to the Internet even through a mere Mobile'."Long Live The Team who worked behind the invention of GPRS" at last even if I could not watch the show I could know what was happening through IF'..
For the first time I read the update for 20th sept and the rest for the show through my Mob'.Well it did not help much coz the craving for seeing the show just increased by volumes'.but kya kare????
After reading the Update I just recapped all that happened to me since I left for delhi and I could not help but smile with surprise that not even for a second my thoughts were free of Maaneet'.
Looks like the show has something special and Magical that it Binds you in such a way that where ever you go you will never be able to stop thinking bout it even for seconds'.Something divine that it always leaves a smile of contentment every time you think about it'..
I love this Show,Maaneet and Maan'..and I am bonded with it for life.
