i agree with all the points but tell me only one thing...that once baby is born and they all are living happily together and then dev steps in and picks up the child from maan's lap and says geet darling iski aankhen tum par gayi hai aur honth mujh par....mera pyara beta...tab woh sab dekh kar kya bahut achcha lagega...aur phir jab wohi bachcha bada hoga tab use kya bolenge ki tumhare chachaji tumhare papaji hai aur tumhare papaji bus naam ke papaji hai...pls if u clarify this doubt i'll be a convert...my reason of not wanting the baby is not that it is dev's son...but it is dev who will interfere in their lives and maybe for her son's sake geet leaves maan as she has already saud that pahle bachcha hai phir kiuch ahur... i hopecv's do whatever they have planned for cos it is their story and we can't telll them to change the story...but if this happens....i'll move on to another show...anyways it is just a show and if u don't like it u can stop watchin it...fine...hope somebody has a plausible answer to my query
u hv a very valid point there....and i guess u r viewing the whole matter in the most practical way....the baby is still unborn now and therefore the reality hasnt struck us yet....neither maan nor dev knows about its existence.....so its very easy to discuss whether maan will accept it or not.....
that maan will accept i hv no doubt....but yes life wud hv been much easier if maan and dev were not brothers....seeing the child grow up everyday....dev will naturally be bonded towards it even if he doesnt accept now....after all dev is the father and it will actually be unreal if he doesnt develop any attachment for the child in the future....
but....believe me it happens in real life too....here the mother must be sure of what she wants for her child.....if maan gives all his love to the child....if he accepts the child unconditionally and with true affection of a father.....if he does all his fatherly duties....then dev can never create any prob....also i think in these cases the child shud be told at very early age the entire truth....he shud grow up knowing that even if dev is his father by blood....it is maan who is actually father figure....
giving birth is no big issue....but accepting another's child and never once letting him feel so....i guess that is the actual parent....
i know wat i just wrote is based on emotional POV....but this is life.....relations r bonded by emotions.....once the child knows what father's love is....he will know that it is maan and not dev....dev who left his mom one day after a fake marriage....dev who never looked back to see how geet is....dev who is only greedy for money...on the other hand it is maan who loved and cared for geet wen she was hving the worst period of her life....it is maan who has given him father's name and respect in society....the child will know then who is his real father....
dev can create prob only if geet or the child is unsure of maan's devotion.....and if that hapens then i guess maan will be better off without geet and her child....
i know this topic is very controversial and i will hv some ppl agreeing and some not....but my main point is that i personally believe that love, care, loyalty, devotion in a relationship is irreplacable...blood relation has no value there.....if maan fulfills all this then he is the real father....NOT DEV....
