Well, I trust the celebs as long as what they say sounds true or doable for me, within the limits of my personal tastes :p
I'll write down what I do for my 'beauty' care, it may not be working for everyone, but read it and try it if you like because whatever I try has worked I think and are 100% natural and have minimal/zero preparation procedures..
HAIR CARE
Coconut milk
Okay, this one involves a little procedure.. 😳 ..
1. Grate a coconut, as much amount as you desire because you can store this in a refrigerator for many days and use it for next time. But remember to store this milk in a glass container.
2. Soak the grated coconut in hot water, for 20-30 minutes - depends on your time/patience/schedules etc
3. Strain the 'milk' using a strainer or muslin cloth.
4. Apply the 'milk' to your hair from scalp to hair ends.
5. Leave it on for 20-40 minutes - depening on your mood/time/patience.
6. Wash your hair as usual with (preferably a mild) shampoo.
Kunkudkai -- IDK what this is called in hindi or english.. They're available in market. I wash my hair with it, it's a natural shampoo.
I alternate between coconut milk and kunkudkai and just shampooing - depends on my mood.
Essential oils --- I'm new to this, for starters, I've bought a cheap Rosemary Essential Oil and since it requires a 'carrier oil', I use it with olive oil. Oil my hair at night before I wash my hair with kunkudkai or shampoo. The smell of Rosemary is so relaxing so that's anyway a plus point.
IDK if I am seeing an improvement.. it has certainly improved, my hair but somehow I am unable to point my finger as to what about my haircare regimen has shown results.
Brush/comb your hair regularly. Atleast 2 times daily.
Sometimes, when you are in mood, you can run your fingers through hair and massage it - without any oil, just some massaging action will help... it feels relaxing anyway, whether it promotes hair growth or not!
SKIN CARE
1. Apply any fruit you can get your hands on. I'm seeerious! No procedures needed! Just apply the juice or pulp or mash it up and apply onto your face. Leave it for 20-40 minutes, and wash it off only with water. Do not apply soap or facewash immediately.
Notable mentions -- papaya, muskmelon, banana, black grapes, tomato, Kiwi. You can mix honey with any of these fruits(except tomato :/ )and apply or just apply them as they are
2. Okay, this is little weird but I drink chamomile tea, and I use the tea powder in the used teabags as a scrub :|
3. Since I regularly use coconut milk, I also use the grated coconut left over after straining the milk on my face... this one yields magical results for me :)
4. STEAM. Steam your face once a week.
And, some basics, must do's -
1. Sleep well - manage to get 7-8 hours sleep.
2. Drink water. 2-3 lts everyday
3. As cliche as it sounds - be happy, be at peace with self and life, try to lead a stress-free life. Stress , in this age and times is unavoidable, but a good healthy approach towards life would help immensely.
4. Stay physically active all through the day, apart from 1 hour of physical exercise everyday.
5. Eat well yaar, we've been studying since 4th class about 'balanced' diet and all that - eat all sorts of healthy food.
Okay I'm done ☺️ Whatever I've written here is only based on what I do so take it with a grain of salt :p
Have a healthy and beautiful life forumwasiyoo 😃
