As they saw the delicious breakfast in the thalis, their hunger quadrapeld and after washing their hands started to eat voraciously.
Once their hunger satiated, Rajveer prepared tea and offered a cup to Naina. They were mow sitting silently after their morning sojourn, maybe both of them trying to grasp - "What next?". It was a crucial moment for the lovers. Marriage, or no marriage, they knew that from that point onwards their future lives were linked with each other, that they had become one.
Naina quietly sipped her tea sitting on the rickety chair. Rajveer was sitting on the threshold of the door with one of his legs spread outside the door.
"Naina , you must return to KMA." , it came as bombshell.
Naina stopped drinking the tea, but she looked straight in front of her, perhaps trying to visualize the future life in KMA without Rajveer. She only envisioned darkness in front of her.
"Tum sun rahe ho na, you must return to KMA." Rajveer got up , put down his his teacup on the table, stepped towards Naina and put his hands on her shoulders.
"This will be a long war and we must get all the supports we can, we must clean our administration of these thugs and filthy terrorists. You must go back to KMA and convince all other cadets to take part in this fight."
Rajveers eye shone bright with patriotism and revenge.
"But your ammuniation, guns .............." Naina wanted to hold the last straw to save herself from her Rajveer-less life of future.
"Arre , of course tomorow's mission has to be completed." Rajveer pulled NAina closer to him and softly caressed her hair, taking two strands between his fingers. "But after that you must leave. Their will be a chain of command from Me to Chaube via KMA . "
Naina looked up at him and smiled . She loved the idea of always being in touch with him. She loved the way he was looking at her. She loved his twinkling eyes, she loved his determination to unravel the mystery.
She loved him.
