"Satisfied?" she quizzed

They realized they were having a “moment” then, as his tongue swept up the taste of her slowly, and savored the berry flavored lipstick/gloss

He swept his lower lip again with his upper lip longingly to find more

He sighed and stood motionless

“No actually.. I am not” he exhaled

She knew what ever else was wrong between them, sexually they were going to be explosive

He had just returned to India and was semi? Dating? Shyamal

She was reminded of how his hand cupped her curves softly as it swayed forward in her skimpy bikini, it filled and overflowed out of his palm, he had leaned forward to brush his chest against the swollen tips

She was inches from leaning on him

The butterfly with sequins on her chest were straining, and pushing forward, her knees trembled with the effort of standing straight, searching for the pleasure her body knew his hands could give her

They were leaning on the wall by the front door, out of sight from Dhru at this moment but it would take him seconds to fly out and find his mother hungrily offering herself up to this “Atty” man, she wanted to feel his shirt, wear it later, sink into him deeper and deeper, envelop him, be enveloped by him

If her memory served her right, Aatreya was hot and hard, she swallowed and groaned

“I was making a point”

She whispered weakly, covering her mouth nervously with her sweaty palms

“I don’t get the drift” he whispered

He was studying how their bodies were moving in tandem, taunting and enticing each other

“Ughh… Aatreya, I do…”

“It took you 4 f-----g months to say my name”

“Stop flirting”

“U are full of accusations and orders aren’t u?” he whispered softly

“U are dating someone I shouldn’t have kissed u, you shouldn’t have enjoyed it”

“There we go: he laughed heartily

“Think about it! If you were dating me and I found out you kissed someone I would…” she stopped

“Mess her up?” he was gasping mirthfully

She turned red

“Somewhat”

They were so close to each other their bodies radiated enough heat to light a freaking stove she thought

He was being charming and laughing at her stupid jokes

“Am I allowed to tell Lynn you know how to date and proposition men and make the first move?” he muttered

“No” she whispered

He admired her refusal to give him even that tiny victory

“Got it”

“I will go now”

“I can fix dinner quick” he could not hide the plea

“Its late”

It was a whole lot of awkward between them now

She needed to get away

“What did you win?”

He wanted to prolong the “by the wall” chat

“I don’t know I put it in my trunk”

“Text me”

“You probably know” she said with a wistful look

“Why?”

“Because there was a card on the box that read “Best wishes from Aatreya Rao”

“Ah.. um that came from the company that managed the event, they don’t tell me anything”

“Did u give a speech?”

He laughed shaking his head vigorously

“Why not?”

“Its not about me, its about the team having a good time”

“Are u a laid back boss?”

He grinned… and cleared his throat

She got the drift this time he had removed the “BACK” word from her question

“I meant”

“I get it”

“Sheesh” her turn to shake her head

“Juvenile?”

“Very” she broke a smile

“I don’t know I plan to have my team over for dinner, u shud stop by”

“I have a terrible boss, so I will hate it” she nodded

“I can coach him”

“”Nah… no use”

“Find a another job I am sure u can find one easily

“I am sure its whether I WANT IT or not” she revealed her dislike of being a working woman in a cagey way

“Yeah u need to figure that out huh?” he was kind

“If I don’t feed him and let him play video games or read anime he will not bother me at all” she exclaimed in shock

He groaned, and nodded realizing she might have to go

She was facing Dhru’s door

“DHRU Chala” she growled

“You sound like a man” he yelled

The couple laughed out loud, enjoying their son’s antics together for the first time of his 10 year life

“I probably do” she whispered and cleared her throat to get rid of the frog multiple times

“Ur voice was a big hit this evening” he smiled

“Not sure where he heard me I was there barely 15 minutes”

“Oh did u get there after the “Guess the song?” game?”

“I think so” she looked confused

“People were wandering, he must have wandered by you”

“At least someone agrees with me” she smiled

“I was the first one to” he was jealous

“NO U said Is that so?” she argued

“U remember?”

Dhru walked out dragging two heavy back packs

“what are u bringing?” she was shocked

She kneeled down spent 20 minutes sorting thru, declining refusing and and admonishing him

Aatreya went off to fix dinner, she heard the cooker

She looked at the kitchen, he had music on and was busy chopping something

He was indeed centered, emotionally healthy and happy

For a brief second she was angry for what life had meted out to her

Uncared for, unloved and in therapy for 10 years now

She found herself tearing up

She hugged and kissed her son and emotionally on both cheeks

“I am not going to the space station” he rolled his eyes

She laughed out loud

They held hands said good bye and left

He walked them to the door and waited until they got on the elevator

A lot changed between them just now. There is a new level of comfort, a little more openness.

What's his equation with Shy? They went out a couple of times. Does he think he is dating her?

I guess he never was serious about Shy.

He just went out with her couple of time and now she is out of equation.

He was and is smitten by Mrunalini. Only when he though he didn't have a chance with her he went on to date Shy.

He should let both the ladies know about his real feeling though.

One needs to know so that she doesn't get hurt later. Other he should tell so that she stops hurting that there is no one apart from Dhru who cares for her.

“No actually.. I am not” he exhaled

So what are you going to do about it?

“I am not going to the space station” he rolled his eyes
