Raavi stormed into the room. Shiva was already waiting for her. She picked up a stick which she found lying on the ground and started hitting him. Shiva burst out laughing.

“Main chipkali, pagal, demanding, high maintenance, gadheri?” She shouted.

“Gossip queen bhi.” Shiva laughed.

“Woh pro list mein jaati hai. Tujhe jab jiski bhi information chahiye hogi main nikal dungi.” Raavi said.

“Iss baat pe tu bilkul uss maami par gayi hai. Dusro ki life mein zyada interest hai.” Shiva said. “Raavi bani jasoos wala khel bandh kar de.”

“Kabhi bhi nahi!” Raavi said. “Aur tune mujhe high maintenance kaise kaha?”

“Tu bohot high maintenance hai.” Shiva said. “Yeh 5 dino mein tune jitna kharcha karwaya hai woh mere 2 mahina ka kharcha hai.”

“Aur bhi karaungi.” Raavi stuck her tongue out. “Waise teri pro list thik thak hai.”

Shiva saw his opportunity and pulled her closer. “Pro list perfect hai.”

“Yeh last point likhte hue sharam nahi aayi? Aur tu mujhe tharki bolta hai.” Raavi blushed.

“Jab se tujhe date kar raha hu, tabse har din do baar toh cold shower lena padta hai.”

“Aur engagement ke baad nahi leni paregi?” Raavi asked.

“Aisa koi iraada nahi hai mera. Tu hogi na mere paas.”

Raavi tried to push him away but he held her closer. Her feelings were all bubbling up again. Damn them! Shiva leaned very close to her neck and inhaled her scent.

“Shiva tu meri dress aur mera makeup kharab kar dega.” Raavi said.

Shiva kept his finger on her lips to shut her up. He didn’t care about her dress or her makeup. He didn’t even care about this engagement. He just wanted her close to her. The only thing he realised in these five days was that he loved having her company, and he loved it even more when she was in his arms.

He kissed her palm softly. His kisses moved up her wrist and Raavi was losing it. He was being so gentle yet those kisses brought such an intense reaction within her. She pulled her hand away and stepped away from him.

“Pehle tu apne dil ki baat bol.”

“Dikha toh raha hu.”

“Nahi. Bolna parega.” Raavi said.

“Raavi,” Shiva held her hand. “Inn 5 dino mein, tune meri neend, mera chain sab cheen liya. Mere family ke samne mujhe Romeo bana diya, mujhe driver aur naukar dono bana diye, mujhe kitno ki gossip bhi suna di. Phir bhi main tere saath engagement kar raha hu na? Aur kya sunna chahti hai?”

“I love you Raavi.”

Shiva rolled his eyes, but Raavi knew exactly how to make him say it.

She put her arms around his neck and kissed him on the corner of his lips. Shiva quickly pulled her closer and slammed his lips against her. She kissed him back with equal fervour. When they pulled apart to breathe, Raavi smirked.

“Agar cold shower nahi lena toh I love you Raavi bol. Warna cold shower leke khush rehna.”

Shiva pulled her closer and hugged her. “I love you Raavi.”

“I love you too.” Raavi smiled. “Ab jaldi chal Anita di aur Hardik bhaiyya aa gaye honge.”

Shiva didn’t let her go, and pulled her in for another kiss.

Shiva and Raavi walked back to their venue as if nothing happened. Raavi’s family had arrived too and Prafulla looked mad. Raavi Shiva joined their families.

“Kaha the tum dono?” Dhara asked.

“Yahi pe.” Shiva said.

“Piche ke-” Raavi was about to say, but Shiva pinched her.

Dhara looked at them suspiciously. Her eyes widened as she saw something. She cleared her throat and pointed something out to Gautam.

“Shiva tere kurte pe lipstick laga hai.” Gaumbi simply said. He knew there was no stopping them. He missed this stage of romance. Maybe he could convince Dhara to spend some romantic moments with him tonight.

Shiva and Raavi both blushed. Raavi tried to wipe it away with her dupatta.

“Raavi tu lipstick thik se ek aur baar laga le. Utar gayi.” Anita said.

Raavi blushed and went to the washroom to touch up her makeup. Prafulla was finding it very hard to control herself. She finally stood before Shiva and looked at him with a glare.

“Main dekh rahi hu tu meri masoom si bachhi ke saath kya kar raha hai Shiva.” Prafulla said. “Mere bechari phool si bachhi ko apne pyaar ki jaal mein phasa liya hai tune. Main tujhe nahi chorungi.”

“Ae maami, tu zyada bol rahi hai. Ek aur baar tune bola na toh-”

“Shiva!” Dhara stopped him. “Ab yeh teri saas banne wali hai.”

Both Shiva and Prafulla looked absolutely disgusted with the statement. Then Shiva got a new idea to annoy his maami.

“Maami saas.” He said politely. “Raavi ki mujhse shaadi ho gayi toh yeh kangan toh Raavi ko milenge. Aur Raavi ko mile toh matlab Pandya family ko milenge. Hain na maami saas?”

Prafulla fainted. Anita splashed some water on her face to wake her up. When she gained consciousness, she smiled at Shiva and went and sat at the back. Meanwhile Raavi came back to Shiva.

“Ab main thik lag rahi hi?” She asked cutely.

Shiva pulled her close. “Chipkali lag rahi hai.”

“Shiva tu-”

“Raavi Shiva, sab dekh rahe hai!” Dhara scolded.

Shiva and Raavi moved away from each other. Within a few moments, they were called. They went on the stage and exchanged their rings. Neither of them could control their smiles.

I just realised, in the previous chapter I misread it as cold shoulder and convinced myself that now that they are open to each other about their feelings Shiva wouldn't have to show cold shoulder towards Raavi. 🤣

Epiphany dawned on me when Shiva ka pitaayi ho raha tha. 🤣

Aww... Shivi are inseparable.

Wait, actually Maami and her kangan are inseparable 🤣.
