Why is Viveka so wary to be in touch with the Parashars? Shes normally cool and affectionate. Is it because she feels it will be hard to leave when they call it quits? She doesn't want emotional bagage?

Viveka dropped the ball. She should have called Ranaav to check on dad. Better approach would have been - to have called smrita directly and satyen also. It’s about give and take. Being there for dadu is right given the situation. But she could have made a call.

This would have been the best way to deal with matters. It's an emotional time for both families and how you respond in such times leaves lasting impressions.

Ranaav was nice and meticulous. Viveka I think is in a mode of paralysis by analysis. She is still settling her head down with the roller coaster of her life in the past month

. I don’t think she intended to overlook or be indifferent, she was just being the person she was before meeting Ranaav , being there for her family.

She made a mistake and will most likely be her own harshest critic. She could use some help from Ranaav in sorting her thoughts and understanding what they expect of each other.

I don't understand one thing here...why must Viveka go all for her own family when there are loads of people in her maternal house? Aakash can take a day off however important for a surgery right? Anu could have avoided the trip too...naina's interview can't be postponed karuna diya are kids. Viveka could be taking care but she was asked of some help right? She could change plans...how did she not be so caring towards people suddenly? Also Viveka is too illogical. Poor hain to they don't commit crimes and mistakes? Satyen was crashed and woh mechanically nahi hua..someone was behind the wheel of the truck as well...I don't understand her illogical defence🙄

I was thinking more like in terms of.... I'm sure Anu must have called Akash and viveka to check in on her father in law at least a couple of times during the day . That would have only seemed normal to veev right?.... that her mother while being away is responsibly and responsively checking in on her grandfather?!!

That's how a ménage / a household gets managed, where all the members of a ménage become your unit. Grahasthi has it complexities, Grahasthi demands.... expects that roles be assigned, roles be played, roles be taken and roles be fulfilled. That's when you become part of the unit.

30 yrs of it for Anubha and 30 days of it for Viveka don't stand on the same scale . Yet ....if Viveka is mature and pauses to reflect on the happenings of the day and how she fared in her role, her biggest learning would be that role of her towards Satyen parashar is not that of a benefactor, the role has been elevated to take and play is that of a daughter/ daughter in law. You sleep well knowing that you did the best you wanted to do.

I also felt, it was plain desperate of Veev to try pacify Naina that Raanav cares for her. Oh cmon! Naina is 28 for eff's sake!!!!

Veev is not going to get anywhere with her sister if she keeps defending her decision to marry Raanav. Not ideal but it is what it is. Keep Raanav out of the equation. It hurts but it's not one person hurting. There are quite a few who are hurting.

Yes she got married to Raanav, the man who despised the gold digger. She has to stop feeling the guilt that she ditched her sister.

There's no way forward if veev is desperate to overcompensate by placating her guilt. Let Naina come to terms with her sister's marriage. She's already acknowledging that by asking veev if 'her husband 'is there in the hospital right? So Naina knows and acknowledges Raanav's importance in her sisters life. The process is happening . Besides that, it's not like ki Raanav is exactly tripping over himself of any guilt towards he carries or might have carried over his opinion of Naina.

So just let it be, just let it go !!! It is what it is !!!

How many times we do this.. jump into conclusions and think the person odd behavior is because of us of what we said or did. Ra knew she was going to the hospital for her Dadu's surgery and Vi knew he was accompanying Satyen for his test. All was well with the couple.

On her part by asking Ra are you taking Satyen home is like confirming Satyen is well. She did not probe more...her dadu just underwent several hours of critical surgery. The issue started with her query

"Tum yaha nahi aaogey”

“Probably not!” he said distracted

She concluded that his response is because Smrita tattled about their texts to him. It went downhill after that.

Her argument before for the driver who caused the accident, her gossiping about Smrita today..not asking more about Satyen's health ..now comes across as she does not care about any Parasher even Satyen. Satyen who has been advocating for Vi, taking her sides with Ra..pointing Smrita shortcomings to his son !

Vi should pause and take a leaf from her Papa.

Akash who rushed to see injured Satyen because of their new budding friendship and not because of any relation. It is not about being a responsible DIL or doing the right thing as society expects it or being "meticulous" like the man she loves.

If she cares and respects Satyen just for being who he is (not FIL) then inquire about his welfare.

While Satyen has given Viveka a place as his daughter, Viveka is no where close in accepting Satyen as a father figure. He is still the benefactor for her.

Viv says she loves Raanav.

But doesn't love come with some responsibilities too? Doesn't his concerns, duties and fears matter to her?

Raanav was in touch with Akash regarding Dadu's surgery. It was natural for him as Dadu is Viveka's family and Viv's family is his family now.

That kind of feeling is missing in Viveka, I wonder why.
