I just happened to watch the 2004 Star Parivaar Awards title track.. It was so simple yet touching.. Heartfelt.. The channel had such a wide variety of shows to offer.. Apart from saas bahu saga there was a fatal love story like KTH, a detective series like Krishna Arjun, Comedy series like Khichdi, an air force based show like Sara Akash, a medical drama Sanjivani.. Its a pity that the same chl hardly has any freshness to offer today apart from 1 or 2 shows ! SPAs have become all glitz and no substance ! :-( The 2004 song is so beautiful and are our Sujal and Kashish.. Happy Memories ! :-)

<font size="4" color="#ff0000">Alright apart from that we have 'Mere angne mein' it is based on typical saas-bahu concept with a mixture of comedy, although I don't watch this serial but I think there is some comedy element too.😉</font>

<font size="4" color="#ff0000">We have got a new addition 'Dahleez' do I need to tell how good a serial it is? Since the very first episode it succeeded in hooking the viewers to it!😊</font>

Dekha humari soch hamesha nahi milti ! 😉 Actually, during the KTH days, the entire limelight was on Saas bahu soaps but there were other shows too.. Shararat, Ssshh Koi hai, Krishna Arjun, Karishma Ka Karishma all explored different genres of horror, comedy and thriller. But now if you see, its mostly saas bahu soaps with bits of fluttery romance here and there ! Some shows do start off with a "nayi soch" as they call it, but soon become run of the mill ! I don't know, but I hardly find anything interesting to watch.. Most of the interesting shows end soon bcz either they are finite series or they are pulled off air due to low TRPs.

YHM ki toh baat na karo ! The show was so so good initially ! And its absolute crap now ! The storyline, logic everything has gone for a toss ! Although I never felt Raman & Ishita were comparable to SK, specially Raman but still I liked them at one point.. Mainly because of the Ruhi angle.. But I have stopped following it for more than a yr now.. Just have a gross idea about what's going on..

And Sujal, uske saath main kisi ko bhi compare nahi karti ! He's the pioneer.. He's the ultimate one !

For now on SP, it seems Dahleez and Ramayan are shows with substance. The last show I loved on Star Plus would be MaHabharat ! Oh my Lord Krishna! He's a dream !

Yes ! Yes ! Yes ! He's the most perfect Krishna that could ever be ! It just seems that he was born to play Krishna ! My second most favourite actor on TV !

And the BTW , you missed out on the ever so revolutionary Saath nibhana Saathiya and YRKKH in the above list !
