Res ( my ever first res) ...
Ps. I am so happy and have just 7 minutes before going to work :-)
1- My fingers are in move mode now. My sleeves up, my iPad open, a bowl of Persian tea next to me ( I recently enjoy drinking my tea in a turquoise bowl ), BBC Persian TV is on as well. This is how I am going to write my comment :)
2- 4000 words? I am totally impressed by your hardworking and your loyalty towards your readers. My respect for you is increasing minute by minute and I am really serious about it. You don't put us down and despite your hectic and busy schedule, you keep updating two great stories I am smitten with. Accept a friendly hug from overseas hahahahaha I don't wanna go in poem mode now :)
3- I am personally excited that le petit Nikhal is Arnav's son and I am restless until he uses his Harvard brain and knows the truth. I love the way you describe their friendship and the reciprocal and invisible pull /attraction they feel for each other.
4- I really like this Anjali you portray in this amazing story. Anjali seems to be a great and compassionate young mother and friend, a well loved wife, and a wise and smart sister. A very opposite personality of what we saw in the original show and I really hope that she convinces Khushi to accompany le petit Nikhal for the school outing :) WHO knows? Maybe the real father joins his family-to be as well. JUST IMAGINE this little beautiful family together :)
5- Lavanya is getting little by little on my nerves but her existence/presence is indispensable for the plot whether I, as a reader, like it or not. But I am happy that I can at least voice my opinion about her. Is she hiding something or was she when she had given Arnav the impression that they had shared a passionate and wild night together? Now every thing is getting clear for me . Let me go to number six:
6- Arnav was not sober that night and we know it. He didn't feel like partying with others after their fashion show and taking over of Sheesh Mahal, right? He goes to his private room and tries to rest a little bit. Khushi enters his room and a loud noise caused by a broken vase takes out Arnav from his reverie/relaxing mode/7th skies. I believe it is possible and believable that his mind functions in a way that he forgets the subject of this sudden and beautiful attraction. He is KITNI impressed by this pull towards a beautiful creature coming from nowhere, that his brain actually forgets Khushi or vaguely remembers her in their next encounter. That is what I think though.
7- I LOVE LOVE LOVE some of the sentences exchanged between ARSHI:
- I have to go home now ( you used it in the present encounter as well which makes it special to me. I love this JEU DE MOTS (play on words).
- Thoda dard hoga (one of my favorite ones in the show)
- I don't want to be alone. I don't want to be alone either.
8- Does Khushi feel something for Arnav? Why she gets jealous when he describes Lavanya as the best model of AR Designs? smart and intelligent,...
9- Despite what happened after this Arshi encounter, I believe this scene is one of the best and the most beautiful and romantic scenes in your story. They were meant to be together:
- They way she clings to him in the darkness.
- The way he tries to calm her down.
- The way he kisses her hair.
- The way she feels being loved.
- The romantic ambiance. etc.
10- Please update as soon as you can because it is really hard to wait. Don't leave us in this crucial and critical situation for long :)
PS. You are a great writer and my favorite one! Have I ever told you that?
PS2. I missed Arnav's WHAT THE! Thanks for having him say it hahahahaha
