PART 8. PLAN No. 7. SHIRTLESS WAALA PLAN!

Six months had passed since Khushi's real birthday and Arnav had yet to make any plan for winning Khushi's heart. How could he? He was so swamped with various projects that he did not even have time to sit and chat with his Di, forget about planning to win Khushi's heart. But today Devi Maiyya decided to help Arnav in his plan. How did she help Arnav? For that you will have to wait a bit as first I wish to take you to Arnav and show you what he is doing right now. After all you did wait for so many weeks to see your shirtless Arnav!

Arnav smiled tenderly as he stepped out of the bathroom. It is such a relief to be home! Arnav sighed in tiredness. He turned towards his wardrobe and started looking for some clothes to wear. As he continued to search, water trickled down his chiseled arms, his washboard abs and his sharp face. Wearing nothing but his towel, Arnav did not stop for a second as he ruffled through his wardrobe with his back towards the door to his room. And it was to this scene Khushi was greeted when she reached his room.

It would be an understatement to say that Khushi was nervous when she headed towards Arnav's room. She had passed the outer boundaries of nervousness ages ago. From the time she celebrated her real birthday, Khushi had been troubled by the feelings Arnav had evoked in her heart. She simply could not understand why her heart beat like a fast train and butterflies jumped around her stomach whenever Arnav was near her. Whenever his arms accidently brushed her arm, she would feel shiver run down her spine. Of course our Khushi did not know that Arnav deliberately brushed his arm with her. And then there was her habit of getting lost in his eyes whenever her eyes met his. She would loose all her thought process and unless someone nudged her or called her, her eyes would refuse to look away. And last but not the least, these days Arnav seemed to rule her thoughts. Everytime she would wonder what he must be doing or what he must be thinking only to realize what she was doing and then she would divert her mind but her mind would again come back to Arnav.

And recently Khushi found herself getting acquainted with a new problem. The new problem was that she was missing Arnav. She missed fighting with him, arguing with him and yes, even seeing his face. Few days back Arnav had gone to Mumbai for some meeting and her heart seemed to have shrouded with pain and sadness. Where was her Arnavji? And that is why when, while roaming in the gardens, she got the news that Arnav was back and had just gone to his room, she decided to see him right away. And that was the reason why Khushi Kumaari Gupta headed towards his room right now with her heart beating wildly, her palms turning sweaty and her stomach somersaulting while her eyes eagerly looked to feast on Arnav's face.

Khushi entered the room, only to stop short as her mouth dried up and her eyes widened. The somersaults in her stomach increased and deep inside her a longing rose; such a longing she had never experienced before. Her eyes did not even blink as they stared in front of her. There was Arnav in nothing but his towel going through his wardrobe. She simply stared as his muscled arms moved in the air as he pulled out a shirt out of the top shelf only to discard it in annoyance. Suddenly, she felt a deep longing to touch those arms, to feel those muscles move underneath her fingers, to slide her palm on his biceps. She raised her arm and had taken another step ahead before she realised what she was doing. Her eyes flickered to her raised hand and she pulled it back right away.

Khushi looked down suddenly feeling embarrassed at Arnav being shirtless in front of her. And she was staring at him! Hey Devi Maiyya! Yeh hum kya kar rahe hain! Her hands fiddled with her duppatta in nervousness. But her eyes refused to remain away from Arnav. After few seconds, they on their own accord raised and feasted on Arnav. By then Arnav had given up on looking through his wardrobe and simply stared at it annoyed that he could not choose one T-shirt from his collection. As he stretched his back absentmindedly, Khushi's eyes traced his broad shoulders. Unbidden, a thought entered her mind. I wonder how I would feel when I hug those broad shoulders! Her eyes widened as the thought was acknowledged by her brain and she took faster breaths. All the while Arnav remained unaware of her presence.

Khushi looked away in horror. Hey Devi Maiyya! Yeh kaise kaise khayaal aa rahe hain humaare dimaag mein! But her eyes once again refused to stay away from the finest specimen of mankind. Arnav turned towards his bedside dresser as his phone rang. As he started speaking on his phone, he picked up the file on the bed and started leafing through it. He turned a little bit facing Khushi with his eyes focused on file and he gave her a glimpse of his front upper body. Khushi's eyes went to Arnav's taut stomach. Suddenly she had the image of him pulling her close in her arms and she being crushed in between his arms and his body. She gasped at the thought and a shiver went down her body from head to toe. Khushi was beyond horror now as she realised that she was lusting after Arnav's body. Hey Devi Maiyya!

Arnav looked up at the gasp and his whole body stilled for a second. And then a tender smile erupted on his lips. There stood Khushi looking down fiddling with her duppatta. His smile widened. The last few days he had missed her; her essence, her soulful eyes, her luscious lips, her quivering body when he passed by her and accidently touched her but most of all, he missed her innocent chatter and her fighting avatar. His eyes stared at her, trying to take her in as much as possible. He wanted to capture her image in his eyes so that she remained in his brain forever. But why was she looking down and so fidgety? Arnav frowned in confusion. Suddenly he got an inkling of what she was doing here before he caught onto her presence. Maybe he was right! Maybe he was wrong! He had to check whether his guess was right or not!

Arnav took a step ahead making Khushi jump. He smirked at her action and then looked at her innocently. "Khushi! Help me na!", he pouted and then pointed at his wardrobe, "Choose for me a Tee shirt! I just don't know which one to wear!" When Khushi hesitated, Arnav frowned sadly giving her his puppy dog eyes. Khushi's heart melted and she walked towards him. She neared the wardrobe and started looking through it unaware that Arnav was slowly coming close to her. She chose forest green tee and turned around only to bump into Arnav. She jumped back in shock, "Yeh leejiye!", she mumbled nervously and stepped away from him.

As Khushi tried to walk away, Arnav called after her, "Suno!" She turned around worriedly and Arnav acted as if he was confused, "Tum mujhse itna darti kyun ho?" Khushi's eyes widened in shock. "Hum...hum...hum hum hum darein? Darein kyun? Hum nahi darte!", she said her words in such a fumbling manner that Arnav took a step ahead just to tease her. She took few steps back hurriedly. Arnav in two strides entered her personal space and mumbled, "Achcha?" Khushi's eyes looked away from his enchanting eyes only to come across his taut body. She gasped and Arnav realised that his guess was right. Khushi was as much attracted to him as he was to her. He stepped a little closer making Khushi gulp. Arnav felt a thrill enter his body as he wondered what thought had entered Khushi's mind which made her swallow.

If Arnav had known what Khushi was thinking at that time, he would have pinned her to the wall and kissed her. Because when Arnav pressed close to her, all Khushi could think was hugging him and feeling the muscles move under her palm. Her breathing became labored as Arnav moved closer neither of them realizing that her legs were touching the bed. She leaned back in nervousness and fell backwards on the bed right away. Arnav tried to catch her by grabbing her waist but due to her momentum he was pulled with her too.

Arnav fell on the bed right on top of Khushi, his arms around her waist and her hands on his upper arms. Arnav looked at her hands on his shoulder and looked at her amusedly. Khushi followed his glance and the moment it registered to her that she was holding his arms she pulled away making Arnav smirk. He slowly slid his arm away from her waist making her take in a sharp breath. He rolled away from her and got up from the bed. Khushi heaved a sigh of relief as she got up too. And that is when Khushi realised that a half naked Arnav was lying right on top of her. Khushi's knees felt wobbly at this thought while her eyes remained fixed on Arnav's chest. Khushi was enraptured at this point.

Khushi's eyes continued to stare at Arnav's body till she heard Anjali calling for her. That was what broke her out of her staring and made her realise what exactly she was doing here. She was lusting after Arnav's body and her thoughts had already passed beyond PG 13. As of now the images flashing through her brain was nearing adult film rating. Hey Devi Maiyya! Yeh kaise kaise khayaal humaare mann mein aa rahe hain! She shuddered at her thoughts and ran out of the room right away.

Arnav, who was looking for his comb, blinked as Khushi looked in horror after hearing Anjali's call. And then as she ran off, Arnav frowned in confusion. Yeh kyun bhaagi? But as he recollected the horror on Khushi's face, he realised that Anjali's call must have brought Khushi out of her staring session and she must have realised what exactly she was doing. He let out a loud laugh at Khushi's naivety and wondered how she would react if he kissed her. Thank you Devi Maiyya! Aapne bina bole meri madat kardi! Meri love story ko aage dhakka maarne ke liye thank you!
