Absolutely loved this story, it is one of my favourites! I loved how different you made all the characters from the show, and I especially loved how I still fell in love with all these characters! They were brilliant! This type of Arnav was so different from the show and other stories, I thought I'd only ever like him as the sexy, suave, confident Arnav, but your story showed a different side to him I never thought I could like. Everything was written brilliantly!

This epilogue made me so happy, I can't tell you how much. Such a happy, hopeful conclusion to a beautiful story. So glad Anjali and Shyam's relationship troubles are not over. Sometimes it's not the lack of love, but the lack of showing that you love that ends relations. But I feel cheated, Twiggy. I wanted to read the proposal, it would have been the cutest. Your Arnav, I love him. Thank you for daring to be different. I love your Khushi as well. She has so much spunk, so much heart, so much love and such intelligence. And Payal , Akash , Garima and Shashi and Nani. Funnily enough, I think this Karthik character would go really well with Payal. You know what I mean.

It is definitely one of the finest stories I have read in a while simply because the characters are what they are. Reinforces ones belief in good things and people.

What a lovely ending! Very fitting. The story started with khuhsi doing a crossword and ended the same way. Finally khuahi found the missing part to her writing. All because of her hard work during her projects. Her time away really has made her more mature.

Payal is one strong woman. Very straightforward. You won't find her hiding away. She is very honest and can be quite brutal although most of the time I don't think she realises it.

Nice to see Shaym appreciating Anjali and what she has sacrificed. It's good to see her fulfilling her dreams even after marriage and with her husbands support even if he did need a little push.

Finally Arnav. I Absoloutely loved this Arnav! He was such a great guy! Someone who is not afraid to share his feelings. Complete opposite to the broody one were all used to. Really like the way he and khuhsi constantly support one another and encourage eachother.

And lastly just want to say a very big thank you for sharing Your work with us and the pm. You are an amazing writer and can really make the reader get into the characters head. Do nt stop writing. Hopefully we get to see more of your work!

I can't believe this story has come to an end. I came across this a few weeks back and the very title was what attracted me here.
I can't believe it's over. I'm sorry I haven't been a regular commenter, but my college keeps me more busy then I would like.
Anyway do you have to change the title? I thought that Polemic Jackanapes was quite an apt title as you say yourself. It catches so much of the essence of the story.
And I totally love your Arnav. He's warm and a very believable character. Who's not perfect.
Your Khushi, I have no words for her. She's the right mixture of strength and heart.
I hope to be as strong as your Payal someday. When I won't need anybody to tell me that I can do it, whatever it is. When I can do that MYSELF!
I am glad you decided to give Aakash his justice. You have brought forth the potential that his character always possessed.
I am glad your Anjali follows her dreams before it's too late.

Very less authors note I enjoy.. I read them regardless.. But this ones was awesome.. I didn't want you to stop.. Just wanted to read your perceptive on everything about this story..

I like how you have kept Payal's case to imagination and mostly implying their equation changed.. But that was so Payal's thing..
