felt really sad for Arnav...he never thought khushi wud doubt his integrity towards his work...but then he has broken her trust once...though there was not a proper breaking of promise...but assuming whatever little we know through the flashback... it was an nonverbal promise from his side to her...which he broke thereby betraying her... so its kinda logical for her to doubt him, esp with all the lies that he has been conveying to people in her presence

but then she is special for him...and so his behavior with her is more open, compared to guards that he put on when in presence of others...esp, since he has to solve the smuggling crimes in the forest...he cannot trust others, but he must have never thought that khushi wud think so low about him...

m really glad that he is keeping his distance now...hope he maintains it n forces her to come to him...

btw, i thought arnav's dad was a rich businessman...so did khushi forgot this fact while doubting him, that why wud he smuggle teak for money, when he let go of all the property that his dad owned, which was rightfully his.

You did not miss the chance to squeeze in some light hearted humor, which is your forte, into the story when you can, did you? The library scene with references to book titles was so hilarious. Another book Arnav must have read is - how to prevent others from ruining a date. 😆
Can't wait to read further.

I think Joy is the mastermind of smuggling. And Khushi his right hand. All this 'I shuck you' was just to divert all of us. :p
