I am back and you are leaving!!! Well you go girl!!! you deserve a longish break...much more than those who claimed to deserve one and caused a ruckus declaring it :)

I know I missed commenting on many updates and actually wanted to write a comment for each update...because every update was like a beautiful piece of art that no ammount of commenting would do justice!! But I am going to just mention what I absolutely loved in the past few updates and move on to the recent chapter:)

1. Mussorie Bhains...I laughed like anything and this just stuck in my head...even contemplated having this as my signature here on IF but then didnt get to do it...coz i never had a siggie and didnt want to change that...but that line is sig worthy!!!!!

2. The scenes in the orphanage...I cried literally and the tears refused to stop flowing...and the lump in my throat just wouldnt go...the line that is still ringing in my ears: "how do people, who are deprived of love, react when they are offered love? Do you see a tinge of hesitation flash in their eyes??"

Today's update:

This has to be one of the best ever descriptions on the changing feelings (from friendship to love & desire)...Every single thing that you built up seemed to culminate here...the final transition from a platonic bond in childhood to a strong and deep link that would bond their bodies, mind and soul!!!

My most favourite part was when he turned away feeling embarrassed at his scandalous thoughts but reverted the gaze with confidence and possessiveness – he had the rights to look at her...she was not just his best friend anymore...she was his love...his woman...his khushi...

Her abandoned joy brought tears of happiness to his eyes!!!! And his joy at her happiness brought tears to my eyes too :)

Good bye kiss???? Whom r u kidding Khushi? Hell...No...This is surely not going to be your good bye kiss!!!

But to his utter shock, he found her turning to face him, and with eyes reddened with tears, she leaned forward to kiss him and he felt his heart suddenly plunge into the depth of deepest ocean, as if it would never resurface back again...

This broke my heart, all over again :)

Loved this part..i sooo hope something good.. I have not read ur earlier stories yet, so I hope something good happens in this one too :)

chapter 14

Surely, this will be one of the most memorable birthdays for Khushi. After spending her birthday for 15 years in solitude, finally getting to spend her day with her best friend must have been heartwarming for her.

Gosh, the rain sequence gave me goosebumps. Khushi says that this is wrong when deep down she knows (or maybe isn't aware of it still) that this is what she has longed for. She is torn between her brain and her heart, between what society deems right and where her upmost happiness lies.

This is a turning point in Arnav and Khushi's lives and relationship. It's either progression or retrogression.

Lovely part... (but I still miss Ranvijay and his chemistry with Dadi) 😳😆

Rachel congratulations on RED rank. You rock!!!!! N here I am after my vacation n you are leaving on one... dear you deserve this break... you have given us an update that could have us in its spell for weeks to come... take a break n we are here for long...

Coming to the update... ah I really missed writing on you're work for past few updates... oh my God I think that was the lengthiest update ever that just kept me hooked from word one till last... I am sure I am not going to come out of its magic anytime soon... the way u had written just moved me...

Two vulnerable souls... one in richness is as helpless and alone as the one in rags... The fifteen years he spent in warmth n luxury is as meaningless as hers spent in cold n rough confines... the way you had described how different their stands are was so beautiful... hats off... the writing was too good... I read those lines over n over again just to have that emotional connect with the characters over n over again...

When you had written about the silence that prevailed following his order to get used to his way, I was engulfed with the same silence... when she had her share of joy in rain and when he had his by taking in her sight, I had my share off joy too... the rain sequence left me with the feel of dancing in rain with no thoughts about the real world... your writing leaves me in a trance state... I hope kushi doesn't kiss him good bye... I know that she is one girl with strong sense of reality but hope the desires the simple heart has is stronger enough to vague her senses... cant the molten caramel carry the depth to make her forget the reality...????

Im not sad that you are taking a break... because unlike "Few people" when u claim it as LONGISH break you have given us a date to look forward too... your word LONGISH reminded me of him who used it n true to his words his break from appearing on small n big screen looks like a long way to go...

N ya I am Sad that you are leaving us hanging here at such a heart wrenching moment for Arnav... hope we get to know what followed in the interim update u are planning during this break... till then have fun n remember we love you lots for the person you are... will miss u

Ps: I understood today why u had Neil in mind when u scripted this fiction... n also I saw that you are planning to kill a character... please not arshi... please not... I am a mushy romantic at heart n I cant handle tragedies... as I told we are emotionally connected to your characters and don't treat them as fictional ones... You are making us cry along with them...that we can handle... please make them to have a separation only when they have lived their life to death

Nice update! but u left it on a curious note...did she say him goodbye...n u wanna go on a break say this...😭...well i'm curious now...but if u update one or two times in between break...guess i'm fine with it😊...good luck with your break😊...i'll be waiting...

I love this story not just because it is about Arnav and Khushi but also
because you are also writing about the class system so prevalent in our society.
Unknowingly Arnav gives Khushi a beautiful birthday surprise.
He has bought the ear rings for her but will she accept them?
Loved the lunch part where he jolds on to her to give her confidence.
He feeds her when she can't eat with a fork and knife.
You mix very well the past with the present.
There is always a childhood memory linked to the present and I love that.
The kisses in the rain were beautifully written.
Arnav seems to have decided that Khushi is an integral part of his life.
Will the ociety accept it?
And then there is Lavanya.
