This was a day of pissed off Riya …..she was so angry that her blackberry had to pay for it.

So, it was not so usual day for Chief Arjun Rawte. He had to answer all the questions of Commisioner, who was mad at him for not sharing anything about the abused victim or the FIR maker.at last, he gave up of trying to know anything and hand over the case to ETF.

''whats this powerful crap with everyone?'' riya was pissed hearing same thing again…they were powerful and we have to careful, ''for heavens sake , he is just a criminal.he had many crime records.''

Arjun sighed, ''but he is MLA now…''

''so what? He is still under law, is nt he?''

''Sir, who MLA sir aye hain …'' receptionist Neha entered.Arjun went ahead .

''so, Mr. MLA, suna hain apke bhai ne kisi ladki ke saath badtamizi ki hain? Is it true?'' Riya relaxed in her seat , while Arjun was glaring at MLA.

He was a man of 50, with white outfit, trying to look as a saint, but cruelty was evident in his face. In the outside, ChoRee and SakZa was watching it all on camera.

''ab yeh baat to apke team me se koi keh raha hain…par humara bhai aisa kar hi nahi sakta.'' He answered back, with looking lustily at Riya, checking her out from head to toe.

Arjun was observing this, and was angry as hell, ''to who sehar chor ke bhaga kyun?''

''bacha hain, darr gaya. '' he was relaxed.

''who kya dudh pita hain?'' riya was sarcastic.

Arjun was pissed with this man, ''who har din sham ko iss sehar ke ek reputed college ke samne khada hokar ladkiyon ko cher ta hain…. Ab bhi aap kahenge ki who bekasur hain?''

''ap kya hum par ilzam laga rahe hain ki humne use bhaagne mein madad ki?'' the MLA was defensive now.

''yeh baat to aap khud keh rahe hain…hum nahi.'' Riya smirked again.

The MLA straightened his back, and threatened them ,'' hum usske bare mein kuch nahi jante. Behtar hoga ki aap log humein jane de.''

Arjun screamed at him, ''kya behtar hoga who ap humein na hi sikhay to hi acha hain.samjhey MLA jee? Ya Samjhaaon?'' he said his trademark dialogue and MLA glared.

After some other questions, they had to leave him. They were coming outside when the MLA turned.

''dekho..tum logon ko shayad koi andaza bhi nahi hain ki main kya kar sakta hoon…to behtar hoga apne uss officer se kaho FIR wapas le le. Muh mangi kimat dunga main uski.''

The mention of bribe in front of Arjun was not a good idea. He moved furiously to him, raised his fist to punch him when Riya hold his shoulder, stopping him.

The MLA glared at Arjun, then he turned to Riya, looking like a hawk.

''acha kiya jo tumne use rok liya….warna anjam acha nahi hota.'' He glared at Arjun again who was breathing fast, ready to explode anytime. Then he smiled and turned to Riya, ''waise kafi samajhdar ho tum….aur khoobsurat bhi…'' he checked her out from top to bottom and Riya's face hardened.

''tum yeh police ki naukri chor kyu nahi deti? Mere saath chalo….achi zindagi naseeb hogi….''

Before he can say one more thing, Riya went towards him, and slapped him across his face. He was too startled to react anything, then he glared at her.

''yeh thappar tumhe bohot mehenga padega officer sahiba….yaad rakhna.''

The smirk was back in her face, ''really? I am waiting eagerly.'' She glared at him, who was holding his cheek with one hand. Then he turned and went outside.

Every person was shocked to the core at what just happened. SakZa and ChoRee were happy, as Riya slapped that ass*ole, but Arjun was astonished and furious.

''what did you just done? Do you have any idea? You slapped a MLA. Now what if he complain?'' he was frustrated and angry to himself. He had failed to handle his responsibilities.

''he wont do anything.'' Riya said calmly, looking at the ceiling.

''you slapped him.'' He yelled at top.

''don't shout, alright? You were going to punch him.'' She said, looking at his eyes.

''I was fully in control.'' He whispered, to angry to yell may be.

Riya was too pissed to be at work, so she left for her house. Roshni was resting in her room, so she quietly went to her room, and sat on the bed, holding her head with both hands. She was thinking about that disgusted MLA..when her blackberry rang.

''any news?'' it was khan.

''no madam…sir to sirf office se ghar aur ghar se office jate hain…aur kuch bhi pata nahi chala.''

''so why did you call?'' she was pissed already and he was irritating her.

''please, madam…mujhe chor dijiye…main do party ke beech pissna nahi chahta…please madam samjhiye…'' he was begging.

She clenched her fist, ''agar dobara bina kisi news ke mujhe phone kiya, to goli mar dungi,'' she hung up.

She was exhausted now, and thought to grab a bottle of drinks when again her blackberry rang.

''hello?''

''tumhare ghar ke bahar security ka intezam kr diya hain, ab who 24/ 7 rahegi.'' It was Arjun.

She was confused, ''there are already guards in formal cloths, so why more?''

''its for ur own security. They will watch u always, and guard u.'' he explained.

Her nostrils flared with anger, '' I don't need any fu*king security, got it?'' she said through gritted teeth.

''no argument Riya, its my order.'' He hung up.

''to hell with ur order,'' saying this, she threw away the blackberry on the floor, smashing it in pieces.she was too much angry and so she threw away another thing, this time a vase from the nearby table.

''why the hell do you care, haan? Why are you doing this? '' tears started to roll from her eyes, the after effect of anger.

Riya and Arjun were married for 8 months now. Arjun is the more caring and loving husband anyone could ever have. He was carefully balancing his job, and his wife.

Riya was not so human herself in those months of marriage. She was traumatized, and didn't respond to anything. But she started to get back normal, thanks to Arjun's never ending patience and love.

When their life was almost perfect, tragedy striked. Arjun was shot during an encounter.he was badly wounded and Doctors had left all to the God.

Riya was shattered after knowing this. She prayed for his well being, kept fasts, and prayed. May be God heard her, that's why Arjun came back from the dead.

And like a adarshavadi hindu wife, she took care of him . because of her care Arjun started to get well fast.

But things were not normal then. Arjun was very detached and unresponsive towards her.she thought it initially as a depression and because of medicines, but soon she learnt he was going too away from her.

He went back to his work, and gave less time to her. He came back house after her sleep, and went back to work before she even wake up. Days passed without meeting or hearing his voice…he was too busy for his wife. He didn't even pick up her calls at work.slowly their interactions, and even meetings stopped. They were at the same house, but like two strangers.

Its not liked Riya didn't do anything to save her marriage. She fully tried to give him space he needed, and did it all what could keep him happy. But she herself didn't know what was the reason of his ignorance. So he decided to ask him.

One night, as usual Arjun came back home late. He thought Riya was asleep, like she is always , but he was surprised to find her in the drawing room.

''soyi nahi ab tak?'' he asked.

''mujhe tumse baat karni hain.'' She spoke in a low voice, sobbing even before she starts.

''not now. I am too tired.'' He was about to leave.

''to kab baat karoon tumse Arjun? Tum hote hi kab ho mere paas? Humesha kaam…'' she choked.

He turned to her, clearly pissed, ''to kya tumhare saath har waqt baitha rahoon? Chahti kya ho tum?''

''tumhara saath chahti hoon main. Bas.'' Tears started to flow on her cheek.

Arjun closed his eyes in anger, ''main tumhare saath hi hoon Riya, now just stop all this nonsense.''

''tum kab mere saath hote ho? Tumhe yaad hain akhri baar kab humne saath waqt guzara, ya kab hum kareeb the?'' she was fully sobbing now. She was trying very hard to hold on her marriage, but everything is slipping.

''nahi yaad hain mujhe…. Kyu ki I was busy unlike you.stop all this drama…'' Arjun shouted at her.

''u think it as a drama? Our marriage is falling apart….cant u see it?'' Riya was shocked at his behavior. He was so cold…she don't know this new Arjun.

''no, I cant see it….because I have more things to do than just thinking bulls**t.'' he barked back.

He turned to go back in their bedroom. Riya was too shocked to do anything. She was paralyzed at the place.

''is there another person?'' she managed to say that all.

''what did you say?'' Arjun came dangerously close to her.

''is there another woman…''

''RIYA !!!!'' he raised his hand, about to slap her, but stopped at the last time.

She was froze in place. She had never thought that he will raise his hand on her.

''if you think so low of me….then get out of this house. I don't want you in my life.'' Arjun said in a exceptionally calm voice, and went in his bedroom, slamming the door.

ok..now tum log khush ho na...dikha diya unke past riya ke POV se...
