Part 13

After 2 months……

Manvi was now 5 months pregnant…..

It was bright Sunday morning. Manvi was still in bed. Virat and Ayesha took breakfast tray with them and entered in her room.

Virat kept the tray aside on table and they both moved towards her bed.

Virat:- Ayesha pata hai na use kaise uthana hai???

Ayesha:- of course….. (Winking)

And they both moved to her either sides and leaned towards her ears… and they screamed loudly near her ears together. Manvi woke up suddenly hearing scream in fear. She closed her eyes tightly keeping her hands on ears and panicked screaming more loudly than them. Manvi was still trying to get out of the shock when she heard laughing voices. It didn't take her a moment to register whose voices they were. She opened her eyes… and saw them both laughing and rolling on her bed….. Manvi got furious looking at them and started hitting them with pillow. Ayesha moved out of bed to save herself from her di's beating…..but Virat was still rofling on bed looking at her trying her best to hurt him but then he was shocked to see her taking alarm clock which was kept beside her bed. She threw on him and now that did hurt. Virat jumped out of bed rubbing his arm which was hitten by her clock…..

Manvi:- u both are very bad…..just get out of my room…..

Virat and Ayesha came towards her holding ears saying sorry……

Manvi:- no…. this time u both will not be forgiven…. Its 5^th prank in this week. I m really fed up of u two.

They moved near her on bed making puppy face…..

Manvi:- I said no means no…… today ur puppy faces won't save u both….. Just go from here….. I really hate u both….!!!!

Ayesha hugged her from side, surrounding her both arms around manvi.

Ayesha:- di… pleeeaseee….

Manvi:- hato…. (Pushing her away) aaj mein tum dono se bohot naraz hoon…..

Aise koi uthata hai kya kisiko…..!!!! agar mujhe heart attack aa jata toh….. agar mein mar jati toh…..?!!!

Suddenly smile faded away from Virat's face. Even a thought of losing her in front of death shattered him to core……. He moved out of her bed looking at her….

Ayesha eyes fell on angry Virat…. Ayesha stopped laughing as she knew that her di's words had made him go mad…… she moved out from bed silently and stood aside……

Virat:- (with angry tone)U can punish us however u want…… but don't u ever say that again…..!!

Manvi saw Virat's face going red…..she didn't knew what made him go so angry on her….. She looked at him with confusion written all over her face……

Manvi:- what shouldn't I say???...

Virat:- the thing u said just now……

Manvi:- about hating u both…??

Virat:- after that…..

Manvi:- (scratching her head) um… about being angry on u both….??

Virat:- (clenching teeth) NO…. after that…..

Manvi started rewinding her memory …..She started thinking hard…….

It was now enough for Virat… he yelled at her….

Virat:- about dying!!!!!

Don't u ever say about dying…. Do u even know what does that mean..?!!!!

Manvi was stunned to see his reaction over such small thing. She kept looking at him with slightly open mouth…..

Manvi:- why are u being so angry on such small thing. It's not going to happen as soon as I say…. So chill….!!!!!

Virat:- small thing!!!! (Looking at her unbelievingly) u might think as small thing but its not for me…… and don't u ever dare to say that again….. I swear I will kill u….. (Pointing finger towards her)

Manvi:- (trying to suppress her laugh) ok…. u can kill me if I ever say of dying!!!

Suddenly Ayesha started laughing loud and manvi too burst out laughing with her……

Virat stared them fuming in anger… he was about to walk out when Ayesha held his arm and stopped…..

Ayesha:- hey Virat….. Don't behave like a cry baby……..

Manvi moved the comforter aside from her and keeping hand on her grown belly she moved out of bed……

Manvi:- Oye vadhera…… ladkiyoon ki tarah aab muh fula ke kya ja rahe ho…ok..I m sorry…I will never say it again……. thik hai…!!

Now tell me why are u both here in my room???

Suddenly Virat's face lightened thinking of reason……

Virat:- we all are going for shopping today.

Ayesha:- yes di…… I m really bored sitting at home……

Manvi:- but I have some work to do… so we can go some other day ……

Ayesha:- please di…. don't say no…..

Manvi:- please ayesha….not today….

Virat:- let it be angel…. I will take u out….

Ur di is getting old enough to have some fun….

Manvi:- what !!!!! I m getting old??!!!

Buddhe toh tum ho rahe ho….. I m still my angel's fun sis manvi!!!

Virat:- don't make me laugh…. U are not fun…u r bore sis manvi…!!!!!! (giggling)

Manvi:- no… I m not!!!!

Virat:- if it is so… then come with us and prove that u r fun sis manvi…..

Manvi:- ok…. I will come with u angel……

Virat:- k…..as u say…..

Now just get ready and eat that breakfast (pointing towards tray). We both are waiting for u downstairs…..

Manvi:- just give me 20 minutes….. I'll be there in an hour……

And she rushed towards bathroom taking towel….

Ayesha:- u really know how to make her do as u wish…… (Smiling)

Virat:- I m still learning!! (Winking)

And they both high fived on their victory!!!!

They all were in mall….. having fun….and doing lots of shopping…..

When Virat signaled Ayesha…. Ayesha nodded saying yes….

Ayesha:- di…… aapiki woh nayi jeans apko fit nahi aa rahi hai na???

(Di…Ur new jeans are getting small in size na???)

Manvi:- haan…. Aur aab toh tops bhi fit ho rahi hai…..

(Yes…and even those new tops are getting tight…..)

Ayesha:- then…. Chalo hum Westside se apke liye kuch shopping karte hai…..

(Then…. Let's go to Westside and do some shopping for u….)

Virat:- tum dono jao… mein abhi ata hoon…. mujhe kuch kaam hai…..

(U both go there….i will be back in few minutes…. I have some work to complete….)

Manvi:- kya kaam?? (Suspiciously)

(Which work???)

Virat:- (trying to think of excuse) woh… woh….

Ayesha spoke up immediately seeing Virat stammering…..

Ayesha:- di actually I wanted some game cd's…… so virat is going to buy them for me…. (Looking at Virat) isn't it???

Virat:- (smiling) yes..yes…. she is right… I m going to buy cd's for her……

Manvi looked at both of them suspiciously as they were behaving very weird from yesterday…….. She suspected something was cooking in their head. But she thought of waiting till they tell by themselves……

Manvi:- k… fine…. (Looking at Ayesha) chalo angel…. hum chalte hai….

And they both walked on opposite direction towards store…..

Virat left a sigh of relief for not getting caught by manvi…… he ran from there immediately to complete his work…..

Manvi was shopping loads of dresses for her of various sizes so she can wear them in her pregnancy period……

Manvi:- angel… howz this dress…. I love it…..

Showing a dress…..

Manvi:- I wont look fat in it…….

Ayesha:- di… its very beautiful. Why don't u try these all dresses…… till then I will see where Virat is…..

Manvi:- but angel….

Before manvi could complete her sentence she started walking …

Ayesha:- di… we will be back in seconds….

Saying that she started walking fast towards the place where Virat was……

It had been more than half an hour they both were not yet back….. Manvi was waiting for them in store. She even payed the bill but yet they weren't back….

She called Virat on his cell….

Manvi:- where the hell are u both??

Virat:- just behind u……

Manvi swiftly turned around…..and she saw them both giving a wide smile…..

Manvi:- kahan the tum dono…. Pichle ek ghante se mein tum dono ka wait kar rahi hoon…..

Aur waise tum dono ka chal kya raha hai….. Mein dekh rahi hoon, kal se tum dono bohot ajeeb behave kar rahe ho….

(Where were u both?? I have been waiting here since one hour now…… and by the way… I m noticing from yesterday…..u both are behaving very weird….. What's cooking up now in both of Urs evils heads…..)

Virat:- nothing…. We are just happy….…

Ayesha:- (trying to divert the topic)di… chalo aab ghar chalte hai….. bohot bhuk lagi hai….

(Di.. let's go home… I am very hungry now!!!)

Virat:- haan chalo….. (Taking bags from her hand)

(yes… lets go…..)

They didn't let manvi speak anything more…… and dragged her to car.

After 15 minutes of journey they were back home as the mall was quite near from their house…..

Manvi was about to head upstairs when Virat hold her duppata……

Manvi stopped and without turning around fully she spoke

Manvi:- aab kya?? I m really tired now… I don't have time to see any other prank of u both….

Virat leaned and whispered near her ear…..

Virat:- Ek surprise hai…..

And he took a black cloth from his pocket and blindfolded her…..

Manvi:- tum meri ankhen band karke surprise dhikaoge…??? R u mad Virat…??... Just remove this thing from my eyes…. Don't make me beat u……if I will wear thing, how will I walk? What If I fell down walking…... I don't want……

Virat:- phir se iski bak bak shuru ho gaya iska!!!! (thinking)

(Oh…she again got started with her blabbering… )

I know how to make her quite…..

And he carried her in arms….

Ayesha and manvi both were shocked for a moment….. manvi stopped her blabbering at that instant……

Virat:- dekho aab chup ho gayi….. Now no any word from ur mouth….. apna muh band rakhogi…. (Whispering) warna mujhe aur bhi tarike ate hai muh band karne ke……

(See…. How quite she got now. Now no any word from Ur mouth manvi…. (Whispering) or else I have other ways to shut Ur mouth….)

His words made her body go stiff…. He imagined how her expressions would have been now….and giggled thinking…..

Ayesha whistled loudly……

Ayesha:- kya scene hai boss!!!!!!

Virat was shocked seeing Ayesha whistling…. He opened his mouth to speak when Ayesha noticed his face going serious on seeing what she did. She immediately ran upstairs…..

Manvi:- aab kya mujhe aisehi uthake khade rahoge…. CHALO…..

(are u planning to stand here till tsunami comes… MOVE NOW!!!!)

Virat:- ya….

They moved upstairs…… Ayesha was standing there welcoming them….

Virat gently made her stand and opened the blindfold from her eyes…..

Virat and Ayesha: - surprise!!!!!!!

Manvi was astounded by the sight in front of her. Her room totally looked like a little heaven on earth!!!!!... The room was filled by pink and blue balloons all over the ground and on walls there were pictures of babies and the sweet little two cradles were kept beside her bed…..

Manvi walked in the middle of room and started admiring the whole room….but suddenly she noticed that all the pictures hanged on wall were of twins and then her eyes fell on the two cradles……

Manvi:- Virat….yeh do…. (Watching over cradles)

Virat stood beside her, holding her hand…..…..

Virat:- yes manvi… they are twins!!!!!!!!

Manvi stood frozen in her place trying to sink the new found happiness in her heart…..

Virat:- yesterday when u were in ultrasound test room…. doctor told me. I stopped her telling u this news as I wanted to give u a surprise….

Ayesha:- yes di…. and so we were planning this surprise for u from yesterday….

I m so happy di…..I m going to have two nieces….. Wow!!! That's the greatest news ever!!!!!

Manvi turned her face looking at Virat with questioning eyes as she was still not able to believe her ears…… Virat nodded assuring her that it is true…..

Manvi looked down at her belly caressing it with her hand.

Manvi:- I have two of them in me…….!!!!!

Virat found her eyes were shining with tears ….and slowly making their way on her cheeks……but suddenly he saw worry lines forming on her forehead. She looked serious and worried rather being happy……

Virat came and stood in front of her…..

Virat:- manvi….. (He said softly)

Manvi:- Virat…. I... (Holding his one arm)

Ayesha saw her di's face which clearly showed that she can cry anytime….. she thought it would be better to leave this situation handled by Virat….as he is the one who can make her go in his way……..

Ayesha:- I …..er….I guess I'll see you guys later..

Ayesha slowly moved out leaving them alone in room……..

Manvi was shivering and her sobs were increasing by time…. Virat expected her to be happy hearing this news but here manvi was looking all worried and now she was even crying. Now this was making him scared. He kept his palm on her cheek….

Virat:- manvi… kya hua???...

Manvi took his hand which was on her cheek and she kept her forehead on his hand crying….

Virat didn't knew what to say.. She was continuously crying and there was no sign of her being quite. Without thinking more…….he pulled her in tight hug caressing her hair…..but her tears were not stopping, her breathes were abnormally high!!!!!

Virat let her cry till she felt better……. And after sometime when he felt her sobs getting slighter. He moved her face in front of him cupping it…..and wiped off her tears with thumb…..

Virat: - manvi……

Manvi: - Virat… I m scared!!!!!!...

I m very much scared!!!!

I m scared of failing as mother…..

What if I won't be good mother to my children??... What if I hurt them???

Virat:- u will never manvi…. I know u will be the best mom to them….

Manvi:- but Virat…. they are twins….

Virat:- manvi…… u will be alright!!!!

U can do this……..

Manvi in Ur life….u had gone through so much of hardships but u never once complained about it to anyone. U always lived Ur life to fullest. Even though Ayesha was ur step sis….a sole reason because of whom ur father left u, but still u took her in ur house and not just took her but u even loved her. U fulfilled every responsibility of her like a mother. U never let her miss the love and affection of a mother.

And Manvi don't u remember the day when u shove away ur career…ur job for this child…. no any girl can do this…but u did!!! U did accept this kid in front of whole world. Even though I was ready to take every responsibility…..u denied and took his whole responsibility of being mother and father. Then if u can do this for one…then why can't u do this for both of them.

From the day I met u I have always seen Ur tough side…but now I could see Ur motherly side as well….. u have all qualities that a mother should have manvi. And I m pretty sure…..u will be the best mom ever…..because u r the toughest as well as sweetest person I ever met……!!!!

Manvi stood looking at Virat and his deep eyes which were filled with pure trust on her…. he had more trust on her than she had on herself. Just looking in those deep green eyes faded those fears in her heart….as they gave her unknown solace and assurance that she can do it…..

And without thinking anything further she threw herself in his arms clutching his shirt tightly hiding burying herself in his chest…..

Virat was taken aback by her sudden hug, but knowing her state he surrounded his arms around her waist and pulled her more on him rubbing her back…. She was standing quite holding him tightly. She found it difficult to move away from him.

Virat closed his eyes as he felt her soft breathes lingering on his bare chest.

He never felt so good around anyone. He found himself getting lost in that moment….. but after a second…he saw some wired pictures running in front of his eyes…… he was kissing someone……he looked so comfortable with her. She seemed very familiar to him…..and there he saw her face……She was manvi…!!!! They were kissing each other like there was no tomorrow!!!!!!

Virat was suddenly brought back from his world of dream by wet feeling on his chest. Manvi lips were seductively touching his chest….. He opened his eyes and looked down towards her and she raised her face…. they kept looking at each other……

Virat's eyes moved down from her eyes towards her quivering lips. He didn't knew when his hand moved back to her neck from her waist and tilting his head he leaned closer and captured those red petal like lips which he just saw himself exploring them in his dream…..

Manvi was still in daze. Her senses were far away from her now. All she could feel was his divine touch on her lips once again. She didn't know being kissed by him would make her feel so heavenly!!!... Even though she remembered everything they did that night, but was never able to feel those feelings …..but today she knew what she might have felt that night!!!!
