PART 56

Geet was lost in Maan's eyes and Maan took this opportunity to make their entry into their memories special by carrying Geet inside the flat

He placed her on her favourite chair and went on his knees. He held her hand lovingly and continued

Maan: Tum humesha chahti thina ke tumhara ghruhpravesh aisa hi ho meri baho mein [ U always wanted your ghruhpravesh to take place in my arms right Geet?]

These words of Maan were enough to bring Geet out from the intoxication of his loving side

She got up in frustration and walked straight into her room trying to dictate to Maan that their past can never change

Maan remained calm and did not react; Geet considered this to be her victory but this fantasy of hers got a reality check as she heard Maan humming one of the most soul searing romantic song for her

Maan: Aaye ho meri zindagi mein tum bahar banke mere dil mein yuhi rehna haye mere dil mein yuhi rehna tum pyar pyar banke aaye ho meri zindagi mein tum bahar banke… [U have entered my life like spring remain in my heart forever having become love; love itself…]

She closed the door of her room and held her bracelet tightly she knew the upcoming days were not going to be easy for her… IT WAS EASY TO HATE MAAN WHEN HE WAS SELFISH BUT HOW COULD HE HATE A MAN WHO WAS TRYING TO REKINDLE THE MEMORIES OF HER PAST BY FULFILLING ALL HER SMALL AND BIG DREAMS?

Next day,

Geet's sleep was disturbed by a call on her mobile. She saw Sanju's name flashing on the screen and attended the call immediately

Sanju: Hello Geet kaisi hai? [Hello Geet how are u?]

Geet: Main thik hoon Sanju tu bata [I am fine Sanju tell me what's up?]

From Geet's voice Sanju could easily sense that she had just got up from her sleep

Sanju: Lagta hai Geet Madam ko kafi dino ke baad badi chain ki neend aayi hai [It seems after many days Geet Madam finally got a peaceful night sleep]

Geet: Haan badi sukoon ki neend thi [Yes indeed it was one peaceful sleep]

Sanju was at Prem's house and Prem was preparing coffee for both of them. Sanju had kept the mobile on speaker mode hence Prem could hear every word of their conversation.

He signaled Sanju to ask about Maan so that Geet realizes the actual reason of the most peaceful sleep of her life

Sanju: Geet neend toh achhi aani hi thina aakhirkaar tu apne flat mein hai aur wo bhi APNE pyar apne Maan ke saath [Geet u were bound to get a good peaceful sleep as u were in your flat with the love of your life YOUR Maan by your side]

Geet was ready to accept this fact

Geet: Thodi correction hai Sanju tune sahi kaha main apne flat pe zarur hoon par apne Maan ke saath nahi balki MSK ke saath; mera Maan jisse main pyar karti hoon wo bus mere sapno mein hi exist karta hai asal zindagi mein main jisse apna Maan samaj baithi thi wo toh ek aisa insaan nikla jisse khud ke alawa kissi aur ki parwah nahi [There is a slight correction Sanjuu are right I am in my flat but with MSK and not my Maan; the Maan whom I love resides only in my dreams I was a fool to assume a selfish man to be my love by considering him to be my the Maan of my dreams]

Sanju: Oh common Geet ye toh tu bhi jhutla nahi sakthi ke Maan mein pehle se kafi changes hue hai wo apni galtiyon pe pachtarahe hai aur unki aakhon mein teri liye sacchi mohabbat ki gehrayi saaf saaf nazar aa rahi hai; infact unhone tujhse maafi bhi toh maangi [Oh common Geet u can't ignore the fact that Maan has changed a lot; he is redeeming for his mistakes and the deep ocean of love that his heart possess for you is clearly getting reflected in his eyes and moreover he did ask you for forgiveness]

Geet: Sirf romantic baate karne se ya maafi maang lene se haalat badal nahi jaate Sanju [Just by uttering some sweet romantic notes or by saying sorry u can't change the situation Sanju]

Prem took a sip of coffee as he took a pen and paper while hearing this conversation of Geet

Sanju understood Prem's signal and did the needful

Sanju: Tu kehna kya chahti hai saaf saaf bata [What are u trying to say can I have an elaboration?]

Geet: Main jis Maan se pyar karti thi ussmein mujhe ek saccha dost nazar aata tha. Iss baat ka andaaza tha mujhe ke mere khayal kabhi sacchayi ka rukh apna nahi paayenge tab bhi kahi na kahi ye khwab maine bune the ke mere pyar mein itni taakat hogi k eek na ek din mere Maan ko rishto ki aihmeyat ka andaaza badi khoobsurat taareke se ho jaayega [I had fallen for that Maan whom I considered to be my true friend. I knew my dreams could never see the sunshine of reality but still there was a wish in my heart that one day my unconditional love for Maan would turn victorious and would make Maan understand the beauty of relationships]

Prem noted down something on the paper as Geet continued

Geet: Sanju pyar sirf teen lafzo ka jisse ye duniya "I LOVE U" ke naam se jaanti hai uska mautaaz nahi hotha balki pyar toh ek aisa indradhanush hai jismein kayi rango ka mel hotha hai. Sachhe pyar ki gehrayi tabhi naapi jaa sakti hai jab ussmein respect, loyality, trust, authority, selflessness, care, transparency, honesty, forgiving nature, truthfulness, love aur humesha saath nibhane ka ek atuth vaada ho. Jis rishte mein ye rang nahi nahi hothe usse rishte ki buniyaad itni khokli hai ke pyar uss rishte kea as paas bhi mandra nahi sakta [ Sanju love cannot be confinded in the boundary of those 3 magical words which the world terms to be " I LOVE U". Love is infact a mesmerizing rainbow blended beautifully by different unique colors. The depth of true love can be measured successfully only if it contains the elements of respect, loyality, trust, authority, selflessness, care, transparency, honesty, forgiving nature, truthfulness, love and not to forget a lifetime promise till eternity that declares I will always be there for u irrespective of all odd situations. A relationship that lacks even a single element that I mentioned cannot possess love in it as the basic foundation of such a relationship itself is extremely fragile]

Sanju could feel Geet's pain as she defined the actual meaning of love

Geet: Mere aur Maan ke rishte mein ye saari cheese bus ek tarfa thi Sanju; agar main maan bhi lu ke wo insaan mujhse sach mein pyar karta hai phir bhi main usse kabhi bhi apne zindagi mein daakil hone ka mauka nahi dungi kyunki main jaanti hoon Maan sirf apne bare mein sochta hai aur jo insaan khudgarz ho wo insaan sachhe pyar ki urhaniyat kabhi samaj nahi sakta [All these elements were one sided in the relationship that I and Maan shared. Maybe he genuinely loves me today but I won't be able to make him a part of my life as I know he is an epitome of selfishness and a man who just thinks about himself will never be able to understand the divinity of true love]

Sanju: Par Geet agar Maan teri kalpana ke saaye se bahar nikal kar sachhayi ka aaiyna ban jaaye toh? [But Geet what if Maan actually steps out from the visuals of your dreams and becomes the mirror of your reality then what?]

Geet: Tu kehna kya chahti hai? [What are u trying to say Sanju?]

Sanju: Geet maine tere pehlewale selfish Maan ko toh nahi dekha par jiss Maan se main mili hoon usmein maine tere liye sachha pyar; tujhe diye hue har dard ka pachtawa aur umr bhar tera saath nibhane ka vaada dekha hai. Mujhe yakeen hai ke jo khubiyaa tune sachhi mohabbat karnewalo mein batayi hai tujhe wo saari khubiyaan dheere dheere Maan mein nazar aayegi kyunki sachhe pyar ki lau kisi bhi toofan se bhuj nahi sakthi [Geet I have not met the old Maan who was an epitome of selfishness but I have seen this new Maan; infact I have seen a beautiful blend of immense love, realization of every deep wound of your heart as well as a never ending promise to stay u with u for a lifetime in his eyes. I am sure the qualities that u mentioned in true love will be highlighted in your Maan very soon as the luminescence of true love is such that any strong storm can't destroy it]

Geet: Aisa kabhi nahi hoga Maan kabhi badal nahi sakta [This can never happen Maan can never change]

Sanju: Aur wo badal gaya toh? [But what if he actually changes?]

Geet didn't have any reply; the mere thought of Maan becoming the man of her dreams was enough to rest down her case

She knew the day Maan fulfills the criterias of she would fall for him all over again as that day there won't be any doubts regarding his love

Geet: Sanju main tujhse baad main baat karti hoon [Sanju I will call u later]

Saying so Geet ends the call

Sanju: Kamal hai mere sawal ka jawab diye bagair hi phone kaat diya [Strange she disconnected the call before answering to my question]

Prem offers Sanju her cup of coffee

Prem: Geet ki khamoshi hi tumare sawal ka jawab thi Sanjana [Geet's silence was itself an answer to your question Sanjana]

Sanju takes a sip of coffee and waits for a better clarification from Prem

Prem placed the paper in which he had jotted down some points

Prem: Sanjana aaj Geet ne khud ye baat bata di ke Maan kis tarah usska vishwas aur pyar phir se jeet sakhta hai [Sanjana today Geet herself made it clear how Maan can win her love and trust back once again in a perfect manner]

Prem: Jis din Maan ne Geet ke ye 11criterias pure kar diye uss din humare dosto ki love story ko ek proper destination mil jaayega [The day Maan fulfills the 11 criterias of Geet the love story of our friends will get a perfect destination]

Prem read out the first criteria

Prem: Respect

Sanju: This will be the biggest challenge for Maan

Prem: Loyality

Sanju: I wonder how can this be proved?

Prem: Trust

Sanju: The backbone of every relationship

Prem: Authority

Sanju: Maan needs to show authority but not by becoming an obsessive lover… guess this will be another tough route for Maan

Prem: Selflessness

Sanju: Maan needs to lose himself completely in Geet's love to get a victory in this criteria

Prem: Care

Sanju: I am sure Maan cares for Geet but the challenge is how will he convince Geet?

Prem:Transparency

Sanju: This was something that their relationship lacked its important if u love someone ur life should be like an open book in front of thtat person or else chances of misunderstanding can arise

Prem: Honesty

Sanju: This is one of the basic foundations if Maan has to win Geet back he needs to be honest with her

Prem: Forgiving nature

Sanju: Can Maan have this element in his nature?

Prem: Love

Sanju: I have no second thoughts on his love but Geet won't trust him so easily

Prem: A lifetime promise till eternity that declares I will always be there for u irrespective of all odd situations

Sanju: Hmm… this is what every girl dreams of I wish my Geet's dreams also turn to b true

Prem was observing Sanju as she kept on sipping the coffee there was a funny smile on his face

Sanju: What's the plan Prem? Shall we inform Maan abou these criterias?

Prem: No Sanjana we will not do this. If Maan wants to win Geet back then he will have to read the words of her heart if we become a readymade translator of him then do u think this will be right?

Sanju: Hmm… so whatever has to be done is to be done by Maan

Prem: Exactly we just need to remind Geet about her 11 criterias as I am sure Geet will herself narrate us the story of a changed Maan

Sanju finished her coffee and Prem picks up her cup

Sanju: Prem the coffee was nice

Prem: More than the coffee your coffee lathered moushtache looks much better

Prem laughed his heart out as he stepped in the kitchen leaving a shocked Sanju behind

Meanwhile,

Maaneet's flat

Maan was admiring Geet's photograph

Maan: Geet main tumhe wo saari khushiyaan dunga jisse tum deserve karti ho ab tum mujhmein apna wo Maan dekhogi jo tum humesha dekhna chahti thi [Geet I will fill your life with happiness that u truly deserve to get by becoming the Maan that u always wanted me to be]

He kissed her photograph and stepped into the kitchen with a hope of rekindling and rewriting the beautiful chapters of their past
