Res! :)

~Edit~

Loving this story, sj - it is very interesting how you are unfolding the plot. I especially enjoy it because of your characters - you spoken about a select few but they are all well rounded, intelligent and believable. Aakash and Payal are a proper married couple (and not the eternally virginal Payalji & Aakashji!), they make a good team together and they also take their role as siblings very seriously. You have spoken about Aakash's monumental patience, and his maturity in handling situations without underestimating those around him. Garima is also interesting; in this last update you did a really great job at telling us about her fears and concerns as a mother. That talk between Garima and Khushi was beautiful.

Khushi & Payal run their dad's business! Brilliant, I could honestly read this story just for that. I love this Khushi - real, intelligent, believable, smart and someone who can take care of herself. Not to forget feisty. Her confusion and irritation about her feelings for Arnav make her, at least to me, very endearing.

Arnav is everything we love and hate about him - complex, flawed, layered, manipulative, caring (inconspicuously!), respectful of elders, and will do anything for family. I loved how you described him initially by drawing parallels with his Land Rover (me loves!), it was brilliant, and very economic with words. Also, just the image of Arnav driving the black Land Rover makes me swoon :D The attraction and sexual tension between Arnav and Khushi is riveting to say the least; I bet Arnav couldn't help but ask her for that dance because he saw her dance with someone else just before that !

I am looking forward to this marriage, alliance to be precise - because while it is a marriage of convenience, it is not a mock marriage. Both Arnav and Khushi have decided to at least respect the sanctity of a marriage - no "you are my wife only for society" business. This way they might at least have a chance at love. Mamaji gave a real good piece of advice in the end here, hope it gets into that thick head of his.

Thanks for the PM dear, and I want Part 5 jaldi !!

So there it is.
The real set of events that led to Khushi's acceptance of the business proposal..ummm...I mean marriage with Arnav.

So Khushi's had a really rough past and Garima has been her pillar of strength and support during all those times...and this time...for wanting to do something she wants...Khushi agreed to the proposal.

I loved the way you brought out all the fears of Garima as a mother, all her concerns regarding Khushi and the extent to which society had expected this alliance to have happened.

Both the sisters run the business. Now that is really commendable. Hats off to both of them. :)
And I really love the way you have portrayed all the characters here. They're all mature, smart, intelligent and all relatable to in real life...you know? Not really things of a fairy tale...and that's wonderful. :)👏

I'm looking forward to see how this alliance goes on for Khushi and Arnav in future...because though its like a business proposal on the outside...they both feel undercurrents for each other and hence...it does have the potential to eventually turn into something worth cherishing. :)

really nice to see things from Garima's prospective and understand her desperation to get K married to arnav .and k seems to have a dark past that garima frets would resurface to haunt her and so wants to keep her safe from it.And as of khushi's love stories and a perfect marriage garima is right Mr perfects' exist only in fantasies and we must compromise and ppl can fall in love after marriage also but u never know when it comes to arnav as he is a complex character. Hope they are successful in turning this marriage of convenience to a marriage of love, trust and care. 😉😳

I'm copying VG, because I typed my comment only to realise that it is parroting hers. 😆

That was such a sweet and poignant moment between Khushi and Garima. So this is why she agreed to marry him. But this gets curiouser and curiouser. So is Khushi adopted? Cos there's a line there about how Garima looked for her and brought her home and practically saved her life. I must say, your writing style really leaves us on the edge, the way you hint at all those deep dark secrets, while being vague about the whole thing. Excellent work!

res edited.

I'm just wondering about the shadows of Khushi's past. Why is Garima so much over protective about Khushi. Would be looking forward to the answers.

I just don't know what to say, but Garima forcing Khushi for this Alliance left a bitter taste in the mouth. Though I know her intentions, are good but she should have considerations for her daughter's feeling. She is definitely hiding something about Khushi, and now wants this alliance just because of the media coverage about Khushi and Arnav.

We really wishes a mother can give a beautiful advice like Garima
strong and full of confident in her hope
hopefully arnav & khushi will respect their marriage
even without love at the beginning

Thank you

I truly loved the Garima perspective in their. Khushi agreed to marry because of her mom. I see there is a past regarding Khushi that Garima is hiding from Khushi but I can't wait to know what the past is. I love how you put the mom feelings in their.

So this marriage is a total business proposal for Arnav. I totally could see that.

I could get that Khushj is hesitant to marry Arnav and we also know why.

I have question: does Khushi know about the will?

still something is confusing me
arnav must have thought something before putting marriage proposal
something is going on in his brain
