Kashish head had already started aching when she heard the loud rap music coming out of the party and also couldn't figure out what the person on the other side of the cell phone was trying to tell her due to the loud voice. Now she could not wait to get out of there. She only came here coz priya insisted. She shut her cell phone after she talked to badi ma and saw the driver seat was empty. Sujal had already gone inside. She never liked these wild parties where god knows what happens. They were never her thing. She looked to her left and already saw a preview of what's gonna happen in the party. There Sujal was standing with a girl holding her hands. From the look on her face, kash could easily guess that she was quite smitten by him. 'God how does this guy manages to impress a woman within minutes', she thought. He definitely has some sort of magical power. She was confused whether to go up to him interrupt their little lovey-dovey conversation or just stand there waiting 4 him. She then decided to stay knowing that very well that he will comeback to get her. But surprisingly he didn't. He went in with that girl completely forgetting that Kashish was waiting 4 him. She felt a pain in her heart but she ignored it completely. 'It's not like I'm scared to go inside alone. I'm not gonna have fun in there so I might as well let him enjoy the night with that girl.' She thought as she tried to justify his action and moved towards the entrance door.

'Boring, boring, boring as he**. Why did I even agree to come here?' Her eyes wandered as she sat in a corner watching all the madness going around here. Sujal, Krips and Priya were dancing away the night with their partners. And here she was drinking her sixth glass of water and watching all these people having fun. Well not fun exactly. In her dictionary fun didn't meant making out in front of lot of people or not being able to stand properly because they were too drunk. Or maybe she was the one who was boring. She finished her sixth glass of water totally unable to take up more. May be she should get away from this toxic atmosphere and get herself some fresh air. She searched for a place without moving where she would be disturbed by any1. It turned out be her luck that the party hall was near to the beach. She could hear the sound of the waves hitting the shores very clearly. She looked again as she assumed that there must be a direct exit to the beach shore from the party hall. She tried to get up as she found one and walked towards it. She felt the loud rap music fade somewhere behind her. The only thing she could feel now was the cool breeze hitting her face. She sat there looking at the vast ocean in front of her. Her mind itself was an ocean right now. An ocean filled with thoughts. Her memory went back to her childhood. Her family. Her mother. She spend hours sitting undisturbed by anyone drowning in her own world. She was glad that she was alone but at the same time sad that no one came looking 4 her. Even though she tried her best to make herself believe that she should get used to this loneliness by now, somehow her heart refuses to believe it.
"I see u having so much fun here. I never knew hat staring at an ocean could be so much fun than a rocking party?"
She turned around to see as a response to a little sarcastic voice and saw Sujal standing there with his hands folded.
"Yea it's a lot fun 4 people like me. Care to join," she replied back in the same sarcastic tone.
"Ya sure. Why not? U know what they saw that u should always try new things in ur life. Today I'll learn how to have fun by just staring at the ocean." He also sat beside her with a smile.
"Well it's not that much fun. But it's definitely relaxing."
She said while hugging herself with a cute smile and closed her eyes letting the problems in her life go away. Sujal watched as she closed her eyes, the warmth in her face, her glowing skin, the smile in her soft lips, the hair playing in the wind, some falling into her face. He didn't know what but he was feeling very different about Kashish from the past couple of days. Something he never felt before. She was different in some way. Her talk, her walk, the way she tucks her hair behind her ear…….everything was different about her. She was like a mystery to him. He had started dreaming about her in the night. His mood would be bad if he didn't talk to her one day, if he didn't tease her. Seeing her laugh at him or chasing him around made him happy. He couldn't just stop staring at her beautiful innocent face. He just wished that the time would stand still so she would be with him forever. He tried to shrug off the wandered thoughts in his mind. He knew the fact that she would never wanted to be a person like him even though he was her best friend. He had understood about her at least that much by now. But still that didn't stop him from thinking about her. He couldn't help but admire her beauty in the moonlit night. She was like the princess in the stories waiting for her prince to return. He wondered if he ever could be that prince. Immersed in his own thoughts, he didn't know when he came close to her unknowingly. Kashish opened her eyes as soon as she felt a hot breath on her face. She saw Sujal staring at her with an irresistible intensity in his eyes. She saw love, passion, tender, care everything in his eyes. Every thing she was scared of. She wanted to look away but couldn't. She shivered slightly as she felt his arms coming around her waist and his face just inches apart from hers. Time slipped away as they kept looking at each other with an unknown hot burning sensation growing inside both of them. He slowly took away the strands of hairs that were bothering her lips and caressed her face. She felt her breath caught in throat when he touched her and closed her eyes not be able to look at him anymore. He brought her face more close to him. But the thick silence was suddenly interrupted by a phone call. Sujal suddenly realized they were in an awkward position and took his hands away from her. Kashish too moved away embarrassed. "uhmmm….I'm…..I'm…" he tried to speak but was stopped again by the ring. He angrily attended it cursing the person under his breath still looking at an embarrassed Kashish. She watched in concern as she saw Sujal's face go pale white, his jaw tightening. She got scared 4 a minute as she saw Sujal face go red due to angry as he listened to the other person talking. He shut his phone with a serious face. "let's go Kashish. I'm dropping u at hostel. It's quite late." he said in a serious tone. She knew some thing was wrong didn't have the courage to ask him as his mood was completely off. She silently followed him to the car. The ride was very quite. But Kashish's mind was wandering on what happened at the beach. What would've happened if there wasn't that phone call? she glanced at Sujal who was looking straight. From his face it was clear that he was quite upset. 'Was he upset coz he felt guilty at what happened.' She wanted cry at that thought because for some reason she didn't want him to feel that.
