Arnav felt his heavy eyelids drop as he tried to open them. He hardly slept last night. Scenes of that moment kept playing in his head. Could she be telling the truth? Is she really innocent or it is a ploy again? What if she is innocent? No I saw them together in that room with nothing but bedsheets covering them. Bas***d, my own brother did that to me! How dare he think he could snatch my possessions? Arnav thought.

Khushi got ready for another day with her sister. They were going shopping and Akash was accompanying them. Khushi liked him a lot for her sister. She may have a problem with his family but not with him. What she's really troubled by is that he's too quiet. If her sister is getting ill treated he may not say anything out of fear for his brother. Well, for her Jiji's sake she will just stay quiet.

"Khushi, this sari looks gorgeous on you, you have to take it." Payal beamed at her beautiful sister in that lacy red sari.
"No jiji! I don't wear all this anymore, I'll wear a dress I'm comfortable with that now." Khushi replied calmly but seeing her sister's mood change, she took that sari.
"Perfect now you will wear this next week for my roka understood." Payal warned her.
"Haan jiji I will. Now let's go eat, I'm so hungry." Khushi moaned.

"So Khushi? What's it like in London? I mean I have always wanted to go there, but Bhai never allowed me." Akash asked the sat down for lunch.
"It wonderful jijaji, its like a dream come true for me, I have no regrets going up because today I can say I am an independent woman at 24." Khushi said proudly.
"That's true, not every woman gets to live their dreams, but I'm proud that my youngest sister in law can stand on her own feet today without needing anyone. Never let your past affect your present and future. Let bygones be bygones." Akash said smiling proudly at her achievements.
"Thanks Jiju, that means a lot to me." Khushi said wiping her tears and looking up to see her jiji beaming at Akash with so much respect. Any doubt that Khushi had was now gone, she knew now that Akash will stand with Payal till his last breath.

Arnav could not concentrate at work today; his head was throbbing and eyes burning for sleep. All he could think about is that innocent hazel eyes. His heart was ready to believe her but the ASR in I'm is too dominating. He dialed Aman and told him to cancel all his meetings as he's going home.

"But sir, The Smiths are coming today to finalise the London deal. They are leaving tomorrow and they made a specific condition that you have to be present here." Aman protested.
"I don't care, let the deal go to hell then. My mood is off now, and you should know better than to hold a meeting now." Arnav screamed and slammed the phone down.

Arnav's staff was in shock, their boss never turned away from his meetings. His work is his number 1 priority so what happen to him today?

Khushi's hotel room

Khushi needed a hot bubble bath in her luxurious bathtub today. She got her bath ready and slipped into the water. Feeling her aching muscle contract with the heat of the water. She dozed of with memories of that night flooding to her.

FLASHBACK 4 YEARS AGO (finally guys you will know the whole story, brace yourselves, the Roka and Mendhi will be short because I don't want to drag this flashback)

After Nani had phoned the Guptas and told them about the lovebirds the wedding was fixed. And before you know it the shopping was done, the preparations were done and it was the day of the Roka.

ROKA

"Chal Khushi, everyone is waiting for you." Payal came to escort her to the man she loved the most.

Arnav saw his angel walk towards him in a stunning purple net sari. It showed of her slim waist and curves as well as her belly. He wore a black sherwani just for her sake. He would have been happy with just his suit but looking at Khushi's sad face he melted.

"Wow Khushi, you look beautiful baby." Arnav said causing Khushi to blush really hard.

The romance at the Roka continued. They teased each other, danced together showing everyone just how happy they where. Finally it was time for everyone to leave but the naughty couple had disappeared. They saw them walk down after a while and it didn't take them long to understand that the blush on Khushi's cheeks were not there for nothing.

Mendhi

Khushi awoke early that morning as it was her Mendhi. The Raizada's will be coming to her house except Arnav. He's not allowed to attend. Khushi had her Mendhi done and after a while saw Arnav walk towards her. It turns out that Anjali couldn't stand to see her Chotte's plight and gave him permission to come.
They danced and romanced not caring that people were watching them

Sangeet (Drama Day)

Lavanya and Nk put on a show for the lovebirds, they were enjoying themselves so much that they did not realise their separation was being planned right under their nose.

Its was raining really heavy that night, it became impossible to drive in that. So Nani had asked the Guptas to stay over for the night and leave in the morning for the haldi. Everyone got into there respective rooms. Payal and Khushi shared a room and soon fell asleep.

At around midnight Khushi received a message from Arnav to meet him on the terrace. She blushed and ran to the terrace.
No one was there when she got there so she waited for him on the bench.

"Khushi Bhabi? What happen? Why did call me?" Nk asked confused as to why she wanted to see him at midnight.
"Kya? Main? But I didn't call you NK, I'm waiting for Arnav here he had asked me to meet him." Khushi laughed.
"Achaa? Ok then, but I could swear I saw the sms from your number." Nk said.
"My phone? Oh no I left it in the room, doesn't matter NK maybe its just a confusion. Go back to sleep." She said not thinking much of the situation.
"Teek hai Bhabi, sounds weird huh? But you are my Bhabi so I have to call you that." Nk said giggling.

Nk turned around to leave when two really strong people grabbed him and Khushi. They put hankies over their mouth and nose knocking them unconscious with the chloroform.

Khushi had a throbbing headache and felt to throw up. The last she remember was being knocked unconscious with chloroform. Who would want to do that to us? I have to tell Arnav what happen.

She got up from the bed only to come face to face with Arnav and the families.

"Arnav thank god, there's something I have to tell you." She started.
"Too late Khushi I have seen it for myself." Arnav replied emotionless.
"So you saw then? Great that means I don't have to explain." Khushi said with relief.

Before Khushi could take a breath of relief, she felt a sting on cheek. Arnav slapped her. She couldn't move or blink due to shock.

"Arnav?" Khushi said shocked.
"Shut up, just shut the hell up! You don't have to explain anything? How dare you cheat me Khushi?" Arnav yelled furiously digging his nails into her arms causing blood to flow.
"Ouch, Arnav leave me, you are hurting me." She cried in pain not able to understand what is going on.
"I'm hurting you? Is that so? What about the pain you gave me?"He yelled digging more into her arms not caring that shed in pain.
"What did I do Arnav? I didn't hurt you" She asked.
"Really? Then tell me one thing Khushi? What the F*** are you and NK doing on the same bed with bedsheets wrapped around you?" He yelled making her jump.
"What rubbish..." She said but cut off when she saw NK waking up from the bed groggy and trying to understand what's going on.

"Nanav? What's going on? Why are you screaming?" NK asked shocked to see his brother hurting Khushi.
"Don't act innocent NK, you being my brother, how could you sleep with our own Bhabi? Aren't you ashamed?" Arnav screamed.
"Listen Nanav don't accuse us of something like that! We would never do that. For god's sake we are brother in law and sister in law." Nk protested.
"Exactly so knowing that how could yourll do that to me?" Arnav asked in tears.

"Arnav I swear, I didn't do anything. In fact I can't remember anything that happened because I passed out." Khushi confessed.
"Oh I see! So my brother pleasured you to an extent that you passed out." Arnav spat at her.
"Kya? How can you say that Arnav?" Khushi cried.
"Its true Khushi, you are a Fu***** b****. You are a characterless wh**e. I can't stand the sight of you anymore. Get out and never come back. You are dead to me. I will perform your last rites if I have to.
"Arnav! Please trust me! I didn't do anything. Devi Maiya ki kasam." She sobbed pinching the skin on her neck.
"ENOUGH KHUSHI!!!!!! Take your lover and get out. I hope you never be happy in your life, I wish you would suffer till your last days, and I curse you so that no one would love you ever again." He screamed hurting this poor innocent soul so badly.

Khushi burst out crying and turned to walk when Anjali walked up to her and slapped her really hard. But by then Khushi couldn't feel anything. Arnav's words had done all the damage it could.

"Chee, I can't believe I wanted you for my Chotte! You disgusting woman. No wonder your parent's left you. You are once again an orphan. Be lucky your brother is not here he would killed you right her. You don't deserve anyone, you should hang yourself for what you did. Get out and don't come back. Even if you die we will never come and see you." Anjali yelled before slapping her again.

Khushi couldn't handle all this now first Arnav and now her Bhabhi.

"Bhabhi I swear..." She stopped feeling Anjali's third slap.
"Don't call me Bhabhi! I'm nothing to you. Get out now." Anjali yelled grabbing Khushi towards the door.

"Wait Anjali!" Garima yelled. She walked to Khushi and slapped her on both her cheeks.

"You are dead to me do you hear? I'm glad I'm not your real mother you would have been a disgrace to me. You proved today that you are not my child but just an orphan I picked up out of sympathy. I should have left you at the orphanage instead of adopting you. Look what you did today." She yelling shaking Khushi on her bleeding arms.

"Yes, from day 1 I told you Garima, she's a bad luck for us. She proved that today. Thank god Shyam is not here, he would have been so hurt today to know the girl he love more than his own sister is a characterless girl." Buaji yelled slapping Khushi harder than anyone else.

Khushi was too shocked and hurt at this. Her family and Arnav didn't trust her so why should she defend herself when there would be no point in that. She walked to the door but before she could open it Arnav opened it and grabbed her bloody sore arms and flung her on the ground. She banged her head on the cemented ground, blood rushing out but feeling no pain as the words everyone told her rang in her ears.

"Khushi? Don't go please! Come, we'll go together, we'll find a room, work and support each other. I know my sister better than anyone. You are innocent, I know you are. Don't worry about anyone." Payal yelled pushing passed Arnav, picking Khushi from the ground and wiping her blood off.
"Nahi Jiji. My path from here is a lonely one now. You stay here and look after everyone. I will be fine. I will keep in touch with you I promise. Don't worry the day will come when the truth will come out but by then it will be too late for anything." She said giving one last look of hope to Arnav. But he just stood there staring at her with disgust with no sign of trust.

Arnav knew he needed that deal or else his company will run a loss. So he asked Aman to set up a meeting at Blue Water restaurant. He walked in and saw the Smiths waiting for him. They started discussing everything and they signed the documents. He got up to leave when he heard that familiar laughter. It can't be her! What would she be doing here anyway? He thought.

He walked towards the exit when he saw her walk in. She had a blue cocktail dress on with pencil heel stilettos and her long black her was left open. Directly behind her walked a really handsome rich looking guy. He had his hand on her waist and was kissing he rosy cheeks.

"What the? How dare he touch her? Don't people know not to touch my woman?" Arnav thought furiously storming towards them. All hell is going to break lose today and he didn't care about his reputation right now. All he knew is that no one had the right to touch her beside him.

She saw him storm towards them and shivered, she turned to Arjun and ignored him hoping he will get the hint and walk away. But Arnav Singh Raizada will not walk away so easily.

"Khushi? What are you doing here?" He asked trying to control his anger.
"We are here to have Supper. Nice seeing you again, but we need to go." She replied quickly and turned to walk when he grabbed her and crashed her against his chest.
"Let go of me! People are watching. What is your problem?" She said softly not wanting to make the situation worse.
"Get your hands of her Dude right now, or I swear to god you will live to regret." Arjun said fiercely. "What makes you think that Arnav Singh Raizada takes orders from anyone? And who are you to interfere. This is none of your business." He said smirking.
"It is my business, because the person you are hurting is my fiance." Arjun shouted shocking Arnav to an extent that he couldn't move.
