There was a difference in his stare I had noticed right away. Dad stares at mum like a lunatic without a properly functioning brain but he stared at Asmara with so much love in his eyes that it was a little unnerving! And he blinked quite frequently to stop his tears from falling too, something he doesn't do with Mum. And there was the sweetest smile on his lips which isn't there when he's staring at mum cos his mouth hangs open a little.
