Hello everyone! As you all know, now DD has almost reached its 4th thread and I'm very happy about it, no doubt. But there are a few things I want to mention before we move onto the next one.
Firstly, like we all know, in the past few chapters, a LOT has happened which has changed almost everything and what I had feared the most had happened. Like the Rihanna track. There were many that liked it and many that didn't. Recently someone had questioned me whether this track was planned ever since the start of the story or I made it up as the story progressed. Well, the answer to that would be I had already planned that, ever since the start of this fiction. If you all remember, in the CS, I had left a little teeny-tiny hint in Riddhima's part and I was kinda surprised when no one pointed that out, but that was an indication to everyone that Riddhima also had another shade to her character, but since not many people noticed that, I had kinda expected this reaction from some people.
Secondly, I want to say something about this marriage track. I know the parts are never up to mark and I know I've disappointed many people with the sudden turns in the story and I apologize for that. Most of the time I'm going to write in school when I have a few minutes spared and then I don't even recheck to see what I've written and when I go back and re-read what I've written after a while, I realize it DOES sound very stupid and confusing. The thing is I am not at all good with putting twists out. I always have a rough idea about what's gonna happen, but never really go into detail and when I reach the part of writing, I realize 'OMG, I never thought how this was going to turn out' and all that stuff and that's what happened here. So I really apologize for that. I know this is very random, but I just wanted to say this. Anyways. Now coming to the main thing.
I know you all will MURDER me for what I'm about to say here, but I think it's, umm, important and better for the story. I have decided to put DD on hold for a while and continue my OS, Young Love. I know this is a HORRIBLE time to put this FF on hold, but I have reasons for it.
1. I really need a break from this FF. Not that I don't like this FF or anything like that, but I need time to plan the story out. I have a few things in my mind on how I want to take the story forward and how I'm going to implement some things. Unlike the previous chapters, I really wanna be sure on how and when I want to reveal some things and all that so it doesn't look all rushed and horrible. :(
2. I am thinking about changing my writing styles. I am debating on whether I should continue writing this FF in 3rd person or should I also switch to 1st person sometimes. Later on, there will be many chapters when it'll only be about Riddhima and how she feels, sometimes on Armaan and sometimes on both and I feel like I am better writing 1st person but again, you all are my readers. You have your own opinion. So tell me what you all want me to do here. Should I continue writing 3rd person or should I also switch to 1st person sometimes? Tell me!
3. Young Love is closer to my heart. Don't get me wrong here, DD's close to my heart too, but there's another to why I like Young Love more and I'll reveal that once it ends. :)
Anyways. So this is my last post on this thread. I will not post the other thread any time soon so keep posting here.
