For The First Time
Have you ever felt that suddenly the world is a better place, that nothing around you matters, that the world stopped spinning. When you see someone you feel like no one exists except the two of you, your heart just stops beating and you want to do nothing but look at that person.
Well I was feeling like this right now, because I just saw the most beautiful girl in the whole world. Her eyes that seemed to be laughing along with her, her milky skin, her luscious lips'
I was at my sisters engagement where I was forced to come. I mean I love my sister and all but I think she's too young to get engaged. Call me possessive but I loved my sis too much!!
I was just walking around with a scowl on my face when I saw her, speaking of her, where did she go.
I was just looking around when someone tapped me on my shoulder. I turned around to see the same pair of eyes I was searching for a second back. Man! They looked even more beautiful up close. SHE looked even more beautiful up close.
"Hey," she said. Wow! Her voice sounds like tinkling bells
"Uh.. Hi." Wow real smooth dude.
"You are Nicky's brother, Armaan, right?"
That's me by the way. Armaan Mallik brother of Nikita Mallik soon to be Nicky Modi. Humph.
"Yup, that's me. You are..?"
"I'm riddhima. One of Nicky's good friends."
'One of' was right. Nicky had friends all over, even in Africa and she hasn't even been there!! She was the kind of person, who, if a thief comes into the house she'll start chatting with him over coffee. Find out everything about him, his wife/girlfriend, his life history in short and then beat the shit out of him.
"How come I've never seen you when I come over?" she asked. "That's because I stay in sanjeevani residency. I know LAME right! But its because we can reach the hospital quickly in case of emergencies. But its still very dumb." Before she could reply mom made an announcement that the ring ceremony would be taking place now.

I was standing near the dance floor keeping a close eye on abhi and nicky with a constant scowl on my face. Riddhima came and stood beside and whispered, "Nicky told me you are not too thrilled with her getting engaged." I turned to her, "Well its like this, mom calls me one day and says 'Nicky's getting engaged. You have to attend the engagement.' I don't even know this guy!! He could be serial killer for all I know !"
"Whoa calm down big boy."
Did she just call me 'boy'. Hmm' it sounded kinda nice. I had to stop myself from doing a head stand right there and then and so asked her to dance instead. We headed to the dance floor. "He's a nice guy." she told me.
"He better be."
After that we danced the whole night together. Whether it was a fast song or slow, good or bad.
