Things had gone wary since Sid's request and Riddhimaz acceptance. They both tried their best to avoid one another and didnt share a single duty together. But tht ws getting harder day by day. Riddhima had become somewht close to a corpse because she understood and accepted the fact the only way to define hapiness in her life ws Sid. Sid on the other hand could nt understand and accept the growing pain within him when he would distance himself from Riddhima. Sid and Riddhima felt the same way fr one another but the only difference ws tht Riddhima ws aware of wht she felt and could understand why she felt since she had her memories of their life together bt Sid he had no reason to feel tht way. He had no memories. He had nothing. He always tried nt to think of Riddhima. Nt to think of the past they shared for Tamanna's sake bt still every time he passed by her he cudnt help bt wonder.
Shany's cabin (Shanky, SR and ArSh)
Dr.Shanshank had called Sid and Riddhima to his cabin.
Shanky: aap dono yahan mainey issliye bulaya hai takkey main aap dono ko bata sakoon keh aap ko Shimla jaana pareyga...
Sid: hum dono ko? Aur koi nahin jaa sakta?
Shanky: jee nahin. Aap ko koi takleef hogi kya?
Sid: nahin..
Shanky: toh bas..
Riddhima: dad..
Shanky: aap iss waqt iss hospital ki doctor hain aur aap merey decision seh argue nahin kar sakti.
Riddhima: par...
Shanky: mujhe lagta hai keh aap dono ki kahin duties hongi.. Toh please procede
(both Riddhima and Sid get up to leave. They get up too quickly and bump each others head. They both laugh and leave. Shanky ws closely observing all tht. He thn signals for someone to come inside the toilet. ArSh come out.)
Shanky: toh kaisey tha mera acting?
Shilpa: very good sir.
Armaan: theek tha. Leken sir agar woh second last dialog toda aur emotion keh saath boltey toh behtar hota
Shanky: Doctor Armaan aap ko nahin lagta keh aap kuch zyada free hora hey ho.
Shilpa: sir isnt tht whts expected of Armaan?
Armaan: oh hello! Abh meri bari! Pata hai mein tumseh kya expect karta hoon? Jab sab kuch theek honey hi walah ho I can trust u to ruin it.
Shilpa: fr example?
Armaan: US! Sab kuch theek tha leken tumhari guilt ney band bajah di hamari relation ki...
Shanky: larkey ki baat mein dum hai.
Shilpa: sir aap ussey kyun favour kar rahey ho?
A nurse walks in and Dr. Shanky excuses thm and asks thm to leave fr their duties.
House scene (SR)
Next morning Sid comes to pick Riddhima up.
Sid: chalein?
Riddhima: haan tum yaheen rukho mein kuch samaan bag mein daal keh aati hoon.
(Sid waits fr a abt an hour and Riddhima still does nt come dwn. He finally decides to go up and check on wht she ws doing.
She ws still stumbling with her clothes. He comes forward and goes through her files jst to make sure they were the ones he had asked fr. Riddhima looks back and smiles.)
Riddhima: barosa nahin hai kya?
Sid: pata hai Riddhima aaj tak mein apney kal keh barey mein jaanna kyun nahin chahta? Its cuz tum jo bhi bologi main maan loonga.
(his lips form a stiff line n to gt his mind off wht he ws abt to say he looks up her cupboard and spots a brown box. It ws labelled as "Dead Folks Documents". He laughs at the way Riddhima had named the morgue list of the hospital. He reaches out fr it and it collapses on the floor and Sid falls. Riddhima looks back and shock cross her face.)
Riddhima: Sid woh sab alphabetically order mein arrange huey they.
Sid: kyun? Sab alphabetical order mein marey they kya?
Riddhima: Sid!
Sid: acha acha mein in sab ko arrange karta hoon.
(and he jst shoves thm all together.)
Riddhima: order mein arrange karo Sid...
Sid: Riddhima kaunsa tum upar jaa kar un sabka attendance leyney wali ho.
Riddhima: Sid!
(she sits dwn n starts arranging the papers with him.)
Sid: mera death certificate hoga in sab keh beech.
Riddhima: Sid! Har baat mazaq nahin hoti.
(she tries to grab a paper tht flies by Sid and in the process she falls on him. And for the first time in ages their eye meet.
Sid gently tucks one of her hair strand behind her ear and cnt help but stare into her eyes. She looks dwn.)
Sid: abh uttney ka kya logi..
(Riddhima punches him in the chest and gets up)
Sid (laughing): Riddhima... Rukho...
(she leaves)
Sid: abh samajh mein aaya keh hamara pyar kaisa tha.
Car scene (SR)
Riddhima: gaana nahin hai play karney keh liye.
Sid: hai na..
(and he plays Hotel Room Service by Pitbull)
Sid (singing the lyrics): Forget abt ur boyfren n meet me at the hotel room. U can bring ur girl frens and meet me at the hotel room.
Riddhima: yaadasht keh saath saath apni class bhi bhool gaye kya?
Sid: oh hello! Yeh Pitbull ka gaana hai... Lyrics peh nahin music peh concentrate karo.
Riddhima: hw am I supposed to concentrate on the music only jab tum itni besharmi seh lyrics koh gaa rahe ho.
Sid: besharmi? Nw Im hurt.
(he lightly hits his chest with his fist. Riddhima changes the song and puts an indian track. Sid makes a face bt dsnt change the song. Riddhima falls asleep and Sid notices. The traffic light goes red and Sid looks to Riddhima and his eyes were locked upon wht he saw. Her hair ws ovr her face and his hand unknowingly moves forward to place her hair ovr her ear. Sid thn move closer still and he cud hear her breathe. A man honks frm behind and Sid pulls back quickly bt Riddhima's necklace is stuck to his shirt button. He is caught in crime as Riddhima wakes up. Riddhima first shocked by the proximity and thn looks to him questioningly.
Sid: mujhe kyun shak seh dekh rahi ho?
Riddhima: pata nahin Sid... Shayad issliye kyun keh tum merey seat letney waley ho.
Sid: haan leken tumharey necklace ney mujhe pakar rakha hai.
Riddhima: aur woh kya urr keh tumharey button peh chala gaya?
Sid: har baat mein meri ghalti dhoondh lo.
A man knock on his window. And Sid looks up frustrated.
Sid: abh isko kya hai?
Man: traffic light green hogayi hai... Aap ghadi chalaney ka irada rakhtey hain kya?
Sid: koshish kar rahey hain!
Man: kya karney ki koshish kar rahey ho aap? Kyun yeh ghadi chalaney ki koshish nahin lagta.
Sid: haan jab Riddhima... I mean meri patni ka CID special mood khatam hojaye toh shayad...
(Riddhima looks to Sid the minute he says "patni" and he tries to untangle her bead necklace with one hand n maintains his balance with the other. He tries and takes times which frustrates the already frustrated man.)
Man: behenji app toda sa madat kareingi?
(Riddhima nods. She comes forward and and tries bt fails and finally gs to untangle the the strings by her mouth. Sid jst watches as she bends dwn on his chest. He is taken back by the emotions tht he felt so strongly at tht moment. Riddhima pulls herself back finally free and Sid looks to the Man.)
Man: ur welcome (winks and gs to his car)
Riddhima: woh kya tha?
(Sid tensed tht she wud ask the same question abt why he ws on her again)
Riddhima: wht ws tht wink abt?
Sid: oh thank Lord!
Shimla resort scene (SR)
Sid rubbig his hands together walks in the resort. Riddhima follows and Sid looks towards her she ws fumbling with her bags and Sid comes to help her bt she decides to be stubborn and hold her bags on her own.
Sid: Riddhima sab log dekh rahey hain. Tum uttah nahin pawoh gi
Riddhima: par mujhe utta na hai
Sid: Riddhima cud u please let me help. Ek baar bas ek baar.
Riddhima: Sid i can do it.
Sid: acha toh bhari cheezein kaisey utta they hain mein sikha tha hoon. Peh ley sab kuch zameen peh rakho.
She does.
Sid: abh sarey bags keh holder pakro par utta na mat.
She does.
And Sid carries her in one go. She holding on to her bags protests bt Sid wudnt lsn.
Sid: tum bags uttana chahti thi na? Uttah liya na?! Woh alag baat hai keh mainey tumhey uttah liya... Par tumhey bags utta na tha jo tumney utta liya.
Riddhima: Sid! Mujhe utaaro!
Sid: utaar nahin sakta par phek sakta hoon... Abh decide karo ghirna hai ya nahin?
(Riddhima jst looks at him while he looks forward. Riddhima remembers when she walked bare foot on the mandir steps and he had carried her, the memory and this moment brought a tear to her eye. They walk through the crowded lobby and ppl do look at thm bt tht didnt bother thm.
They reach their room and Riddhima wipes off her tear. Sid is surprised.)
Sid: kya hua?
Riddhima: kuch nahin.
Sid: merey barey mein kuch yaad aaya jo mujhe yaad nahin...
(Riddhima smiles at his innocence while her tear drops and nods. Sid had his room bt still decides to give her company till dinner.)
Sid: acha toh yaadasht jaaney seh pehley main kaisa tha?
Riddhima (raises an eyebrow): I thought u didnt wanna noe abt ur past...
Sid: nahin main abh bhi nahin jaanna chahta. Bas apney barey mein pooch raha tha..
Riddhima: bilkul aisey jaisey ho.
Sid: no maturity? No macho attitude? No difference?
Riddhima: no difference!
Sid: man i didnt mature at all! By God's grace naa jaaney kab woh din aayega jab main mature hogawoonga.
Riddhima: Sid.... Maturity insaan keh attitude seh nahin uski decisions seh aati hain.. N u make the most mature decisions. Aur tumhey badal na bhi nahin chahiye.
Sid: hmmm. Toh main mara kaisey? (laughs). Cnt belive Im asking this.
Riddhima: usskey liye mujhe tumhey tumharey past keh barey mein bata na hoga.
Sid: ur point is?
Riddhima (shocked): terrace u made me swear!
Sid: oh haan! N i didnt make u swear.. Hello tum khud aayi aur keh diya keh sab kuch bhool ney ko tayar thi!
Riddhima: pyar ka wasta kissney diya tha?
Sid: moo seh nikhli har baat ko seriously lena zaroori hai kya?
Riddhima: toh ur saying keh WOH mazaq tha?
Sid: mazaq nahin par itni bhi sakhti seh door rehney ki kya zaroorat thi... Duty keh beech mein hi bye toh keh sakti thi!
(Be4 Riddhima could reply there ws a knock on the door n they had to abandon their convo in between. Food ws laid infront of thm and hunger took their better half.)
Sid: oh i have been wanting to ask u fr a very long time.
Riddhima (high hopes): kya?
Sid: woh merey cricket bat ka kya hua? I mean mill nahi raha.
Riddhima: Cricket bat Sid? Cricket bat?
Sid: haan tumhey kya laga? Main apni yaadasht bhool gaya hoon. Remember? Kabhi kabhi mujhe lagta tumhey psychiatrist ki zaroorat hai.
Riddhima: tumharey saath rehkey ussi layeq ban gayi hoon main.
(The lights go off. A waiter frm the lounge comes to inform thm tht electricity has gone out n hands Sid a candle when Sid protests. Sid comes back to the with slumped shoulders.)
Riddima: kya hua?
Sid: light chali gayi...
(Sid comes and places the candle in the middle of the table. Riddhima bends forward and lights it. She smiles slightly and Sid looks at her face behind the glowing candle. Some neighbour plays the radio n since the electricity and silence is at its peak everyone hears the song.

Har khushi seh har ghum seh begana hota hai
(Sid puts forward his hand. Riddhima is hesistant bt Sid puts on an innocent face and she automatically agrees. He takes her and they begin by fooling around with jst a little bit of grace. Sid keeps mouthing the lyrics [pyaar deewana hota hai mastana hota hai har khushi seh har ghum seh begana hota hai] and dragging her around. Bt Riddhima laughs out loud and Sid stops and stares. He keeps looking and her and amazed by the peace he feels within. He looks at her and pulls back a strand of her hair tht ws bothering her and him. He smiles at her. She smiles back. He bends down close to her. Feeling her breath against his face. It felt good to be tht close to her after such a long time. He held tht moment. He didnt move for a while. They went through all their recent memories. From the time they met to the time they decided never to meet again. The thought broke him and he he bent forward n before he could say wht he really wnted to say. Wht he hid frm himself. His blackberry beeped and in came a message frm our long lost frend Tamanna! And things come to a halt.)
*Okay I dnt noe if ppl can go frm mumbai to Shimla by car cuz I dnt live in India bt thn I needed a car scene so I jst sort of thought it to be possible although reality maybe alot different!
