Kripa was the one to take the first step as she had more time to think anyway and she had decided to call him. But then painful memories came flooding back and she thought over her decision to call him and a few minutes later- she texted him. A mere text saying

I need your help. Please come tomorrow morning to 21 queens street.

Angad read it and smirked. It was so like her- not to call like he had suggested but to text instead. There once was a time when even calls were too formal- they would come over to each other's house if they needed to talk. But that had passed away like his once-friendly nature. All that was left was stiff or heated meetings. Formal and usually forced. He did not mind meeting her, seeing her or talking to her but she did. And rightfully so. She could not bear the memories from inside not matter what she showed on the outside and unknown to her and everyone else' neither could he. Even then Angad had tried. tried to mend his mistake and at least bring back the friendship if not the love. He did not realize his mistake until it was too late and he suffered for it. Unfortunately so did Kripa even though she had no blame in anything except to love. And to love is not a crime, nor is it a sin. But for her it was the biggest sin of her life. So he looked at his list. And her name. Unknowingly, that text message that she had sent would make a huge difference in her life- much bigger than getting over the fact that she had to meet him again and a lot, lot bigger than finding a sponsor. He did not know whether what he was doing was right or wrong but for him everything that he could do to save his family is right. and the fact that his selfish intentions of finally being with her again would also be satisfied was just a bonus. Who was he kidding? He knew that one of the main reasons that he had made this decision and ignored using her at the start was purely because he still wanted her- correction- needed her. And after all- her own cousin had tried to set her up with him so he could not think that he was doing too much injustice with her. All he hoped for now is that the plan would succeed. If he still knew her- he could say without a doubt that it would because behind the charming getup- she cared terribly about what people thought of her and so hadn't had any scandal- yet. He would make sure that he would get her out of it as soon as possible though and hopefully she would accept his help.
