FG a reality game nt music competition

Some people have called FG as a musical competition while I respectfully disagree.... If it was a musical competition, they would not have spiced it up by all the drama and contestant votes and mock fights, but just selected judges which are knowledgable to music and selected the best singers. somthing what they do in saregama in zee..but the fact that some of the better singers left already shows its more of a game show with music as background and where charisma and performance is important...the so called singers if they keep harping on them being trained or better such as arpita and rex, if they really want just singing should compete in saregama to see where they stand...

FG is not just abt singing, because saregama has 100 times better singer than the bachhas at the gurukul...they want a jodi which is a good mix of singing and performing....and qazi and rr provide that besides showing the willingness to learn and being good human beings.....

Obviously FG is not strictly a singing competition - if it was, then talents like Arijit & Kirti would not be out. FG is more about a total package consisting of singing as well as performance and audience appeal.
It's like Indian Idol + Survivor.

While I am a big Qazi and RR supporter for FJ, I dont think Shaan was making fun of qazi, he was saying that FJ is more abt performing and is a reality show and I agree with that..... Also most of his points are valid and infact make all the more sense to support qazi and RR because how people behave under pressure is important for reality shows and qazi and rr have been most honest even under pressure which tells us bt wht they r made of......Some people have called FG as a musical competition while I respectfully disagree....
