Hi, I'm May. I rarely come on IF by the way, but I've been following this show and forum for a few days now and have come to like the peaceful atmosphere of the forum compared to the drama going on in the show nowadays.
Like most of you, I am watching this show mainly for SumVeer but only to see how their characters come to truly know and understand one another. I feel like they have a long way to go, especially Suman.
I don't have a lot to say about Suman's character but am hoping she sees her mother-in-law's true nature soon and begins to show a backbone against all the nonsense Kalawati throws at her. We've already seen that Suman does have the ability to stand strongly against anyone who misbehaves with her in her interactions with both Ranveer and Sindoora.
While I don't like how fast everything is moving, especially Ranveer's sudden proclamation of love(I think he has yet to truly feel that way), he definitely reminds me of Zaroon from Zindagi Gulzar Hai who also analyzes the two most active women in his life. He also had a best friend he was engaged to and a stranger who shows up, does better than him in college, shows him the mirror of life and someone who wins his heart with their principles and character. Like Zaroon, Ranveer also has an ideal which he finds in Suman. That I can totally relate to. And like Zaroon, Ranveer also doesn't care about her background and social status/circumstances.
I really liked hearing Ranveer's monologues and being able to see things through his perspective. That's rare for a male lead on Indian shows but it's a very good thing as it allows us to connect with the character more. I hope it continues.
Well, that's it for my intro and thoughts. I will be posting a review of yesterday's episode and hopefully do daily reviews as well. It'll be my first time doing so but I'll try it just so we can have some more discussions here.
Thanks for reading!
